This is the first time I have bought a a Marcelle skin care product and it will be the last.
I've used up almost the whole bottle and it doesn't come close to fulfilling any of its claims. It doesn't lighten dark circles (although I don't think any eye creams actually do) or reduce fine lines.
It also burns when I put it on under my eyes and doesn't hydritate well.
Finally, the product doesn't last long. You need to use quite a bit. This has only lasted me a little over a month. So even though it's only around $20, you're better off buying something more expensive that is going to last 2 or 3 months.

This is a great eye cream for younger girls who want to take care of their eyes but don't need an eye cream designed for wrinkles or anything yet. The packaging is great- the pump dispenses very nicely and it is easy to get only the amount of product you want out of it, even a tiny drop! Also, my makeup applies wonderfully over this eye cream. For $18, I would definitely recommend and repurchase this eye cream!

Better than I expected for a cheaper eye cream than I usually use. It looks like it actually does help with puffiness. And the crepey lines aren't so prominant. It's moisturizing enough for my dry eyes and not greasy or heavy--works great with makeup. I also love the dispenser--perfect amount comes out and very sanitary. Overall, my eyes look brighter and moisturized.

I have been using this eye treatment for over 6 months and I would definitely buy again. I have noticed my dark circles slightly diminished and the area is smoother. I can apply my concealer soon after I apply this eye gel and it is not heavy or oily. My eye area just seems brighter. I also love that it is easily available in Canada!!

This is now my favorite eye cream. I've been using it for a couple of months now, and it's helped my under-eye area so much. I was having problems with puffiness and crepey skin under my eyes. I was using a very expensive under-eye treatment that wasn't doing a thing for me. I decided to try this after reading the reviews and seeing how inexpensive it was. I'm glad I did. It really helps with puffiness and it really seems to moisturize well. Fine lines are almost totally gone when I'm using the cream. They do creep back in if I don't use it for a few days.
There may be drugstore brands available in the US that work as well, but I haven't found them yet. The only problem is, this is hard to find if you don't live in Canada. Sometimes it's available on eBay, but not always, so I have to keep an eye out for it.

I have tried so many eye creams to keep the delicate skin under my eyes hydrated and have spent a small fortune on expensive products. A beautician recommended this one to me while shopping at the pharmacy and I have now purchased it twice. It's very hydrating, has a lovely smooth consistency and definitely seems more effective than other more expensive products that I have tried. I will continue to purchase this eye cream.

well, like other reviewers have said, it's the perfect consistency. and awesome packaging. very hygenic. one pump is exactly what i need for both eyes.
i didnt really notice any drastic improvements around my eye areas though other than that it's a bit better moisturized. so one lippy off. but i think it's a great eye cream for the price. would purchase again (but i might want to try more expensive brands next time to see if it improves the look around my eyes)

I found this was a nice gentle concealer but it ddint really do anything for me. It moisturized the eye area but thats about it I have sensitive skin and didnt react to it so im happy about that - other than that it didnt lighten up the eye area.

I am 53 & have dry skin, so I love this stuff! Love the pump bottle; love the consistency; love the creaminess - unlike some dry anti-aging stuff I've tried. Very reasonable price. It plumps up & brightens the under-eye, and seems to reduce the droop above the eye. Similar to, but cheaper than the high-end "Occitane - l'Immortelle". Also easier to find! More sanitary than the large dip-your-finger-in DHC jar. (DHC from Japan...) Less dry than the Retinol anti-aging like RoC or Avon or NeoStrata.

When I purchased this eye cream I was looking for an inexpensive option to replace my Clinique's All about Eyes that had run out. I was familiar with Marcelle's products and used them contentedly throughout high school before being "persuaded" by the power of Clinique and EL "Bonus Time" later on.
Unfortunately, I was thoroughly disappointed with my new eye cream replacement. The price was fine ($20), and the little pump bottle easy to use and store (although nothing flashy). My dislike of this product came from my personal experience with it. I remember using it for the first time and getting a painful stinging feeling on the skin around my eyes. I figured that it could have been the vitamin C or E maybe working its magic...so I continued using the product with my fingers crossed. The stinging feeling did not going away. I was surprised that a hypo-allergenic product could irritate my skin so much. If anything it increased the redness and dryness around my eyes. Hydra-C ComplexE Eye Contour Gel-Cream did nothing to reduce puffiness, dark circles, or fine lines for me. Not only did the product not live up my expectations, but it also took forever for it to absorb properly following the tapping motion and left this film under my eyes.
Everyone has different experiences with face products, so what may work for one, may not for another. That being said, this eye cream did not work for me. I'd like to think that there is something comparable to Clinque's All About Eyes at a more affordable price, but I will probably wait for a Bonus Time and splurge on it once again if I can't seem to find one in the meantime.

