In the tube it looks dark red, but on my lips it gives a slight hint of color and I love it. I'm a pale redhead soI figured this gloss would be death on me, but I love it. It's smooth, and I like the texture. I wish it lasted a little longer. I got this as an extra in a swap, and it was a great, welcome surprise!

I love this lipgloss except it's way too expensive and you don't really get alot in the tube. This colour is great to wear on it's own for a natural look and moisturizes the lips nicely. I haven't bought one for awhile but now after reading all the great reviews I might have to!!

This is now one of my all-time favorite glosses.

I have used a lot of lip-plumping glosses...and, while I realize this is not a lip-plumping gloss, for whatever reason, my lips look super full and feel super full while I'm wearing it.

It goes on a reddish and slightly bronze shade for me, and I love it.

I bought Daphne because that's my name, even though I didn't like the colour in the tube AND I don't like lipgloss. There, I admitted it.

However I was glad I did. I find lipgloss looks gunky and thick on nmy lips, but this just looked fresh (no pun intended) and pretty. maybe because it's non-sticky, I don't know. It's very, very sheer indeed, but attractive. and moisturising. I think I've finally switched on to gloss! Naughty NAUGHTY Fresh for those prices though, and for not showing them in the shop.

One of the BEST lipglosses I have ever used. I love the consistency and the colors. I bought Daphne, Lido and Damask. Daphne is a muted red in the tube but goes on very natural with a touvh of colour. These glosses are light, non-sticky and the colors are so sheer and pretty on the lips. The only complaint is the amount of product when compared to others, say Becca. Fresh only gives 6.1ml of product wheras Becca gives 9ml at a comparable price. Unfortunately as much as I love Becca's glosses, Fresh does offer a better product. So I will continue to purchase these wonderful glosses.

I can see why some people wouldn't like Fresh lipgloss. It's VERY natural and sheer. I love the textures and the colors though... very "my lips but better" and daphne is one of my favorite colors!

I love this one too! Great texture, unscented (yay!), and fabulous color. Without sounding too into my reflection in the mirror...I really like the color my lips are after I brush my teeth...kinda flushed, in a really innocent sort of way. This is the color!

I wanted to own this product well, because of the name, yes I'm silly! So what, I can be weird and want to buy a lip gloss just because it's called Daphne, plus it's a kinda pretty shade. I fear that a lot of women don't look into the ingredients on their products such as lip glosses. I don't think I'll be using this and I returned it simply because it has some pore clogging ingredients in it. For example, Myristyl lactate... You guys should keep the pores around your mouth clean and healthy too! Blackheads there are awfully pesky to remove and painful. Anyways, don't let me tear you guys away from your favorite gloss, but I have to be careful in these regards. Anyways, gave it 3 lippies for cool name!

In the beginning, I really wanted to try a Fresh Lipshine. All their lipshines in the display all lined up was so tempting! I tested them all on my hand just to see how it turns out. Mostly all sheer. Maybe TOO sheer for the $$ I paid. (bought it at BeautyMark in Vancouver, BC). Anyhow, just be looking at the lipshines, i would have bought the lightest few colours, but after testing on my hand, I decided that it was too sheer - had to buy a darker one!


Keep in mind, I'm normally a sheer light-coloured lipgloss kinda gal. For the first time, I bought a "bright-deep-red" in the tube kinda shade - it's very very runny, and gives a reddish stain to my lips, but not for too long. It is something that I can definately put on quickly without a mirror, because it's so sheer.


6.1ml/0.2oz of gloss - but beware, a few months after using this, I was twisting the cap off, and for some reason, the plastic that was glued to my cap, detached and was stuck on the actual gloss part. I couldn't pry it apart - had gloss oozing all over my hand. Had to clean it up, wipe it down, push and pull, twist and open, and FINALLY the plastic thing detached and I was able to get to the gloss. Maybe mine was just a defect.


I wouldn't buy this gloss again because for this price, I want something with more colour. This is almost a clear lipgloss with lipliner underneath.

This is one of the most beautiful shades in the Fresh lip shine line. The texture of Fresh glosses are amazing- they're sheer, but still manage to pop with color.

Fresh Lip Shines are one of my Holiest of the Holy Grail lipglosses. I am a gloss addict, and after buying Daphne I'm locked into Fresh for life.

While these glosses are about $18, I felt no guilt buying the three that I have. Daphne is my absolute favorite, it's a sheer neutral red with teeney tiny beautiful golden sparkles. I have cool PPP coloring and this gloss is absolutely stunning with everything I wear. It has a light scent, almost like brown sugar, and is in my pocket 24/7. I hope they never discontinue this gloss, and if they do I'll be the first to buy them all.

I love this lipshine. Very smooth consistency, and not sticky like lot of other lipglosses such as MAC lipglass. Moisturizing, as shea butter is one of the ingredients. Beautiful color that works w/ my PPP complexion, but seems that it would work for mose everyone. Looks like YLBB (your lips but better). Definitely will repurchase!

This is the one Fresh lipshine that I wouldn't repurchase, even though I love the non sticky texture and how it moisturizes really nicely. It's super sheer on my pigmented lips--a verryyyy sheer red w/ a slight brown undertone. Although all the Fresh lipshines are very sheer, this one hardly shows. Try this one on before you purchase it.
