I love how NYX lippies are so inexpensive, but not at all cheap! Gorgeous colours and most I have tried are long lasting. My favourite colour from the range is Snow White.

I have to say as a huge fan of all NYX products... A few months ago I was shopping for some spring/summer make up and instantly fell in love with a round lipstick from Nyx called "Stella"... Its a gorgeous bright coral pink color with a tiny bit of shimmer.... The color is almost exact to MACs "impassioned"... This lipstick only costs around $3 too which makes these lipsticks soo addictive to buy! The color payoff is unreal and in a four hour period i reapplied once... Not sticky and looks great with gloss over it... Overall my new favorite color for spring/summer 2013!

This review is based on the two NYX lipsticks I have recently bought Strawberry Milk (cool, bright pale pink) and Eros (cool red).
Although these lipsticks were very cakey and seemed to highlight every crease in my lips, I have recently decided to purchase 5+ from cherryculture as NYX had a 20% discount in hope that the right shade will win me over.
The texture if very slippery and creamy - I do love this texture but fear this texture doesn't love me.
The colours are beautiful in themselves but do show every line in my lips. Maybe with a little lip buffing I will get better results.
Will post a second review once my new order arrives.

Bought the Blush shade which is a very pretty pink. Nice color but almost zero staying power without eating or drinking. It just seems to disappear within an hour.

these are my favorite lipsticks!!!! i get them in the fashion district in LA and they are about 2.50$....they are cheap but yet soo pigmented and wearable...i love how creamy them go on the lips specially over chapstick or lipgloss.....

Love these. Super pigmented and a huge selection of colors. Sure they aren't as creamy as MAC, but I still think they are a great product. I use a lip treatment underneathe and it helps with moisture. I find they last just as long as any other lipsticks if you don't use lip liner or layer or anything like that. Personally I would rather pay $3-5 for a lipstick and get 4 or 5 vs 1 $20 lipstick. Purchased off cherryculture.com because NYX is hard to find in Canada. Will repurchase.

I bought a ton of these in the past due to the rave reviews. They are pigmented and there are a ton of colors to choose from but the quality is just not there. They do not last on my lips even if I don't eat/drink. They fade and/or transfer very easily and quickly. Because of that, I don't plan on buying them anymore. They are also drying. Most lip products dry out my lips terribly and these are no different. They would be great for a special occassion or a photoshoot but for every day wear, I don't recommend them unless you want to reapply lipstick every other hour.

I generally love NYX lipsticks, especially the round lipsticks, but the quality changes from color to color. Pink Lyric was very drying and a little difficult to apply evenly but Chaos is creamy and applies perfectly. The color selection is amazing, the payoff is generally great, the prices tend to be amazing and they're easily found.

The online swatches of these lipsticks are all not accurate. I have no idea how they could get it so off and different from the original colour. -.-I had heard many great reviews and raves about this lipstick on youtube and blogs, so i went ahead and bought 8 of them off Cherry Culture. Bad move. One of the biggest flaws of the Round lipsticks are that they do not last at all! After like 30 mins, i felt that it had somehow "evaporated" off my lips. Yes, the colour payoff is great, really creamy and easy to apply. But i really cannot forgive how easily this lipsticks get rubbed off and disappears less than an hour. It also breaks really easily and if you were to place them somewhere a little warmer, it will kinda melt in the tube and becomes all gooey and disgusting. Don't buy it, I would rather get something from Loreal /Revlon

I say, this brand of lipstick has the worst color swatches all over the internet that I've ever seen! It seems like every single color is different no matter which website you go to. Go to Ulta and tea rose is a freakin BROWN color in the tube, google a swatch on someones lips and its a really pretty pastel pink color. Go to NYX site, and all of them are so misrepresented its like wtf?? Sunflower is a burgundy color on the site, yet mine is a very bright reddish color. Whatever. I'm done seeing swatches, I guess I'll have to see them in person to really pick good colors. Right now I have indian pink, margarita and sunflower. Each of these look pretty good on me, but I still want to find a nice pink color, as these are more of a corally red orangy on me. Ulta doesn't stock all the colors, they only carry 68, where as the whole collection has 144 colors. I don't like the staying power, its too creamy and get smear too easily but its cheap.

I am not terribly crazy about these lipsticks, but they are alright. I'm just glad that they don't have the same nauseating smell as their pasty, overrated lipglosses. The formula is kind of weird because it's really creamy, extremely creamy. I mean you really have to use a light hand for the application otherwise they will run and bleed all over your lips even with a lipliner. When I apply these I blot the color on my lips very carefully, because they also have a tendency to sink into your liplines, particularly if you put on just a little too much. The only one I currently have is "Phoebe" (I've since thrown the other two that I purchased and reviewed straight into the trash). "Phoebe" is a dark brown lipstick. I love dark brown lipsticks, they are my favorite. "Phoebe" is the right kind of chocolate dark brown without being a heavy dark almost black brown. It's a lovely color. But you have to use just a little because it's a dark brown, not a nude at all. Whenever I wear it, I only apply it to my top lip, because I have learned that putting it on both lips makes it look too dark and muddy. So I just put it on my top lip and dab a tiny swipe of "Bare Mint" lip gloss by C.O Bigelow (which can be found at BBW) on my bottom lip. I rub my lips together very easily as not to smear the lipstick (because it can smear badly) and the two fit together like a perfect marriage of color. The only reason that I use the Bare Mint which is a sheer brown lipgloss instead of my usual clear gloss is because the sheer brown helps to lighten up the brown lipstick. I don't reach for Phoebe all of the time as I did when I first purchased it, but overall it is a good color. I would purchase again only if NYX changed their formula somewhat and didn't make their lipsticks so creamy. It's also a pain in the butt to have that kind of formula because they can melt quickly if put into the wrong temperature.