Very good eye cream! It reminded of a rare European Swiss brand I adored until it was discontinued. The combination of Vitamin E and C is wonderful on the eyes, moisturizes while brightening. it's gentle enough for my skin and it's made in Canada.

This is my HG eye area moisturizer. I've tried a few other drug store brands, clinique and a few HE brands. Before this I had been using just vit E oil but this absorbs much better and actually makes a noticable difference when it comes to the fine lines associated with dryness, puffiness, and dark circles. If I forget to put this on I notice it all day especially if Im low on sleep. The consistency is perfect, it's very gentle and I highly recommend it! This is something I always used to pass over in the drugstore until I got a sample with purchase, now there is no turning back!

I really like this stuff. I never used to use a specific eye cream; always just put my facial moisturizer on my eyelids. Last weekend I sunburnt my face really badly, and my eyelids were the last to heal - still super dry, and no amount of moisturizer would keep them from flaking. Following the great reviews Marcelle products were receiving, I went out and bought a bunch of stuff. This eye gel has done the trick. It's only been a few days and the flakes are gone. Perfect consistancy, no stinging; and I have really sensitive eyelids too. Great stuff!

One of these lasts me about 6 months. I really like this and it feels nice on my eyes. It also reduces puffiness and dark circles and I use this to prevent wrinkles :D

Love this eye cream!
Not too thick, and not too runny... perfect consistency. Love packaging that you don't have to dip your finger into, and 1 pump is the perfect amount to cover both eyes.
I don't really have wrinkles or puffiness, just a bit of dark circles sometimes and I find this does lighten them up a bit.
Also leaves a moisturized feeling but not too heavy with a matte finish perfect as an eyeshadow base. Doesn't make eye makeup slide off and crease.
I've tried Clinique All About Eyes and it was too thick and heavy for me, LUSH's eye cream too runny, Nivea's made my eyes itch, Olay was just ok...
I thought it was a little pricey at first, but you only use a small amount, so I'd put it in the medium price range seeing on how I'm going through it now.
So in a nutshell... this one's a keeper!

It made my eyes burn. I realized this even more so after switching to more natural eye creams. It hurt a lot and felt like my eyes were stinging, and I wasn't even putting it that close to the eye. Anyone else have this problem?

Over the last couple months the dark circles and puffiness under my eyes have become unbearable. I've tried multiple concealers and nothing seems to provide adequate coverage. I decided to try an eye cream. I have no lines and most creams are targeted for this concern. I finally found Marcelle's contour cream, and I just love it. I've been using it for just over a week, and have noticed quite a difference. I don't know how some people think this doesn't work on dark circles, because it definetly does for me. My eyes appear brighter and I look refreshed and awake. I still have the dark circles, but day by day they seem to diminish slightly. The bottle is small and perfect for travel, and one pump dispenses enough lotion for both eyes. One bonus I loved was I had a dry spot under my eye that I've tried to clear up for over a month, and within 3 days, Marcelle took care of it. Overall, great product, and I will continue to use where I'm sure I will see results.

This is the first eye cream that i am trying, and so far, I am quite happy with it :) I only bought this recently, but so far, i feel really comfortable with this product. When it comes to any product related to the eyes, I always feel scared about things causing irritation, but I find this cream to be really simple, gentle, and i'm glad that it's fragrance-free. I find that it is a good cream for simple and light moisturizing of the eye area. I really luv the little bottle that it comes in because it keeps everything clean and simple; all you have to do is press and just enough product comes out of it. I had a good feeling about this even before buying it, and I am relieved that this has not been a disappointment (unlike many other items I got in the same week ! lol) I'm thankful that i thought to consider Marcelle for a light and simple cream. I will update, but so far, it's working out well :) Edit: **I'm still using this (it has been almost a year now), and I still really like it!

I am on my second bottle of this, I like it for day use. It absorbs fast and doesn't ball up under my concealer. Only use it in the morning, then use a heavy eye cream from Lancome before bed.
