This is a frustrating product. Half the time I use it, I get a fabulous fringe of thick diva lashes. The other half, I get a gritty clumpy spidery mess. I never use it unless I have time to completely redo my eye makeup if necessary. Also, don't use your best most expensive mascara with this. Keep one cheap tube exclusively to use with FastLash, because within a dozen or so uses the mascara gets completely clogged with the fibers and becomes impossible to apply cleanly. So, having said all that, why would I buy it again? Because when it does work, it REALLY works.

I've been using this for almost a month now. I really like it. It gives fullness and makes my lashes longer. Its a look that I could never achieve just by using a primer( and I have tried). Yes, is not easy to use, you need practice, and certainly a lash comb if you don't want to look weird. But it does what it says and I find the price pretty decent (but then again, where I live even drugstore is expensive compare to the US). Anyway makes my lashes nice full and pretty.I wouldn't recommend this product to contact lens users.

Such an odd product. I opened the product and it looked like pieces from my dryer's lint trap went flying everywhere. No matter what I tried to do to limit the mess, it was a challenge. I applied Bad Gal Lash Mascara and dabbed the "fibers" onto my lashes and let dry. I then coated with more mascara. My lashes were dramatically thicker and longer. But I think that if I had a good primer and took my time, I could achieve a similar, yet smoother result.
Overall, it seemed to work pretty well. But it is difficult to limit the mess.

This product does what it says it's going to do - it fattens and plumps the lashes really well. However, it's super fuzzy and if you're not careful can get in your eyes and be irritating.

i saw this on clerance at ulta and didnt know what it was so i looked up read some reviews then forgot about for a while. i wear small fake lashes everyday so it really didnt intrest me much. well for some reason i wanted to try it . i went to ulta and saw in the self for 15.00 so then i remember seeing it marked down. turns out the other was half off cause the package changed. so i got it for 7.00 . took it home and tried it i allready had mascara on so it did go on kinda clumpy BUT it made my lashes at least 50% thicker and 70% longer! cant wait to try it when i can take my time and one fresh lashes. no more fake lashes for me it seems. i also was playing around with it , and whats great is you can build where YOU want too. i built up my outter corner lashes for the "snatched back" look wow only draw back i could see was you have to pull the wand out slowor you end up with a face full od dust

This product is a little iffy for me. I have created some fantastically long lashes, but the ends always look frizzy, as though my lashes have horrible split ends. The process also takes a long time- not ideal for daily use. However, I will add the Fast Lash to my lashes, then put fake lashes on top- my lashes are rather short and the Fast Lash helps 'blend' my natural lashes with the fake ones- so it's not that obvious that I have them on. The packaging drives me crazy, because like the other reviewers said, doesn't matter how you open it- you get a dust storm. What I did was to pull off most of the fibers until the wand just looked like it was dusty, and put all the excess into a small plastic jar. When ever I need more, I take a small pinch and add it back into the tube. If I don't do this, it seems like I waste more of the product opening the tube than I do using it, so it's more bang for the buck. My tube of Fast Lash has lasted literally FOREVER and I won't be repurchasing because A) I don't think it'll run out for another few years, B) I'd rather invest in some good fiber mascaras than to bother with it again.

LOVE love love this stuff. Put a LIGHT coat of mascara, tap some of the Fast Lash on the tips of your lashes and put another coat on, making sure to brush from the tops of your lashes too, and then bump them back up from the bottom, giving a wiggle at the root and brushing up. I would use it with a mascara that has a plush or conventional bristle brush (i.e. full and soft, hypnose) vs. the new plastic wand (i.e. lash blast) because the residual mascara on the bristles just catches onto the fibers and smooths out for super long strands of lashes.

i really do love this product! i'd give it a 4.5 stars of i could! i bought this product at ulta mistakenly as an eyelash primer. when i opened it, all this dust looking stuff came out! i was like, wwtthh, is this old?! haha...read the box and my reaction was, oohh crap...still tried it out and it actually is an interesting product! you apply the product on the tip of your lashes after one coat of mascara, and then apply another coat of mascara. it really helps thicken your lashes and make them look like it has a lot of volume. the only downfall...it is messy! every time i open the tube, even slowly, i could see the product falling everywhere! i wish they would have came out with a better way to house the product!

So....It's okay. The first time I tried it I was horrified thinking what are these people talking about its so good?!?! but I put too much of the fibers obviously. The next day I tried a thinner mascara and used VEERRRY little on the tips and that was better, but honestly not all that different fron just using a good mascara. I don't know If I am going to keep it, I'll try a couple more times and decide. I am leaning towards trying the magic lash because it just looks better put together.

I love it! I have used FastLash since before the company was bought by Tweezerman (3 or so years ago), and I've found that there are a few things that make application and removal easier. You must apply on wet mascara, so have the FastLash and your mascara open and ready. I apply a coat of mascara, then look down into a hand mirror when applying the F/L, so no fibers get in my eye. I then immediately apply mascara over the FastLash, and watch my eyelashes get long and lush. I do one eye at a time - I've found that to be essential. Once I have a light coat of mascara on the FastLash, it is set, and I am free to look up and apply any additional mascara normally. I use many different mascaras, but the ones that seem to work the best with this product are Lancome's Definicils and High Definicils, as well as Maybelline Illegal Lengths and Dior's Diorshow Unlimited. I never apply more than one coat - one application works great for me, and looks amazing all day. I remove with an oily remover (Almay Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover Pads) and have not yet lost an eyelash. This seems to last me quite a while, I guess because I concentrate the fibers near the ends of my lashes. I can do both eyes with much less product than one wand contains. It may take a few tries to get the application perfected, but IMO it's well worth the effort.

