I really like how smooth this is. It is also super pigmented. As it is so pigmented though i find application tricky - only need a touch and can easily overdo it. i think the colour is a bit dark and pink for my NC25 skin. I still us though, just sparingly. I can imagine this lasting pretty much forever. Would def buy LM blush again, just maybe not this colour. Overall i feel positive about blushing apple though.

The texture and the pigmentation of the blush are quite good but LM needs to update her blush colors. They are sub par in comparison to the rest of her line imo. This is a berryish red w/ warm shimmer...in the same league as Nars Outlaw except that is not as red. This just makes me look too young as do all pink and red based blushes, like a clown. However, I think paler or darker skintones than my NC40 would be happier with this color i think. On my olive skin it's just too obvious.

I own close to 50 blushes but this one is a standout for me. This is the only LM blush I own but I really like it. This is typically my go to daily blush, my basic face. Described as rust brick. It's red, yes, but not quite. It's not overpowering clownish red. Not bright red like nars exhibit a. This is pigmented but I can't see anyone overdoing it or having to apply very carefully as you have to do w/ some nars shades. Very natural and flushed look for me. I'm C3 in mac sf powder, shell 1.5 in Chanel teint innocence, hazel eyes, and brown hair.

I have very light olive skin and this blush just shows up too bright and red. The color in the compact is bright red, some orange, and gold sparkles. The texture is nice though, doesn't seem to amplify my pores and blemishes. I was on the seesaw w/this blush, first I didn't like it, then I loved it, now I believe it's just not my natural blush. For someone with somewhat darker olive skin, this would probably be perfect, so give it a try.

Thank you MUAer's for helping me find this blush! This is my first experience with Laura Mercier, and I couldn't be happier with this color. I definitely would have shied away from what appears to be a dark red blush...It looks too dramatic for my pale skin. However, when applied, it just looks natural and healthy, like I've been outside hiking in the cold. I love to look like I've worked out when I haven't :)

I will just comment by saying that this is the best powder blush I've tried so far, as I usually just use cream blushes, as my skin is very dry. This blush actually feels creamy going on and blends like a dream. The head makeup artist recommended this for me, as another makeup artist at the counter was applying a different color called winter blush or blossom, (don't know the exact name).
This color is gorgeous on me, like my normal flush when I'm done exercising or coming in from the cold. In the pan it looked a little to bright, but on really beautiful, and natural. I'm a light-med, sunny beige, for reference. Neutral-warm in coloring. This color can be worn year round, lasts all day, Don't notice any shimmers which is fine. Sort of gives me that bronzy-rose effect, like you don't need a tan, it's a pick me up color for sure. I never would have picked this color out for myself. I'm starting to really love the whole Laura Mercier line!

Adding to the raves...I'm loving my blushing apple blush. I missed the Indian Summer Collection when it was out, but since the colors are still available I guess it's not too late. This blush is the perfect rosy red flush for fall. I have light-medium olive toned skin and olive green eyes--this blush is absolute perfection. I pair it with LM Golden Bronze bronzer and it's a great natural look. This is what I was hoping NARS Taos would be like--I found Taos to be way too orange and harsh. I think this could look great on many complexions; the pigment is great so just start with a lighter hand. UPDATE: I'm not loving this blush as much as I thought; it's hard for me to work with and I am not feeling it's as natural as I thought- still a bit too red for me. I'm sticking with BB blush- pale pink and sand pink- more neutral and more natural on me.

Love this!! Makes me look healthy, without being too much. Was a bit doubtful when teh makeup artist used it on me as it looks so dark and red on the compact, but should have trusted her. Just a teensy amount as highly, highly pigmented and perfect rosiness. Silky finish, almost like a cream stain. I use Tarte cheek stain in Tickled for the longest time, and wanted to find a powder equivalent as I'm trying out mineral foundations. I have definitely found it!

A lovely warm, natural, glowing color on my skin. This is the first LM blush I've tried, but its high quality makes me want to look at other shades. It goes on smoothly & lasts pretty well for me (most of the day if not all day). I feel like this shade does what I want blush to do: makes me look awake, healthy, glowy. I've been wearing it every day since I got it.

When I first saw this blush, brand new and untouched on a display at Sephora's, I actually thought it was a cream blush; it was so smooth in appearance and the color had more depth than I would expect from a powder. And I tried it on as if it were a cream blush - I swiped at it with one of their little latex sample sponges, then dabbed it on my cheeks and blended it out with my fingers. It acted totally like a cream blush! It spread out easily and was very sheer and natural. I loved the color, but I'm not a big fan of cream blushes because I think they fade too quickly on me.
So I went away. Fast-forward three hours to me stopping in the ladies room before I left the mall, catching sight of my face and thinking, "Hey, look! I don't look like a pasty-faced zombie!" and realizing it was that pretty blush, still doing its job. So I went back to buy it, and there were none left on the display, and I totally confused the sales associate by insisting I was looking for a cream blush.
I have now figured out that it is a powdered blush, and I now own it. I love the color on my medium beige warm-to-neutral coloring and I think the texture is unique and wonderful. Highly recommend!

