I was at Ulta one day and saw one of these minis at the check-out for only $10. Since I have heard so many great things about the Tarte cheekstains, I had to buy it. I am very impressed! It gives you a nice, natural, healthy flush. The shade that I have is called "The Perfect Pink" and it's just a light, rosy pink shade. It smells yummy too - like lemon cake! The staying power is great and it doesn't break me out or irritate my skin.

I bought the Tarte "Ring it in" cheek stain set with three minis (vivid, luster, and flawless). They look adorable and so chic with their gold packaging. So far i've only tried flawless. I apply it directly to my cheek and blend it out with my finger, and i usually put a bit of a powder blush over it. I love it! It stays on all day and gives me great color. This set wasn't too expensive ($25) and was great to try out these cheek stains before buying the regular size, but unfortunately there isn't too much product in each mini. Overall, i'm happy with my purchase and it makes me seriously consider buying the full size cheek stains! The only problem would be choosing a color!

Love the minis!!! They are adorable, and really you don't need the full size because you use so little product. Tipsy is my absolute fave, so I do have both mini and fullsize so that one can stay in my bag all the time while the other stays home. (I know, I'm a MU maniac) I kinda prefer the minis b/c they are small and cute and cheap, and agree w a previous reviewer that using this and topping it (carefully! its easy to overdo!) with a powder blush, it basically stays on forever. I'm so glad they make these, also gives me a chance to try out a mini before going for the full size.

I am not a "natural" makeup kind of girl so I use these in combo with powder blushes and refuse to do anything else! I love getting the mini's because my favorite thing is to mix and match my cheek stains and powder blushes to make new colors. It never gets boring!! My oily skin pushes the cream/gel blushes and powder blushes right off my cheeks but sealing the cream/gel with a powder blush over is perfect, it never goes away. Subtlety is the key here though, it is super easy to go overboard with this technique but looks gorgeous when done properly!

I got a set of four minis a number of years ago, and love them. The colors in the set were Tipsy, Dollface, Flush, and Blushing Bride. The only color that doesn't work for me is Blushing Bride -- too purple for me. Tipsy is my go-to, absolute favorite everyday color. I like Dollface in the summer, when I wear almost no makeup, and Flush for more dramatic occasions. I am very happy with both the texture and the staying power of this product. The apples of my cheeks are normal/dry, so the gel texture provides a nice balance. I wish Tarte sold this product in the mini size all the time, instead of only in sets. I have NOT repurchased, because I don't want to purchase a set with items I don't want or need, and I think the full-sized product is too bulky. If I could buy individual minis, I'd have at least two "Tipsys" on hand at all times, one for my at-home makeup kit, and one for my travel/briefcase kit.

I got these in a set, and I really wanted to like them. However, when I first swatched the colors, I knew I was in for disappointment. The colors swatched very light, and were not true to internet swatches I had seen. But, I was willing to give it a second try. However, when I started to put it on my cheeks, I had quite a few problems blending it. After that fiasco, I got it looking fairly good. Than, I touched my face- it leaves a weird texture. Almost like your face is sticky. I wanted to love this, but cannot get over how hard applying it was and how weird it felt on my face.

Waste of money! No staying power! Paid too much! you are better off using Revlon cream blush. Tarte is a joke. Would never buy any tarte product again. I lost my receipt so I just threw all three stains away. What a jip!

great for a natural color on the cheeks. lots of colors, goes on easily, easy to stash in your handbag. i like to put it on w/ a brush at home, but it doubles as a lip stain on the go.

This review is for the The Good Life Mini Cheekstain Set. In this set are the colors "Tipsy", "True Love" and "Glitzed". I actually prefer the minis to the full size, as I can "try" all 3 colors. I have tried so many different blushes over the years that I have found that the smaller, "free" gift and sample-sized blushes are the best because cheek colors and their popularity change with the wind. All 3 blushes in this set smell wonderful, but what impresses me the most is how long the color stays on your cheeks! Eight hours in to the day, and no need to reapply. I only gave this set 4 lippies because the gold glitter bag that came with the set sheds....everywhere! I threw that bag out.

