I really like this product. I didn't like it when I purchased it and considered returning it but the color was so great I thought I'd work with it. The key for me was applying lightly and using the spoolie. I go right over the entire brow in one light motion where I want the product and brushing really well ( really well!) afterward. It lightens the look and makes the pencil a little more hair-like in appearance. Maybe it's the color for me but it does work better on me than any other pencil, which I've hated until now because they weren't soft enough to brush well and it always looked as though I, strangely, penciled my brows in (or on). Applying like I do gives a softer, natural look. If dramatic brows are what you're after, this may not be your pencil. I love it now and will definitely repurchase.
EDIT**
I still like this product, the color is great but I found something better...Lots better...Revlon ColorStay Brow Enhancer.

This is a fabulous eyebrow pencil!! I have tried many other brands and this one is probably the best. I have full brows that need a little penciling in and the Warm Brown matches my brows to a T. It is extremely long-wearing, gives definition and looks VERY natural. All brow pencils have to be sharpened on a regular basis- I bought Benefit's and it only lasted a week plus the quality was not as good! Try this ladies, really you will not be disappointed :-)

Jeez, I'm surprised that this product doesn't receive more love here. I'm a die-hard fan of Shu's hard pencil in Seal Brown, but due to the hardness of the Shu pencil, it does take (me) a while to apply it. I still love it, but when I want to save time, I always reach for this Clinique gem in "honey" which is the same ashy, cool-toned brown that Shu offers. The difference, as many have noted, is that this Clinique pencil is super-SOFT! Yes, you have to put it in the freezer for 15 minutes before sharpening it, but then it's a breeze. So yes, that is a minor pain, but if it weren't so soft, it wouldn't work as well as it does. Just takes the lightest amount of pressure & presto - your brows are done & they'll last all day. I really love it.

Generally, I like this product...but on another hand, I don't.

I like it because the pencil gives off a light finish without looking too harsh or too done...but only of you apply it with the LIGHTEST of pressure.

The thing I don't like is that even after you have applied it you still have to shape it little with a brow pencil and powder. So doing that kinda takes away from the benefit of what the pencil can do.

I'm still not done with the product so I'm not sure If I will re-purchase. I'll give it another month.

Another Clinique love or hate product. I love it because the pencil is so soft and the color (honey) is excellent for my colored/highlighted hair. My brows have a nice shape to them but they need some "filling" and a powder is too bold of a statement - even if the powder is light in color. This finishes my eye make-up look without being obvious. If you are looking for a more defined look, try another product. If you are looking for a light touch, this works just fine. But don't skip the step of smoothing the color through the hairs with the brush otherwise you will get the results that some MUAers had with this pencil.

This product was good - average. But not something special. You really need a good pencil sharpner for this product and then it works much better. I like it when my brows "pop" and this brush didn't really create that effect. On the other side the color is really nice and looks natural
I liked the little brush on the end so when you are on the go you don't need to bring an extra brush

As others have pointed out, this pencil is very, very soft. The SA told me it is a "gel". I'm not sure about that. I'm not really price sensitive but I also don't like to waste money. Because of the consistency this will only last me for two months. I've had it for a month now and I'm more than half way through. I'm applying it with a lighter touch and blending more. I really prefer a slightly harder powder based pencil like the ones from Lancome and Marcelle that last for at least 8 months with regular use and blend beautifully.

I've been using this on & off since high school & I've repurchased several times. This is a very waxy pencil, which I love because it provides some hold. It is soft (as many reviews have pointed out); I sharpen it about 1x week & a pencil lasts me a few months. It looks very natural for filling in sparse patches & defining the arch. The spoolie on the end is great for combing and blending the pencil. I'm medium brunette & I use this in "honey". I'm on a hunt to find cheaper durgstore replacements for some items in my stash, but I will definintely come back to this. Overall, great find.

This is so rubbish!!! As some other reviewers have pointed out, it is very soft and needs constant sharpening. The soft texture also makes it very difficult to sharpen because it just melts away and breaks off. As far as application goes, this is just a thick, waxy mess, when you try to brush through it, then it clumps into a paste texture. Absolutely no good whatsoever, save yourself time and $$$$, get Cover Girl's brow and eye makers, you get two great pencils and a sharpener for under $3 instead of a worthless product for $14.