Yes, it does make your lashes look thicker, but it is not worth it in the long run. When trying to remove my mascara with my normal eyemake-up remover (lancome), it pulled so many lashes out that I cried! The fast lash fibers acted like a hard plastic against the mascara and it literally ripped out my lashes. I was looking for a less expensive alternative to the "Ready to Wear" lash fibers. Dumb idea. Ready To Wear is a great product and now I realize how wonderful it is. I'd pay double for it rather than try to replace it. Also, these fibers were WHITE, which sucked because you had to completely cover them up, also they came out of the bottle in little lint like clumps which I hated. Do no buy this product!!

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
It is like falsies in a bottle!
It adds eyelashes and is so easy to apply!
I do not remember the day i did not use this in conjunction with any mascara, this mascara works with any mascara and gives you the look you actually desire.
Yes, application is messy. But my tube has lasted me 2 years with daily application!
Must repurchase for me!

have to be very careful when taking the wand out since some fibers come out flying everywhere
it does not irritate my eyes at all
if you put a lot on, you'll like like you have spidery lashes (not sure if good thing or bad thing)
does lengthen
sometimes fibers don't stick onto my lashes when i just put it on and falls to my cheek
if your mascara isn't very pigmented, under the light, your lashes will have a hint of white

great product the only negative is that it lasts for a week for me max 10 days.then i have to buy new one (if i put it on every day). with fast lash i don't need anymore to buy expensive mascaras and i am no longer in search for the perfect mascara. This one makes the job.

Pretty good, not gonna lie. For the reviewers who are having problems with this product, I think they're using a mascara brush that is not combing enough. I had this problem too until I started using this with Rimmel Lash Maxxx, which has a tiny, toothed comb as a mascara applicator. I didn't really like this product of the Lash Maxxx - until I figured out that they would probably work really well together. The tips of my lashes need to be pretty wet in order for the fibers to stick properly, so for the first coat I only put mascaa on my tips. Then I quickly put the fibers to the tips of my lashes, then quickly put another coat of mascara on. Since I started using the Lash Maxxx, clumping hasn't been an issue for me, so I've been layering and layering this to my heart's content. Great product.

I got this on sale at UO for 7 dollars, but would re-purchase at full price. This stuff can be hard to figure out, but if you only apply at the very tips of your lashes on top of wet mascara, than quickly apply another coat of mascara and repeat as much as desired, you'll get a good false lash effect, without needing the falsies. I bought an eyelash comb specifically for this product (a metal tooth one) since the lashes can end up sticking together with this (or maybe just MY lashes)... I would just use the comb in between coats, because to use it after you are done building may comb off some of the length on your new lashes... I suggest doing one eye at a time for those who will apply mascara on both eyes at once (right left, right left etc) since the lashes need to be very wet for this to work well...First time I used this I felt like a drag queen and didn't wanna leave the house.. (That was after 3 coats of this stuff) then my hubby said I was a hooor for having fake lashes.. lol.
Now I just use 2 coats of this stuff to avoid ridicule from the hubby who thinks I don't need makeup lol. I have absolutely no lashes, but with this stuff I get length just the way I want it, and the tube seems like it will last forever.

I like Fast Lash. It doesn't make my lashes incredible, but it does make them look fuller & slightly longer. I just touch the wand to the tips of my lashes after using a quick coat of any mascara, then reapply mascara after the Fast Lash. It's quick, my lashes look pretty, it's $14 & I like it.

I like this product. I got it because like every girl I want longer lashes no matter how long they already are. I bought it off ebay for I think 13.00.
For application you put on one coat of mascara so that the fibers will stick and then just barely touch the ends of your lashes so that you have some fluff. I will sometimes run my finger up my lashes to get any extra fluffy pieces off. If you put this on the base of you lashes all the way up like normal mascara you are going to have a big clumpy mess. Then you put another coat of mascara or two making sure you cover any white showing. You can add another layer of Fastlash if you want extra length then coat with mascara again.
You can see a huge difference when I put this on compared to when I don't. It looks like I have false lashes. I already have decent lashes so this is only used for nights or special occasions. Practice does make perfect with this.
Oh, It is easier to apply if you have both mascara and fast lash ready, at least unscrewed before hand, that way the mascara doesn't dry before you can get the fastlash on.

At first I was hesitant to try this product, but after failing at finding a HG mascara, I decided to try and make my own by using the Fast Lash as a base. When I first pulled the wand out, i was overwhelmed by the multitude of fibers on it, but I decided to use an old makeup container to tap off the extra fibers. This worked out wonderfully, as there were just enough on the brush to apply in between coats of mascara. I was thrilled with the results - full and lush lashes, something I've never had! Definitely worth a try, but do understand practice will make perfect!

I love this product! Despite its crummy applicator design (why use a full mascara spoolie?) and bizarre little fly-away "lint" it is something that I really look forward to when I do my make-up. You girls that are blessed with long full lashes cannot appreciate how wimpy lashed girls like us would think we've died and gone to lash heaven! I feel deliciously decadent using this. I've only used it twice (carefully following all directions and slooowly removing the wand) and hopefully it will keep living up to my expectations but so far, I will definitely repurchase.
