LOVE this scent (on a cake!) Smells just like sweetened condensed milk but somehow wearable (if you teach kindergarten). Still I couldn't stop smelling my wrist knowing full well I would never wear this on a date or anywhere I needed to be taken seriously. It does smells really good though.

Breast milk and the bottom of an empty bowl of cereal...yuck...had they added just a pinch of more sweetness, this might have been decent!

Wow. If i could give this fragrance 0 lippies, i would. This was just like water on my skin. I didn't smell a thing lol. If i sniffed hard enough i could maybe pick up the slight scent of baby vomit wich doesn't smell like much...just sour. Waist of Money.

I purchased a small 3/4 fl. oz. can of this stuff, and it just arrived. I was very disappointed. I wanted to really like it, but it doesn't even last long enough to sniff it! You spray it on and it's gone in a flash. It was so expensive too. I paid $27.00 and $5.00 shipping. What I can gather, it smells like burned sweetened condensed milk. I would not purchase again. In fact, I will never buy a fragrance over the internet again. I did get a small cheap tote bag with purchase.

Smells just like sweetened condensed milk but honestly, how does one want to smell like milk? Such a weird fragrance to wear!

This is pretty good, but sometimes when I spray it I get a hint of pineapple, which I hate, and sometimes I don't so Im confused. When I DON'T get pineapple, I get a lovely caramel scent, like sugar or condensed milk that's being cooked. It could also remind me of cornflakes with warm sugar and milk - yes all these lovely things. To be honest I am a heavy gourmand lover, and the scent of Matin Calin (cereal/milk/sugar) are, on paper, what my dreams are made of, but in reality I kind of got bored of this pretty quickly. So I sold my bottle after a handful of uses. I surprised myself because it's one of the first 'niche' perfumes I was after for ages and when I discovered Luckyscent, it was the first scent I bought from there, even though they have so many amazing other scents. But then it was just "yeah you know" and so I decided I don't NEED to have it.

Oh do I love this. I just recieved this from a very lovely Mua'r and can't stop smelling myself. I wondered why it smelled so familiar, and I got it. It smells like the brown carmalized edge of creme brulee. Which happens to be a dessert I love!!!

This smells so real and authentic- not at all like perfume, but like real milk and slightly carmelized sugar. It's so delicate that it's not like it's perfume at all. My only regrets are how ephemeral it is due to this light character.

This won't keep me from buying it again, however. It's truly unique, and I'll pile it on all day long to enjoy the experience. I bought the largest size bottle of it simply for that reason...

Oh, yummmmmm...... This is the exact smell of cajeta, the smell of sweetened condensed milk cooked slowly over the stove until it turns golden-brown, slightly thickens and tastes so good! This fragrance, just like the food, is only for things who like sweet. I am taking one lippie off because I assume it's not going to last very long, but so far it is lasting longer than L'Artisans.

Flannel jammies, bedhead ponytail and cartoons while eating warm rice with hot milk and sugar on a cold Winter morning. This is what I think about as soon as I spritz this on. The lasting power on skin alone is not spectacular, but spritz it in your hair and you've got all-day coziness. My husband loves it and on days I wear it he falls asleep with his cheek on the back of my neck. I get many compliments on it. Will definitely repurchase, and I love the ultra modern aluminum bottle.

Yum, smells just like sweet condensed milk!

I do wish the staying power were better. It's warm milk with sugar and vanilla, pure comfort. I love the name too: evocative of warmth, relaxation and comfort just like the scent.

This smells very pineapple-ish on me, then dries down to a sweet milky scent. It's a nice comfort scent but it fades very fast and so it's not worth the money. I think if I were looking for a comfort scent I'd choose Frederic Malle L'eau d'Hiver over this (that has much better staying power).

I got this at Marshall's for $9.99 - a steal since it regularly sells for $53.00. I am glad I did not pay full price. If you like smelling like a can of sweetened condensed milk, then this is the fragrance for you. I layer it with other gourmand fragrances to add a creamy note but I do not like to wear it by itself. Would not repurchase at any price.

I got this as a sample with something I bought online, I believe, from Sephora, but just now bothered to try it. I thought it smelled like pineapple, but after reading the reviews here, all I can smell is caramel and baby spit-up. I was going to give it a 3, but the latter "scent" ruined it for me....

This is a burnt sugar smell, like that topnote of creme brulee, and definitely a lot of Borden's Condensed Milk as well. Lasting power is super fleeting. Found a bunch of these on discount at my local secondhand store and got two. I can see myself spritzing prior to bed, and using a lot since this is quite a faint fragrance. I don't know how wearable this is for public but it does bring back some nice scent memories of breakfast and for me, shaved ice with condensed milk poured over it. As a guy, I doubt I could pull this off as a 'going out' blend but it's quite nice for relaxing at home. The packaging is simple aluminum which caters to my style, but does look different from the traditional perfume bottle (certainly odd next to the intricate glassware and tapered edges of, say, and Artisan Parfumeur or Bvlgari). I doubt I would pay full price for any CSP, the pricing for the lasting power is ridiculous.

This was one of my 1st CSP fragrances, and I find it just lovely. It reminds me of when I ate corn flakes w/milk + poured sugar on it,lol. Its def.a scent that you have to get aquainted with,or it can be offensive at 1st sniff.Too bad it doesn't seem to last very long.

This product is such a joke. Yes, it smells very good...for the 30 seconds it lasts. I have never experienced a perfume with such horrible lasting power. Even Demeters, which are notoriously short lived, outlast Matin Calin. I bought this at Marshalls for $10, and I still feel ripped off (had I not thrown out the box I would have returned). For the 50 some-odd dollars retail? Ridiculous.

I was surprised at the negative comments. I just LOVE it! So does my man...says he could just "eat me up".

It's my favorite and has been for a few years. =)

*Update*
I do still like this. But I found a new LOVE
Chanel COCO MADEMOISELLE

I'm taking off 1 lippie.
I'm not sure I would re-buy because I love the new one soooo much... ???

I DO still like it. :)

Ultimate comfort scent but sadly has no lasting power. It's very faint and disappears altogether within an hour. I like to spray it on before I go to sleep. Then it doesn't really matter if it lasts long. Despite the poor strength, I would buy it again. I've almost used up my bottle and am on the hunt for another.
