A perfectly decent no-color pressed powder -- but laughably overpriced. And given that you have to carry a separate powder brush or puff -- and keep them clean -- the small size isn't a selling point.
This is the size of a standard blush round, or about 35-36 mm in diameter. It comes in a cocoa-colored plastic compact that is simple and neither particularly slim nor bulky. The 2.5 g of product retails for $22.50 in a compact.
Is that too much? Well, you can buy an 18-gram no-color pressed powder from Joe Blasco for $21 (less at discount sites), for $20 from Kett or for $10 from Camera Ready Cosmetics. If you have to have a 36 mm pan for a palette, then at least save yourself $5 and get the Three Custom Color refill for $17.50. But that's still highway robbery.
You're wondering: I got this for free during a HauteLook sale, because I'd piled up credits and couldn't find anything else I wanted. I'm planning to depot this and put it into a travel palette -- but for everyday use, I'm sticking with a larger compact that lets me at least keep a puff with it.

This is a nice, truly colorless powder. In fact, when I apply it, I can hardly detect it on my powder brush. But apparently it's there, because it does set my foundation nicely and give me a soft, matte look. I also like the fact that it doesn't look dry or chalky (a problem I've had with other colorless powders.) This was my first 3CCS product, and I'm quite impressed with the quality.

As soon as they offered Face powder I jumped on it, I have it in my Trio palette with my concealer and "blush" (I use warm peony e/s) It's perfect for quick touchups, the powder is light and almost invisible, and I really like it. If I had more money I'd have them custom blend me pressed powder because their #1 is still too dark (though #1 concealer is good), but Translucent is good until then. NW15, Blue, red.
