So far, this product has given my hair the best "hold". I'm 3a/3b in curls, very long, heavy, low porosity, course and colored every 4 weeks. Works like a charm. No complaints at all. Love the citrus/lavender scent too.

I purchased a 32 oz. container of Rockin' Ringlets. I was a fool to spend $40 (well, $50, including shipping) for what is essentially boiled flax seed mucous mixed with epsom salt. I stored it in a dark, temperate, hallway cabinet, away from the heat and humidity of the bathroom. After three months of use, the gel has gone rancid. It now has that wet-dog smell of mildew. The Island Fantasy fragrance, initially tropical and delicious, has changed over time, becoming sickeningly-sweet and syrupy. The product provides mediocre curl definition and hold, all of which is gone completely by the end of the day.

This product has a great smell that doesn't linger for the entire day after you use the product. It makes my thick and coarse 3a/b hair shiny and well-defined. The rockin' ringlets also plays well with other products with other lines and didn't give me flakes or buildup.

I love love what this product has done to my curls. I, like others, use it in conjunction with Confident Coils. Of the two, this brings out the SHINE!! wowo. I wish I could post a photo of it.
To those who are not fond of the magnesium sulfate used in both products, but have purchased them.. I have heard Darcy's Botanicals Natural Curl Curling Jelly is a great alternative to Confident Coils. Or use a leave-in or hair oil to equal out the possible drying effects from the mag sulfate(basically just epsom salt).
I, personally have had no problem with the mag. sulfate- I use a leave-in before I use the two...but have gone without it and have been just as fine (the two are moisturizing enough for my low porosity hair).
It is definitely worth a try. It brought out my curls in the loveliest of ways... I'm too scared to try KCCC because you cannot use oils or butters before/after using their products..and I am in love with oils and butters! (I use them often, especially on 2nd/3rd day hair)
Ibought my RR in citrus lavender. The Citrus Lavender scent is divine. Definitely more citrus than lavender..the lavender smells like true lavender oil, so don't expect a "soft" French Lavender.

This product rocks! Well, at least in combination with CCSS :-). For some reason I need to use both products for my curls to look good, either product on it's own is not enough.
It's quite runny in consistency so I've had quite a few spillages which is a bit annoying but on the plus side it's so much easier to distribute it through my hair when it's runny. I need to bend my head downwards and scrunch it in, I do that twice and then lift my head up and scrunch in CCSS. Beautiful ringlets every time.
The only negative is that it's so expensive and hard to get. I'm now living in Ireland and have to order it from abroad at exorbitant shipping prices :-(

The first couple of times I tried this, I hated it. It made my hair stringy, lifeless, and curls...less curly. HOWEVER, I gave it another chance recently and am IN LOVE! I realized that much much more product is needed than I used when I first tried it. I now find that for my thin-medium thickness, mid-back length hair, I need to use about 5 - 7 quarter size dollops. The product is very thin, so it seems like a lot, but its really not. Sooo, if you try this product and don't like it again, try it one more time and use much more than you think you need. ...which is ok because its not a super expensive product...especially compared to the Fekkai, Pureology, Halo, Bumble Bumble, etc products that I've tried.

This is the only styling product that whips my fine frizzy mess into soft waves. I apply it to soaking wet hair after rinsing conditioner and then plunk in a microfiber towel or t-shirt. I leave it for 10 minutes before applying some Jessicurl Confident Coils and then re-plunk for about 10 more minutes. Viola! Beachy waves with minimal effort. Yay!

I've just found this product line and it has completely changed my hair. I can't say enough good things. This gives shine and light control, you should use it in combination with the Confident Coils to lock in the curls. If you go to her website there are videos on how to style it, you have to blot your hair and tie it up for a 5 mins or so then just let it air dry and you get really nice curls that last.
Actually I wash it at night and sleep on it wet and somehow it still comes out pretty nice! The best thing is the products don't lose their effectiveness after continual use. I've been using them for about 3 months now and my hair just looks healthier.
This is for curly hair only and be prepared to experiment with amounts, I used 1 puddle of RR and 1/2 puddle of CC. I have just past shoulder length thick hair, between 2A and 3B.

Gah, I really wanted to like this product! I followed the Jessicurl directions, mixed it with gel, used it with Confident Coils, by itself, plopped, air dried - and regardless of technique or method, the result was the same: stringy and lifeless waves. I have thick, 2b hair that can be coaxed into waves fairly well with products using magnesium sulfate but something about Rockin' Ringlets just didn't work for me. I vastly prefer gel + A/G Re:coil.

