I love this product! My cuticles have been horrible for years, despite using lotions and oils specifically designed for nails and cuticles. I have always had great nails and kept them constantly polished, but in the past year they've been splitting and peeling. I now smooth and buff my nails, and apply OPI Avoplex at night, before I go to sleep, and my nails have never been better. Stronger, healthier looking and finally growing again. I wear surgical gloves all day at work with strong surgical alcohol-based lotion under the gloves, and only since using this product have I been able to get my nails to grow again. Be consistent, apply to bare nails when you aren't going to be washing your hands, and in a couple of months you will notice results. It lasts a very long time because a little goes a long way, and I would certainly buy it again and at any price because I know it works and the money spent is worth it. I've wasted lots of money on cheaper products that just don't work. BTW, I don't use OPI nail polish, I don't think that's worth the money. I can do a manicure that lasts (until I get bored with the colour or it starts to grow out) with other less-expensive polishes.

I really like this product. It smells lovely and feels nice to apply. I use only a tiny amount every morning and evening. My hands are very problematic as I'm a rower and constantly expose them to cold, wet and friction! I use this product on the calluses I get from rowing as well and it keeps them from cracking.

This is just okay for me. It smells nice. The bottle (at least for me and I use it 2x/day) has lasted for a long time (maybe 9 months-ish? and it is still over 1/2 full) I have used other cuticle treatments before (Avon and Sally Hanson) that did a better job. The oil does go on greasy (durrr, as most oils do) and I do find that if I rub it in well the greasiness subsides after a few minutes and then it doesn't bother me. I got this particular OPI thing as a gift, but I love OPI and have several polishes, so I know the price range. I am probably not gonna spend the extra money on this when it's gone. But it's fine to use until then.

I purchased the Avoplex cuticle oil by OPI in a two for one package. I expected the treatment to smell strong and I was definitely surprised because the scent is so lovely! That being said, I find this product to do exactly what it's meant to do although I do recommend to soak your nails in hot water prior to using the treatment so your skin is extra soft!

I give my hands a lot of abuse (working in lab, wearing gloves all day, cooking, drumming, gardening etc) so needless to say cuticles are my enemy. This product my sister swears by it and sort of made me buy it when we went shopping. Personally I don't think it's as magical as my sister claims. It absorbs slowly, it feels greasy, and the effect is not very noticeable unless you use it everyday. I do really like the smell though!

Having recently taken up rock climbing in a cold climate with very dry air, my cuticles, which were never a problem before, quickly became shredded and torn and skin also began to peel away in small strips a few milimetres below the cuticle (painful AND unsightly).
Using Avoplex Oil twice daily (for only two days so far) has already healed the torn skin and has softened my cuticles so that they are no longer dry, hard and white with obvious tears in them. My cuticles lie flat and are barely noticable - I can't wait to start painting my nails again :)
Highly effective product with a light, pleasant fragrance. Certainly on the pricey side, but can be used sparingly once initial problems are addressed.

This is one of my favorite products ever and I've been using it for years. As I wear medical gloves every day my hands tend to get very dry and damaged and this oil is a savior! It doesn't work only while it's on like most similar products do, it leaves skin looking healthy for a long time. It absorbs whithing ten minutes and smells neutraly. They should however work on a different packaging because once the bottle is almost finished it's hard to get to the rest of it with the brush (I'm talking about a larger size packaging, never had a small one).

This didn't do anything for me, except make my fingers and nails oily. It never absorbed at all, and I didn't notice any difference in my cuticles.

I have been using this for about 10 years. My manicurist put it on to keep from getting knicks while my nails are wet. It is alittle pricey so when I get low I add olive or emu oil to it.

I've used this for years. Despite never being totally thrilled with it, I always come back after attempting other products because it works well enough. It does moisturize well, though I've never noticed any long-term benefits to nails or cuticles. Mostly, I've used to cap-off a manicure, or to do a quick hit of moisture while I'm parked on the couch since it stays greasy for a pretty long while, even after massage, and as soon as it's all absorbed I feel like I get a bit of rebound dryness. It never makes my cuticles soft. If you like cuticle oil, I think this is a decent one; what I've discovered is that, apparently, I'm not a big fan and instead prefer an emollient cream like Orly Cuticle Care. So I will not be repurchasing, henceforth, though I do thank it for years of reasonable service and would still recommend it to anyone specifically looking to audition an oil.

This oil is just OK - and barley at that. I find it kind of dries my cuticles out and i need to reapply v often. Prefer Solar Oil by a long shot!

I love this cuticle oil, it works well and smells nice. :) The only thing is after I got down to the bottom of the bottle, the bottle wouldn't close! The oil got into the cap and would keep twisting open. I just bought a bigger bottle of this!

Let me say I'm not wild about the smell, but I can live with it.
I think this is a great oil. It absorbs well. It's not too messy to apply.
It's expensive for what it is though!

I'm very surprised at the negative feedback. I really like this stuff, I even bought the smaller to go tube to throw into my purse so I can apply on the go. I wear alot of polish and I feel like that makes my nails dry out so when I give them a break I rub this oil on my nails and it makes them shiny and healthy looking. I cannot begin to say what it has done for my cuticles! I love how soft and non-cracked they have become. The the only drawback for me is that I have to apply 2 x a day for it to really work and sometimes I just don't have a chance to.

I thought this was a great cuticle oil. I've actually almost finished my first bottle. But I can't help noticing every time I apply this it makes my cuticles hard and they stick up, instead of making them smooth and moisturised. I'm very disappointed, as I usually like OPI products. Funnily enough, I don't use a cuticle 'oil' per-se anymore- my cuticles are AMAZING at the moment and it's thanks to the Vitamin E Hand and Nail treatment from The Body Shop! Who would've thought! I always thought a hand and nail cream wouldn't give me that result and that I'd always have to use a seperate cuticle oil, but well...one less product I have to buy! It does my hands and cuticles in one! So as much as I used to like OPI, I won't be repurchasing this one.

I LOVE this stuff! I've been using it for a few weeks and my cuticles have been smooth and moisturized for the first time ever. It has a nice consistency, not too thin, not too thick. I adore the smell, it's sort of sweet and fresh. Very light and clean smelling too. The bottle makes it look like nailpolish so I often apply it during class when I'm bored and it's a little too obvious, so I don't like that. But yeah, great stuff, will purchase when I run out -- though I only use 1 dip in the bottle for each hand (so like 1 drop?) and I think it will last months.

I've never tried a cuticle oil before so I wasn't sure what to expect or what results to expect long term. I try to use this 2x a day like the instructions dictate. The oil rubs in nicely and I haven't had any problems with my cuticles, they seem very moisturized and there haven't been any peels on them or cracks. I don't think it's done anything for my nails, but since I've only been using it for 1 month the effect on my nails might take awhile longer to see.
Update: I've been using this for a few months now and can't believe how my nails have stopped peeling as much. So that is great especially going into the crazy hand washing, cold weather winter. However the application is a pain in the butt. It takes forever to sink in even if you rub it so I only use it once at night.

I received this as a gift with purchase but am enjoying it. I like the brush applicator. I also like the fact that it is loaded with oils but isn't oily when applied. It feels more like an aloe vera type gel. I brush it on and let it soak and after a few minutes, massage the remaining amounts into my cuticles. I will purchase again when I run out.