I have been using this product since junior high- I LOVE it! I know that it does have some bad qualities (like the fact that it's far too soft and you have to sharpen it frequently), but I love how natural this looks. It always sticks to the hair rather than my skin. I don't know if it's common among other eye brow pencils to stick to skin because I haven't really tried anything else, but I've seen it so frequently that it has to be fairly common.

My eyebrows are naturally light blonde/invisible, and I've had several people tell me (after seeing me without makeup) that they had no idea I wore anything on my brows- this is the reason I have yet to try anything different.

Unfortunately, I probably won't buy this again when mine runs out because my hair has gotten darker red with age, and Honey is starting to look a little too blonde on me now. Clinique only has this in 2 colors, and the other color is definitely too dark.

This is more like a pencil+wax in one for brows because it helps shape eyebrows with the help of the eyebrow brush at the end. I got this in warm brown and it suited me fine. However, this is soft and requires frequent sharpening and can be a bit clumpy.

I suggest looking at Shu Uemura's Hard Formula Eyebrow Pencil in Seal Brown for a natural look. It's pricey compared to this one but it will last way longer than a lot of eyebrow pencils. The only bad part is that you have to go to their counter so they can re-sharpen it the Shu way. ;P It's worth it though because you rarely ever need to sharpen it.

Just repurchased this in warm brown today after I ran out of my first one.I love this product. The colors suit anyone (it also comes in Honey) and the brow brush it comes with is great. This leaves my brows looking defined but not overdone. The only bad thing about this product is that it does need constant resharpening, but this is onlybecausethe product is quite soft/ creamy (for easy application).

This product is too waxy, too soft (needs constant resharpening), glues my brows with some pasty-like substance, looks too ashy and I won't get it again

Truth be told, I ended up purchasing this after I attempted to buy other brow pencils from other brands but had always left empty handed because they never had my color. When I finally came across Clinique's, I was thrilled to have anything and my expectations were quite low. I was so happily suprised with this product that I'm glad that somehow I was led to the Clinique one.

The color is perfect for my blonde ppp complexion. My brows are still a bit ashen and require some warming but not too much. The shade the SA picked out is Honey and it blends so well. There is no indication of any pencil between my brow hairs at all. I love the 2 sided brush and pencil. The pencil is soft I do need to sharpen it more frequently than I'm used to. I don't mind though because the application is so smooth and natural and the gel really works all day long.

I love this product and I'm finding a love for Clinique-a company I discounted because it reminded me of the tired 3 step skin program. I've now realized that they have a great selection of modern products and colors. Check these pencils out!

I purchased this brow pencil when I lost my beloved Chanel brow pencil, that I'd had for over 3 years. The Clinique pencil is very soft and you have to constantly sharpen it, which I don't like. The first time I used it, I ended up looking like Groucho Marx because I used too much, not realizing it, because a little goes a long way. I won't repurchase because I have to resharpen too often and I'll use this up within a couple of months.

I have yet to find another product that does as good a job as this one. The light taupe shade is perfect - not too reddish, nor too grey - for filling in my pale blonde brows and giving them a little shape. A swipe with the brush on the end of the pencil and everything is nicely blended. It couldn't be simpler. Sharpen this frequently (try putting it in the freezer beforehand) and use a light hand when applying for best results. Not one of the most glamorous products for brows out there, but it works!

worst brow pencil ever manufactured. This is advertised as a pencil that can be sharpened but, it does not sharpen well. When you use the pencil, it quickly melts away before you are finnished with one brow. It melts into a messy line almost like a crayon left in the sun to melt. I cannot reccomend this to anyone for any circumstance at all. Unless you want smeary looking brows that look like kindergarten pictures, dont buy this.

This products has been my first experience with brow powder. It works great and looks natural. I have medium brown hair and somewhat olive skin so "shaping taupe" worked well. The brush also works nice considering it's just a cheapo that comes with the compact. I travel alot so this is really portable. I love it.

This is one of the beauty products that I always use. Rarely do I purchase something twice, but I've bought this a ton of times. They have the perfect color for my blonde hair with darker brows, and it goes on smooth and NEVER looks fake or harsh, and one pencil lasts a long time. A definite winner.

This is my HG brow filler. I am a brunette, but find brunette pencils too dark, so I use "honey". This has been a staple for me since it first hit the shelves, so to speak. I prefer it to Clinique's superfine and Origins version of the same. You also get more product for the price in this version. It provides a completely natural look and does not apply overly waxy. Rave! Rave!
