I liked this body wash but the smell was a little too strong to be considered pleasant. I find it kind of hard to rinse off though... in the shower my whole body feels really slick, I don't know if that's supposed to be good or bad but I don't really like the feeling. The lotion is much better though, the smell in the lotion isn't as strong as the wash. Overall it is pretty good but next time I will be trying the oatmeal & shea butter (I have the lotion and love it!)

This is very nice. I just put some in my hands and rub it over my entire body and rinse. Leaves skin soft. Inexpensive, big bottle. Great product.

I love St. Ives products, and this is one of my favs. I think it has a rather pleasant floral smell, and it does make your skin feel really soft. I have really dry skin on my arms and legs so this works great. The only problem I had was watching out that I didn't slip on it in the bath tub as it is pretty slick, but I guess that's why it's called whipped "silk". Also, they do not use any animal products and do not test on animals - another plus in my book. I used the oatmeal St. Ives body wash and did not particularly like the smell of it. This one works great in my opinion.

I bought this to try because it was so inexpensive. Good thing, because I really don't like it. The consistency was slimy, and I don't care for the fragrance. The oatmeal variety is much better.

This product, overall, is great - a small amount produces a huge lather, it makes my skin super soft, it works great with a razor and it's super cheap. HOWEVER, I can't stand the smell - so strong and cloying, I guess it would be described as a rose type fragrance, very old fashioned. Because I'm a broke student I worked my way through the bottle, but I won't be buying it again - there are too many other body washes that make my skin soft and still smell good. In saying that though, if you liked the fragrance it would possibly be a perfect body wash - hence the four lippies. The smell is the only thing that makes me a take a lippie off, but unfortunately it's also the thing that would make me never buy it again.

I bought this because I thought "whipped silk" sounded like a good idea. Unfortunately, it did nothing to moisturize my skin. Granted, I do live in a dry, northern climate and my skin tends to be on the dry side as it is--but this didn't even seem to help temporarily. Not to mention, the scent is just plain weird. I give 2 lippies simply because I didn't break out or have an adverse reaction to the product.

I found this body wash by random coincidence, and I have been using it for quite some time now. Considering that my skin doesn't need that much moisturizing, I don't have as much to say about that, but I would say it leaves my skin feeling soft. The thing that keeps me coming back is the smell of this body wash. I ADORE this scent because it is subtle but wonderful, and it smells like perfume for your shower.

At first I was eager to ry to this product cuase then name was interesting.........whipped silk. Its been good at moisterizing but not amazing. And the scent is .......wierd.What saves the product though is that it does moisterize your body. However St.Ives has so many other products so if I were you I'd have a go at the H2O body wash or some other body wash.

This bodywash is one of the most moisturizing I have tried. It looks like a creamy lilac lotion. I can't smell much beyond a faint plasticky smell to it, though, so would probably try the St. Ives oatmeal bw next to see if the scent is better.

I used to use this all the time. The only reason I haven't bought it for a while is because I just wanted to try some different brands, and now I'm looking for a more natural moisturizing body wash. This, however, is absolutely one of the best drugstore body wash that I have ever tried. I have extremely dry skin and even moisturizing bar soap dries out my skin. I can only use glycerin soap or moisturizing body wash. The smell is lovely. Rather strong and floral, but I found it pleasant, though not perfect. the texture is delicious and softened the body wonderfully. Better than dove cream oil, softsoap cashmere, and caress cream oil, as well as many other drugstore brand moisturizing body washes (it's also cheaper). Unfortunately i have a hard time finding it sometimes. I really like all of the St. Ives body washes that I've tried. This and the vanilla body wash are my favourite. the only reason i gave it 4 lippies as opposed to 5 is because the scent could be better (it would be nice if it came in multiple scents). If i could give it 4 and a half lippies, i would. It is so close to being a HG product. I love that it has a lot of natural ingredients and that is is free of petroleum products. It leaves my skin smooth and soft as a baby's bottom with no residue of any kind. Once out of the shower, the scent left on the skin is quite subtle.

This is my HG for my dry skin. It smells very pleasant. Non sticky residue. Very moisturizing. It makes a lathering foam with just a little. I also use it to shave my legs and the blade goes soooo smooth on the skin. It leaves my legs very moisturized and non itchy. Def repurchase. Better than Dove ultra rich cream oil.

this feels like a lotion but is still very light. im been a dove devotee for awhile but this could make a good replacement because you dont need to use a lot of product and it makes lotion superfluous (i have normal-oily skin). my only complaint is how the bottle is designed. its so tall that its a little flimsy

This body wash is very moisturizing which is what I need for my dry skin. I picked this up because my skin gets especially dry in the winter. Even though its moisturizing I still feel clean after using it and I don't notice any residue. I use this in the shower most days but once a week or so I will use a scented body wash that is not as moisturizing because I like the smell better. The scent of this body wash is fine - soapy, floral, powdery - but its not my favorite. I do really like that it sudses up a lot and you don't have to use very much. Also, I use this on my back which is prone to small breakouts and I haven't noticed any increase in breakouts. I didn't give it 5 lippies because I am not a huge fan of the scent and I don't think it would like it for year round or if my skin wasn't dry.

Since I got it on sale for $1.25 for an 18 oz. bottle at CVS, I was not really expecting to like it that much, but I love the texture, the smell is very nice, and it moisturizes well. Lovely.
