Great mascara! Goes on without any clumps and creates natural looking lashes. It comes off easily with soap and water. The only downside is that the formula is kinda thick and it takes many coats to create longer and thicker lashes. But it all pays off in the end because your lashes will look great. :)

Horrible. Do not waste your money. This stuff flakes and dries up FAST. I bought this, and after about 3 uses it was dried up and smelly. Ew. Just about the worst mascara I have EVER used. The formula was also very thick, and not very pigmented. Left my lashes rock hard and was difficult to remove with even the strongest makeup remover. Never again.

I bought the "thickening" formula, but it added no thickness or volume, and it didn't add length, either. If you want a natural-looking mascara, you may like the Palladio Mascara, but my lashes need a little bit of enhancement. I also didn't like the look or feel of my lashes after this mascara dried. They felt stiff and kind of rough, and they didn't look silky or smooth. Also, the product is pretty dry. I love Palladio wet/dry foundation, but to me, this mascara is a dud. You can buy many drugstore mascaras that are far better

Honestly, I was not impressed with this. The packaging looks better than it is. You do get that extra little brush at the handle but I never use it so I don't care about it. The brush always gets more product at the tip, you all know what I'm talking about. And that excess product ends up on my face. I don't like it one bit. The product itself in terms of formula is nothing special. It doesn't hold a curl very well. It flakes like you wouldn't believe and I understand that it is not water proof but I have really oily skin and sometimes it just melts off my lashes and you can see marks under my eyes.

I bought this because recently my eyes have been very sensitive, so I wanted to switch to a natural mascara for a bit. I bought this (Herbal Thickening in Black) as I have loved other Palladio cosmetics I tried in the past.
This works very well as a natural, everyday mascara. No clumping or smudging and it can also be layered up for a more dramatic look. This isn't as dramatic as say Maybelline Volume Express, but for a mascara with natural ingredients I was quite impressed.
I also liked the fact that the tube came with a little lash comb/brush. I can actually see myself using this for a long while and will probably re-purchase.

Ok...I love this mascara. At first it was quite runny and didn't do much for my lashes, but after it dried out a bit, I cannot believe how beautiful it makes my eyes look! It's still quite natural looking, but it does add a touch of volume (got the thickening kind). I use this on a daily basis and haven't had it clump once...not even ONCE! it's awesome for layering or wearing alone for a more natural look.
This is going to be a regular repurchase for me!!!

This review is for the herbal waterproof mascara. When I first started using it I was scared of it because I felt it was making my lashes very dry and brittle. But after using for a while I really like it. The black is dark and rich, it holds a curl WONDERFULLY, and it doesn't smudge or flake even when I use it on my bottom lashes.

TO EVERYONE.. THIS IS A WATER BASED MASCARA, NOT WATER-PROOF...
THAT'S WHY YOU DON'T SEE IT HOLDING UP FOR A LONG TIME ON YOUR LASHES. IT'S ALSO MAINLY MADE FOR APPLYING TO FALSE LASHES AND EXTENTIONS.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Other, Medium Hair: Brown, Straight, Fine Eyes: Brown
I like this mascara, it gives me a nice natural full look. Even though it is waterpoof it did not hold up to my oily lids. It didn't flake but I did get smudging which is worse to me. It did hold a curl and didn't irritate my eyes it might be good for the winter when I'm a bit dryer. I wanted this to work since its all natural...

This is on the waterproof Herbal Mascara in brown. I was originally not that thrilled about this product as it didn't give much of a dramatic effect (I am used to volumizing mascara). After reading a few reviews and noting that
A)my volumizing mascaras aren't that great for my lashes, and
B) this is supposed to be healthier for your lashes, I tried again.
This time, I did some major curling with my new Japonesque eyelash curler, then applied the Palladio mascara. Wow! It looked very nice and natural, no clumps, nothing flaked off onto my contacts.
This would have been a "5" if they had more variations of color--the choices are black and brown.
It was under $5 at Sally Beauty Supply.
I like that the packaging is minimal--enough to keep it tamper-proof, but you don't need a blowtorch to get it out of a stubborn blister pack. The two-sided lash comb on the handle is a nice touch.

I love this mascara! I have been using this for a few years now and in comparison to the dozen or so other brands I own or have tried, this one outdoes them all as far as quality! I buy this at Sally Beauty Supply for about $5 or so and love the brush versatility...not only is there a typical brush wand, but on the other end of the wand at the top of the tube in a clear cap is a combination finer brush for eyebrows and a comb for separating and neatening things up! Love it! This thickening, waterproof formula only comes in one color, black/brown, which suits me just fine. My eyes never, ever tear from this and I never experience any smudging...zero irritation. It goes on pretty easily and comes off just as easily when washing. My lashes are longer and fuller and in a neat, uniform manner when I apply this stuff. It dries right quick, too! The only downside is that the company does not put enough formula in the tube so it does not last long. This mascara is the only one other than the Physician's Formula brand that does not irritate or burn my eyes like others that make me tear and squint the whole time I am wearing it. I love the fun colors of other mascaras like purple, green, blue, and I own them...but...when I wear those colors, I have to sacrifice my eye comfort...'eye burn' big time but pretty-colored lashes! Overall, I highly recommend this mascara as it is very 'eye friendly,' has great staying power, and offers unexpected, useful versatility by way of the multi-functional application wand.

I haven't worn mascara since Jr. High (more than a few years ago let's just say) and have recently started paying a little more attention to my eyelashes so decided to buy one. This product is good in the sense that the ingredients seem to be mostly natural - I was worried about using a mascara that would make them fall out or get clumpy and this doesn't do that. The only problem is it's very light and almost seems like that clear mascara they came out with a long time ago that doesn't do much of anything except coat your lashes with a little gel-like substance. Not too bad, would probably repurchase if I ever run out, but I'm guessing I'll have this for a long time since I rarely use the stuff to begin with. If you're going for a dramatic noticble difference this is not the mascara to do that.

THE DEAL WITH MASCARAS IS... that the more dramatic the mascara makes your lashes look, the more damaging it is to your lashes, and if it's waterproof then it's even worse because it dries out lashes and it damages your lashes when you try hard to get it off.
I am a mascara aficionado and I don't accept any look other than dramatic eye-lashes. But I remember when my eyelashes were fuller and thicker before using dramatic mascaras. With time, my eyelashes grew sparse, thinner and they easily fell out. So lately, I've been searching for just eye lash conditioners and lighter mascaras that improve the health of your eyelashes. This is why I bought Palladio's Herbal Mascara (but in waterproof b/c that is a must down here in SoFlo's humid weather).
SO.. This mascara does a pretty good job for being ALL HERBAL. And all herbal is good b/c it doesn't use harmful chemicals. It definitely lengthens!! But it doesn't really thicken. But hey you can't have your cake & eat it too. I'm taking a break from my dramatic mascaras. For now, I'll be using this herbal mascara as therapy for my eyelashes 'cause they really need it!!! In the meantime I'm thinking about buying Mavala's "Esolica Double-Lash" nutritive eye lash formula. It claims to nourish eyelashes and promote new eyelash growth, but it's $35 a bottle for 0.33 fl.oz. http://esolica.net/html/details.htm