*I'm reviewing "The Good Life" mini set.
I already love the full sizes of True Love and Tipsy, but past sets I've had were gritty in texture so I was hesitant to try again but an upcoming trip made me change my mind (minis are perfect for travel). I took the plunge and came up pleasantly surprised. Tipsy and TL are gorgeous as ever, not gritty in the least. Glitzed is the real prize though. A gorgeous sheer rose with lovely golden shimmer particles. Amazing when worn on nights out to add a little sparkle to any cheek color or bronzer, but a bit too sparkly to be used alone IMO. My only disappointment was the size ...seems that they've made them a bit smaller than I remember, yet the price stays the same and the included bag this time is rather useless (the glued-on glitter falls off with handling) so a point off for that.

I love the formula of these cheek stains. I find them rather pricey, especially since the change in size. However, I will continue to purchase these. I prefer the minis for traveling.

Love these! Easy to apply, goes on smooth, easy to blend. i know alot of people think these are sticky, but i dont find them to be. these probably work best on dry/normal skin, which is why i like them so much. i have blushing bride, tipsy, dollface, flushed, glitzed, and true love. my favorite so far is probably glitzed, absolutely stunning in the tube- deep pink with gold shimmer.

I actually prefer the minis over the regular sizes. They are easier to travel with and, for me, easier to apply as I like to swipe the stains directly onto my cheeks. I have the minis of Blushing Bride, Flush, Dollface, and Snow Bunny. The minis still seem to last forever, and they are a great way to try several shades.

I love these cheek stains! Easy to apply, very long-lasting, does not have a negative impact on my breakout-prone skin. They literally last all day...looking as good at 10 p.m. as they did first thing in the morning. I have never had a blush last so long. The perfect blush, a glow from within. Completely natural looking. I am fair with brown eyes and blond hair, and Dollface (pink) and Flush (peachy-pink) are wonderful, but I also enjoy Blushing Bride. It looks very dark in the container, and does need a little light touch for me, but it is still a beautiful color. It is definitely the Holy Grail blush for me!

I've been lemming Tarte's cheek stains for awhile, especially because when my skin gets super dry in the winter, I can't wear anything remotely powdery without it looking terrible and obvious. I bought Tarte's Paradise Found set and I've been very pleased with product. The cheek stains are a little sticky at first, but if you let them set for a few minutes, you feel like you have nothing on and get a nice glow. Both Flush and Doll Face were surprisingly nice on my skin and I'm already lemming all the other cheek stains. I gave it four out of five only because Snow Bunny, while cute and shimmery, isn't something I can or would wear very often. I would have much rather had another one of their cheek stains in its place.

I bought the Paradise Found set, which contains minis of Flush, Dollface, and Snow Bunny. This was my first experience with Tarte's famous cheekstains, and they absolutely live up to their reputation. First, the packaging is very cute (which I've come to expect from all Tarte products). The minis are smaller than I had expected (think of a triple-thick tube of chapstick), but there's still a ton of product, and they are the perfect size for dabbing the right amount on your cheeks. I can't really imagine wanting one of the giant-sized cheekstains. As for the colors of Flush and Dollface, they really are gorgeous (read the separate reviews). While I certainly didn't buy the set for Snow Bunny, it is a nice freebie addition. It consists of cookie-scented, clear gel with whitish-silver micro glitters. They're not shockingly huge pieces of glitter, but it's definitely more glitter than shimmer. It will be fun for nights out, I suppose. Overall, I am completely thrilled with the set.

The idea is really cute, they were smaller than I expected them to be, but you still get a ton of product. It's a great way to introduce yourself to the cheekstains. I loooove sugar baby and am very sad you can't get a big one. The "value" price they put on it is deceptive, I think $30 for the set is about right considering they prices of other Tarte products. I like having a variety of colors for different looks. I bought the set with blushing bride, tipsy and sugar baby.

I have the "On the Glow" cheekstain set that contains Tipsy, Blushing Bride, and Sugar Baby. It was this set that "made" me fall in love with Tarte. I have since purchased Flush and Sunkissed in the larger size and b/c of that purchase, I don't think I would ever buy another mini set again. The full sized Cheek Stains seem MUCH more pigmented than the mini set... and I like the results A LOT better!
