LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. My #1 lip balm!
I've gone through about four pots not including all the other colors I've tried. A pot with constant use (five applications a day...or more. I'm a lipbalm addict) will last you about 5 months perhaps. And for twenty bucks I think that's a pretty good deal. It's a high quality lipbalm. You get what you pay for!
Soothing biege is mostly clear but it does have a hint of brown. I love to put this over my lipstains to tone down the color or make it more "darker" rather than "brighter". It's shiny. And the lipbalm can last up to three hours usually two hours. Obviously it will disappear if you eat or drink but application is simple. Recently I have put my balm into a sample size smaller container (more portable and fits better in my pocket) plus incase I lose it I don't have to go out and buy a whole other one and for sanitary reasons (Kind of scary not knowing what goes into when you dip your finger into it). Nice to know it gets cleaned every once in a while when I finish the smaller container. Anyway, just a hint of caramal color. I wish there was more pigment in it...my only wish otherwise i love it! I will continue to use it and have used it the past three years since i discovered it. I always came back to this one <3. I have also gotten compliments wearing this. However, I feel on my unpigmented lips it doesn't look nice on me unless I have a stain underneath. I ALWAYS need color on my lips. I prefer natural color and soothing biege has the perfect finish.

I am impressed with how long this product lasts on your lips. I applied it for the first time 2 days ago - I went a little heavy handed because I wanted to see a bit of colour on my lips.
The product itself goes on nicely. I am used to lip balms being either too hard (you have to use a fingernail to "break in") or too greasy (like Vaseline). this product, however, is really easy to apply.
Another nice surprise was the lasting power. It lasts for hours (if you don't eat). I am used to having to reapply my lip balm/Vaseline every half hour or so. This is not the case with the lip conditioner. It lasts and lasts, which means you use less product and won't have to re-purchase every two months.
However, when the product did wear off, I found my lips to be quite dry and in desperate need of moisture.

I like the packaging a lot. It's sleek and elegant.
I probably would buy again - it's better than any lip balm I have used so far. Not too greasy or oily and looks nice on the lips.

Love the scent, the sheer color and the SPF15 but this product disappears off myr lips pretty fast. I was pretty tired of having to re-apply it multiple times during the day. It also felt like it 'sat' on top of my lips and didn't really moisturize and that is probably the case since it disappeared off my lips almost as soon as I applied it. Will not repurchase

As the person before me reviewed, I'd also prefer my lip balm un-jarred, prefereably in a swivel tube or something similar. But I recently purchased Soothing Beige and I'm liking it so far. My lips aren't chapping anyway.

I was at first hesitant because there's petrolatum in these items but MAC also put in shea butter, murumuru butter which is new to me anyway, and I think jojoba oil which is what they put in the lipglasses as well.

I think next time I'll try Fuschia Fix if it's still around. It's a shame they got rid of that Gentle Coral one.

This is a tinted lip balm that comes in a jar. I'm not a huge fan of jared lip balls but I heard some really good things about it so I decided to try it out. I'm happy to say that I was not disappointed. This product really moisturizes my lips without feeling heavy, thick, or greasy. I put it on at night to keep my lips hydrated and during the day if my lips start to feel dry. The color is very sheer but still noticeable. I think that this is a fantastic product and I will definately be repurchasing it.

Let me say right off that I am a lip balm/conditioner/tint addict.I have tried and will continue to try as many as I possibly can. I love the way this lip conditioner feels! It is smooth and creamy and very conditioning! On me the color is sheer nude (I am NW45). It has a sweet caramel smell and taste. It is pricey but you get alot of product so that makes it worth it.

A wonderfull shade. In the pan much plainer and browner than on the lips. I am a lipstick hater. I`m ultra-pale and almost every lip colour looks artificial on me. Moreover I don`t like the ado you have with reapplication all day long. This tinted lip balm is an excellent option. Absolutely natural result. It merges with your lip colour, enhances it subtly. The formula is rich and buttery. There is no flaking effect. Perfect for polished nude-make-up-styles. At that the pot seems to last an eternity. My only complaint is that the colour isn`t very longlasting but as you need no mirror for application and can use it like a lip balm that doesn`t pose a problem.

Great shher hint of colour, mega moisturising, SPF15 is a def advantage. I have quite full lips so try to keep them from overtaking my face with coating them in nice but more muted shades. this is def on my re-purchase list. I use the MAC lip brush 316 to apply and it gives a perfect even coverage. two enthusiastic thumbs up from me.

