I have this in the Hinoki scent which doesn't smell all that great. It has a woody pungent smell. Almost an evergreen type thing going on. It really smooths the lips but doesn't quite get in there and moisturize deep down..the moisture will only be short term. You won't notice your lips getting better overtime but there will also not be any adverse effects like what you'd get with most petrolatum based lip moisturizers out there. This balm has wonderful ingredients. It's just good for keeping the lips smooth and protected from the elements. One thing I love about this balm is how it actually leaves my lips looking healthy and pink! I never get that with any other lip balm product. My lips usually look dull and colorless. I really like this and look forward to trying the yuzu flavor.

have this in yuzu. aww. the little baggie it comes in is waaaaay too cute! i love it! at any rate, the balm smells of citrus. very nice. It is very moisturizing! Before i put it on, my lips were drier than dry, but within seconds my lips were soft and hydrated! major rave!

I LOVE this and have it in Yuzu. It tastes like yuzu (a Japanese citrus) as it actually has yuzu extract in it. Also, the camellia oil in it is great for dry skin. Definitely recommend and will definitely repurchase. I've been using it every night and morning lately! (The pouch the yuzu balm comes in is in the shape and color of a persimmon and reminds one of fall!)

Fans of Smith's Rosebud Salve would probably like this product - there are more oils in the ingredients, so the base is more slippery, not sticky. Like the Rosebud Salve, it's an all purpose balm...for lips and other dry areas on the body. For the price and quantity you get, I'd rather buy the Rosebud Salve, but I splurged on Chidorya because of the very cute packaging their balms come in (little handmade fruit-shaped fabric cinch sacks).
