I don't know why others don't like this color. I actually quite like Loyalty Island Lilac. In the bottle, it looks off white/grey color and a bit boring. But once I put it on my nails, I love it. Under certain lights it does look grey/lilac/off white with shimmer and you need 3 coats to get the color right. But under different lights, it looks grey but I quite like it as it compliments my olive skin tone. I wear a lilac sort of top with some nice pinky/purple eye shawdow and just look beautiful. It may not be a contemporary color but I quite like it. I still give it a rating of 4 to 4 1/2. The only down side is the bottle looks a bit old.

I bought this at TJ Maxx for .99 cents. I loved the color for a real long time. Its not my go to color anymore but its quite nice.

Its a frost finish and you need two to three coats to get the lilac effect. I think its quite pretty because the shimmers look nice in the light.

I dont recomend this product anymore because its a very old color and paying $15 bucks on Ebay is not worth it.

Looks prettier in the bottle, you can see the purple / lilac in the bottle, but once I had it on my nails it looked so plain... maybe it's my skin tone (very light skinned, cool toned). I am crazy about OPI, but this one is thumbs down for me :(

Even though this is a lilac, it's not really pretty. It's too greyish and muted, a little dirty-looking for my taste. Otherwise excellent quality if you like the colour.

Hmmm, I read a few reviews before posting mine and mine is definitely not sheer or semi-sheer. It is completely opaque in 2 coats. Anyway, its a very light lavender (almost has a grey tinge), with slight frost. It looks better on the nail than it does in the bottle IMO. Its a keeper :)

It's so pretty in the bottle-a nice soft lilac with light shimmer, definitely not matte. On me, it's not quite as pretty, but it's alright. I love purple/violet, but I have the most difficult time finding a shade that works for me. This particular polish sometimes looks a little dull, sometimes I think it's rather pretty. I'll keep it around-it's good enough.

How is it that I have not reviewed this nail polish? It's my favorite color of all time. I've been wearing it for years and always go back to it no matter what new purchases I have made. It is a gorgeous silvery lilac, very easy to wear and pull off. I prefer it on my fingers rather than my toes. You do need two coats to get the color, and I usually go with three. It makes my nails look polished and sophisticated without looking high-maintenance (no matter how I try, dark colors always look wrong on my fingernails.) I could not live without this, even though generally I am a cosmetics snob and go for mmore high-end brands.

Loyalty Islands Lilac is a pretty, pale pastel lavender that goes on sheerly, but is buildable to semi-opaque. I had this a long while ago and somehow remember it being a creme, but I guess there must have been some subtle shimmer to it! Anyway, it is extraordinarily unflattering on an NC30-35 like me, but on the right person, this could be lovely.

This was my very first OPI nail polish...I bought it not too long ago. I like its bottle, pretty nice and comfortable to handle, but I was not extremely impressed with the quality.I think, for the price range, there are better brands...like China Glaze, for instance. This particular color (Loyalty Island Lilac) is ok..it looks prettier from the outside, when it's still in the bottle..on my nails it looks VERY ordinary and quite dull. Their prices are interesting though...not too expensive and not too cheap either..a balanced price.
I'd probably buy one of these again, but only if there's a color that really really draws my attention.

This is a very sheer lilac color. It's great for natural days but I like polishes with a bit more color. I had to use three coats until I got the color that I wanted.

Semi-sheer and shimmery silvery lilac--very pretty for spring. Definitely innocent and office friendly. I prefer it for manicures.