Next to NARS, Laura Mercier makes excellent powder blushes. Velvety texture with buildable pigment. The powder blends into the skin without looking like it's sitting on the surface. "Blushing Apple" is a pretty color in the pan (spiced cider) -- reddish bronze with a hint of shimmer. On my skin though, it doesn't quite work. I need something with a bit more peach to it...but this shade definitely works with warm complexions. Not my favorite shade, but a great product nonetheless.

I had swapped for this item so can't vouch for the price, but what I love about Laura Mercier products is that it's so subtle and can be built up, so it's' hard to go overboard unless you really mash your brush into the pan. The color is warm red w/ very subtle shimmer, so when it goes on I find that it really gives me a glowy, very natural red flush. It's the best shade of red that I've found for my skin, because it's a perfect balance of shimmer and matte - not too much of either. I'd like to try other LM blushes because I love the sheerness of this.

This blush is less red than I had heard, and I was all ready to be disappointed like I was with NARS Taos, but I figured I'd give it a try, and boy and I glad I did. The color is like a old school brick, not red, not orange, kinda red-orange with some brown to it. As another reviewer said, I don't see the shimmer in this when I apply it, but I think it's a must have blush for warm skinned ladies. The warm tones in it are absolutely perfect for my NC 20 skin. They make you look flush and healthy. Definitely noticable, not a glow kind of healthy, but a rosey brown kind of flush. I apply with a skunk brush because it is highly pigmented. Definitely try this out if you're warm toned!

For high glamour cheeks, please use this! Well at least on me :) I'm a MAC NC30 and this is a gorgeous shade of a red coral infused with gold shimmer. It gives a gorgeous red flush on the apples of the cheek to give that pop of colour for special occasions and nights out. Since it's very pigmented, I would use it sparingly. I also love it cause it leaves a silky finish and it's super easy to blend. The shimmer isn't obvious but it just gives enough to notice a gorgeous glow on the skin. It's a very unusual colour but it works so well on many skin tones!

This is a lovely "bridge" color that gives an autumnal flush that cool toned girls can wear without turning muddy or too orange or ruddy. I am a cool MMM, but wanted to find something that looked great my new orange suede cafe jacket. The MA did this great application sort of on the front of my cheeks instead of high on the apple. It was a very chic, European, effect. I haven't seen another color quite like it.

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous reddish-coral color with the slightest touch of brown and fine gold shimmer. Can't see the shimmer on my face, even in sunlight. Such a natural, flushed color on my MMM skin. A color I can usually get only from creme or gel blushes. Color goes on very sheer yet well pigmented so you just need a little, but can layer if you want and still remains natural. Packaging, as with all LM blushes, is great...small without the useless brush that tucks easily into purse or makeup bag. Since you only need a tiny bit it will last a long time so well worth the $$. Definite repurchase.

I am SOOOOO in love with this! I had never really considered Laura Mercier's makeup line seriously for myself before because it was just too pricey, although I am an avid fan of her Bath & Body products. I was just passing by the counter when this gorgeous warm shimmery coral-red blush somehow caught my eye... I was in the mood for trying something different from my usual peach and pink staples...and the rest, as they say, is history. I tried it on when I got home, liked it soooo much that I wore it to work the next day (this is quite something as I usually horde my new stuff away, packaging and all, as long as possible ...heheh).
The warm coral colour just makes my face glow and the shimmer, while not as obvious as it appears in the pan, adds dimension to my cheeks. The colour looks very strong in the pan but by applying it with a light hand, I find it's not a problem to get the right 'depth'. Great lasting power as the colour stays true throughout the day. I was so impressed I bought another LM shimmery blush within the space of a few days after purchasing this one. This is top quality stuff, as it should be for top bucks!
For reference, I am an NC200 and LSF No 5.

I attended a makeup show at a local boutique and fell in love with LM products. I didn't think it could be any different from any other blush. WRONG! Put my makeup on at 6:30 a.m. and at 6:30 p.m. the blush looks the same. Love the subtle pop of color and the staying power. I'm hooked. Will purchase this color again and try others.

My favorite color! I have a tanned/dark complexion (filipino/hawaiian) and this works great on my skin color. Just a touch on the apple of your cheeks is enough.

Awesome color! Looking at it, I thought it was too pink for me, but w/ a small application, makes me look rosy w/o looking like a clown (which is hard for my tan skin).