Normally I don't review products, I just use this site to get everyone's opinion but I feel so strongly about this product I had to review it. THIS IS THE BEST CURL PRODUCT EVER. My HG all the way! I used to keep my naturally curly hair at shoulder length and very layered and I never had any trouble getting pretty curls. I used Bed Head Power Trip gel every day and was happy. Then I decided to try to grow my hair out a little which resulted in of course having to go with less layers and all of a sudden I couldn't get my hair to curl properly. No matter what I used it ended up frizzy. I went to the drugstore once and probably bought every curl gel/creme out there and NOTHING worked. Then I found Jessicurl. My hair is on the finer side -- closer to medium but it needs hold. According to the Jessicurl site I should use the Gelebration Spray which is great too, but I tried a sample of this and was hooked. My curls are in BEAUTIFUL ringlets and sometimes even looks good on the second day!! Everyone has noticed and I'm constantly getting compliments. And my hair is so soft! I'm not losing as much when I comb it out in the shower. Definitely has to be used with Confident Coils but be careful not to use too much of that -- just a small amount is perfect right before you dry it. Ideally I would like more hold but that's what hairspray is for right? HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

i don't love it enough to call this my HG for my thick wavy/curly hair, since it can't be used alone. i have to use confident coils with it to make it work and then my hair does look its best. but after all my sampling of other products, this one (along with cc) does what its supposed to do and i do keep coming back to it.

Rockin' Ringlets ROCKS MY SOCKS. I started using this styling product 10 months ago and I have not stopped (with the exception of trying samples of a couple of Oyin hair styling products). I use it every single day. Price: Almost dirt cheap. It's expensive up front to buy the liter jugs of this stuff, but my liter jug that I bought 9 months ago is still 1/3 full. That means I easily get a year or more worth of product for the $38 price tag. I'm not the only person who has noticed the difference in my curls. My curls are actually CURLS and not frizzbombs! A number of my friends noticed how full and curly and healthy my hair looks and several of them have started using Jessicurl products, too. The only thing I don't like is the scented product version. It gets a weird scent after a while. I bought a smaller size of the scented product and am glad that I got my liter jug unscented - it hasn't had the odd scent-change. This is one of the permanent products in my hair care collection.

:(...I don't even know where to start..This did nothing for my hair except make it hard and crunchy. I followed the instructions to the letter putting a quarter sized dollop in my hand and then scrunching it into my hair. It almost ran off my hands because it is very very slippery. And runny. It kind of feels gross as far as texture goes.
This left my hair extremely crunchy and hard, I cannot even tell you the last time a product did that. It said if it is 'crunchy' to 'scrunch it out'....That did not work as I tried. I felt like I was crunching my strawified hair at that point:( I wouldn't even say it defined my waves anymore than with plain scrunching, no product alone..
I hoped it would get better as it completely dried and it never did. I ended up combing my hair to get the crunch out and applying some Fekkai glossing cream just to get some shine back till I could rewash my hair:( I wouldn't repurchase. Thank goodness this was a sample.

I had such high hopes for this. My curly hair loves a runny gel so I thought this would be perfect. Not so much. It turned my hair into a greasy, stringy mess. I even tried mixing it with other gels and that didn't work either.

Just tried a sample packet - had about 3 applications for me and 2 for my daughter. I found that I didn't need too much to get the right amount of curl definition.
The appearance was a little gross but in exchange for how well it works, I'd say it's a minor point! The main thing is that it does exactly what it is supposed to do...I understand why everyone raves about it
Worked great with Confident Coils.

This is the curl enhancer from the line. The consistency is disgusting - alot like raw egg. I think it works really well though! It is thin and easy to get through your hair and it really seemed to enhance the curl in the bottom layers of my new short haircut. It's not too cheap, but I use very little (about 3 quarter sized puddles, in contrast with the entire handful of gel I used to use). Would repurchase during another shipping special.

This works well for me paired with Confident Coils and Awe Inspiraling Spray for touch-ups. I do recommend using a light gel over the Rockin' Ringlets and Confident Coils as neither provides enough hold - I do live in Florida, though.
My other tips to definitely get a trial kit - it's generous enough to be able to really determine if the products work for you, and then wait for a $5 flat shipping rate from the company and purchase in at least liters - she offers this option fairly often - about quarterly. Also, watch the tutorial videos on the website.

I followed the directions TO THE LETTER. Does not hold up to Houston humidity. I tried it on three different occasions and tried to use more product each time to give it a chance but my hair was a frizz bomb with droopy curls at the end of each day. I like the Confident Coils much better even though that doesn't stand up completely to sweltering humidity. This product would probably work better for someone that lived in a nice sweat free climate. Will not repurchase.

I bought the trial kit and it lasted me about 2 weeks. I have chin length hair. The instructions are easy to understand and the results are priceless! I love this stuff... I use the cleansing cream, too shea conditioner, rockin ringlets, confident coils, and the awe inspiraling spray. Both scents are so devine... I just ordered another set today.