I've been wanting this one for a while so I finally ordered it after reading all of the hype about it. I'm glad I did purchase this one. It smells amazing (like vanilla), and it has a slight taste to it (fruity). There is really no color to this, only a slight tint, but I knew that prior to purchasing it, so that's okay with me. It leaves my lips fully conditioned, so I know this should work for me during those cold winter months. It comes in a pot, so I'm tempted to put my finger into it to apply it.

This is a subtle colour that gives me a glam but understated look.
It’s very dark in the pot but it gives sheer coverage on my pigmented lips.
My lipline is uneven and I usually stay away from browns but this is a great shade with minimal colour payoff and I think I will repurchase.

I am MAC NC40 for reference and I happen to have VERY red pigmented lips.

This goes on very sheer people, a very tiny hint of color you can't even really tell. It's perfect when you are going for that no-makeup look. The lasting power is amazing and it really does condition your lips.

I had this forever and this can last you a very long time. It's not sticky nor is it waxy.

This smells like vanilla ice cream, and it even has spf15 which gives me more reasons to buy it again!

I'm addicted to the lip treatments, I admit it. Of the three I have purchased in the last two weeks this one is my favorite!! I adore MAC's Corsette Lipglass & this balm is pretty much the light version, the day or weekend version if you will. Yes it looks like poo in the pot - but none of these balms look great in the pot but they all look great on - fear not. This beige has some a little plum brown & earthy tones - good depth for a balm. It looks fantastic on & will be a summer necessity along with Popster. I can throw on a little powder and either one of these on the lips & be ready for the beach!

I am very surprised that this colour is not as popular as the other ones. Apparently people think it's dark.. Anyone who has ANY sheer lipstick or lip gloss experience will know that this will obviously not show up brown on your lips. You would wish it has that much pigmentation... Anyway I am very happy with my purchase. This is a milk chocolate colour in the pot, and as all sheer milky brown colours, it shows up kind of a warm red on lips with a natural moist sheen to it. Not red, it just emphasized your own lip colour, so a good YLBB colour. Definitely not beige and definitely not brown. It is very natural and beautiful, makes lips look soft and supple. I actually got this stuff as a present in Gental coral about 3 years ago, when it was still in that pot with the white lid. I hated it because it dried out my lips. But I swear they re-formulated it. Now it is very moisturizing, soothing, and VERY SMOOTH when you apply it. Lasting power is good, has SPF 15 (vital to me!!!) and the pot is much sleeker-looking now too. It has a vanilla scent, and it tastes sweet! That was a pleasant surprise! I would recommend this to everyone, even if you have ghosty pale skin like me, it will look moist and pretty!

I love this lip balm in general and this color is one I usually wouldn't pick. I love doing a really sheer application for just a little punch of color and I extra love putting this over a really bright color to tone it down a bit. So happy with this purchase. Really moisturizing and absorbs well. Not too shiny, just really healthy and moist lips. The color lasts well, I think. I wish it were in a tube, though, for sanitary reasons.

As a fellow fuller-lipped lady, I've recently begun studying the lippie choices of a certain actress/humanitarian/mother of a busload. I would say this is appropriate for "walking through the French Quarter letting the kids eat Zapp's Chips" as opposed to "UN press junket." Moist without being goopy or glossy, just a hint of beige-y brown color, and that great MAC vanilla smell. I found it to be long lasting (I am balm challenged -- inferior quality causes my lips to crack and peel within minutes) and very moisturizing. I wish it were in a stick rather than a pot, because of the tint. Otherwise, a must-have for a clean pared-down face.

This is a great go to item when you dont feel like puttin anythin on ur lips but u want a little color. With my skintone( I am a C6) it give me a nice sheer brownish color. It feels fantastic on the lips also and smells really good. This is one item I keep in my purse at all times. And this actually made me want to try other TLC's.

I love this. I don't really wear it anymore because I have way to many things to choose from. Hehe...It goes on so smooth & makes my lips feel so moisturized. For reference I am an NW-50. This provides a nice sheer nude touch of color.

The color of this lip conditioner works beautifully on my lips. The texture is amazing and it does a wonderful job at moisturizing my lips. Some people may complain about the high price but honestly, you get what you pay for. I will definitely purchase this again because it gives me perfect glossy somewhat nude lips. The product also has a really nice subtle vanilla scent to it. I have this in Fuchsia Fix and Gentle Coral too.

This is my go-to when I want a quick kissable nude lip with minimal fuss. Smells good. Tastes okay. A GREAT lip conditioner. Some have commented on "flaking" lips. On me at least I have noticed that my lips are not "flaking" but the dry skin (that is dead) is becoming pliable enough to remove. A quick brushing with a toothbrush will remedy that problem. Hope you ladies enjoy.