Very inexpensive and a decent (but by no means HG) formulation. Mattes are creamy and easy to apply - not terribly drying (but not ultra moisturizing either). A middle-of-the-road lipstick in a good variety of shades. Good value for the (cheap) price.

I have tried three different lines of lipsticks by NYX (plus one lip stain called the ''Tinted lip spa'').
The Black label lipsticks are my favorite, they cost about 6 dollars online but probably a few dollars more in stores. I only have one color which is ''Orchid'' but from the packaging to the product itself this lipstick is excellent. It is extremely pigmented, creamy, non drying and quite long lasting. I plan to purchase many more shades.
My second favorite are the Round lipsticks, they have a weird lemon-y scent that I don't really like but the color selection is incredible, plus they are creamy, quite pigmented, easy to wear and very very cheap (2 dollars online). I have about 10 shades and some are really as good as high priced lipsticks (Louisiana, Fig) and others are fun to play with. The packaging isn't bad either. The biggest problem besides the scent is that most have a shiny/pearly finish which I don't really like, I prefer glossy or matte and you won't find many like that here.
The Matte lipsticks are quite nice as well, the pigmentation is amazing but they are too drying on my lips and not comfortable to wear at all. I have two shades but I will not buy any more. The shade selection is quite nice though.
I also have a Tinted lip spa ''lip stain'' but the minty/herbal scent bothers me too much to wear it on a daily basis. It is surprisingly pigmented and it is very moisturizing, almost bordering on greasy (which I kind of like).
I haven't tried the Diamond sparkle lipsticks but I plan to purchase at least one.
Overall these are definitely worth your money, I don't like the matte lipsticks because other cheap brands like WnW make better ones but I know lots of other people do.

Gross taste!!! I bought one in the shade Heather, which was a beautiful colour. I literally could not wear it because of the horrible taste! After having it on for only a few minutes, I had to completely remove it. I have never experienced this with any other lipsticks or lipglosses. Anyone who can wear this must not have taste buds. I read the ingredients and it says "fragrance". Its like they must have added actual perfume instead of flavouring appropriate for a lip product, as the lipstick tastes like you are drinking perfume or eating scented soap. I have a couple of the NYX Jumbo Lip Pencils and they are fine, but they do not have "fragrance" listed in the ingredients (I checked).

I do like the variety of colors, however the product does not last long on my lips at all. A half an hour if that. I would reccomend the cream lipstick because of the price. It gives you a chance to try diffrent shades and build you collection.

I bought about 6 NYX lipsticks off of ebay, and they were very cheap. Although I've heard they are even cheaper to buy in stores (2 dollars or so) but I couldn't find any.
Anyway, the lipsticks were great! There is so much variety and the colours and vibrant and beautiful. There are so many different shades of pink (My favourite lipstick colour). The consistancy of the lipsticks were great, they were very smooth and non-sticky or oily-feeling. They last fairly long as well, I'd say about 4+ hours... then you need to re-apply.
Amazing product! The only downfall is that in the heat the lipsticks melt, and sometimes when putting it on (I don't use a brush or my fingers, I probably should) I sometimes get a bit more product on my lips than I wanted, making my lips look very vivid in colour.

This review is for the "Round Lipsticks" - I only own 6 Round Lipsticks, but I definitely want to build my collection. These are really great lipsticks... and really inexpensive. They have an amazing range of colors, great pigmentation, you get a great amount of product, and the lipstick in general is very nice. They are very creamy, and don't dry out your lips, and the pigmentation is ALWAYS great! My only complaint about these lipsticks is that they can sometimes be a little too creamy. When I put them on, sometimes it looks like I have grease on my lips, which I obviously don't like. That also I believe, is the reason that they break VERY easily. However, after blotting a bit, and using it with a very light hand, and sometimes a lip brush... it works great. Now, the packaging however... I don't like. The tube itself is fine, it works like any other lipstick tube. The design is cute, but simple, and I like that you can see the color in the bottom. However... I have found that if you try to store these lipsticks lying down on their side, the lipstick itself actually starts to lean that direction, and then when you try to twist it out to use it, it scrapes against the side of the tube, ruins the lipstick, and it gets all over. So, I don't know if that is again, because they are super creamy, or because... well... I don't know any other reason. But I do know that it drives me insane! All in all however, these are very good lipsticks. They just need some minor changes. :]

I know they are really cheap, but they aren't cheap enough. Like these need to be $1.00! They don't last long at all. For me, less than an hour! I love the colors they have but they aren't worth it. I gave them an overall rating of 2 just because they do have some really pretty colors.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Dry, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brunette, Straight, Fine Eyes: Brown
My favorite color is Pumpkin Pie, and own several of these. The problem with them for me is that they don't last more then 1/2 hour on me. Otherwise the color selection and packaging are great.

I got three colors of Nyx Round Lipsick in circe, rea andr mute. I decided to give them a try after having read many good reviews about Nyx lipsticks and because the were exactly the shades i'd been searching for. What can i say?..well, the shades are nice and you don't need to apply to many layers on your lips to get the desired color. However, and this is the reason why i'm glad i only got 3 of them, the smell is TERRIBLE!. On top of that, they are super greasy..and i feel so unconfortable wearing them on my lips. Will not repurchase, for sure.
