I've had this in the cupboard for about three years. Every now and then I would come back to it. (I have fine, wavy hair, shoulder-length hair). I just started using Curl Karma Shampoo and Kevin Murphy Angel Conditioner and the three of them together have taken my hair from wavy to lovely loose curls. I am set at last! I wash my hair and then use a small amount (a dime maybe) of the product through my hands until it warms up a little; then I scrunch it through the ends and mid-shaft (my roots can't take any product). Then I put a few clips in to get height and scrunch the ends up once more, and leave it. Voila! 2nd day hair is even better - I scrunch with a wet cloth and put clips in while it dries again. No crunchies, just soft, beautiful curls. So happy I came back to it - once I had the right shampoo and conditioner it all came together for me!

Would I buy this product again? YES! Forever!
This has made such a change to my 2b hair. I used to use only drugstore haircare, and I used to put creams, gels, oils and never had a consistant routine. My hair was getting worse.
One day i bought the shampoo, conditioner and curl cream and never looked back. I only need the smallest amount of all the products and my hair looks amazing, alive and happy.
Yesterday i used my mother's shampoo and conditioner (drugstore) and then added the fekkai curl cream but ended with some poof.
So, I belive that the whole line is amazing and it only works for may hair if i use the shampoo and conditioner as well.
Yes it is expensive, but i've spent so much time haiting my hair that i am willing to pay the price for it.
The packaging is ugly, but I couldn't care less. I only care about what this does for my hair

I tried this product on my slightly naturally wavy hair and was unimpressed. It really did nothing and at $25 a bottle, I'm definitely returning it. Maybe if your hair is already naturally wavy, it would work a little better.

I looooove this product. Smells fantastic, lasts a long time (which it had better for the price to be honest). My hair is naturally wavy/frizzy/wtf, and using a small amount of this, a diffuser, then quickly evening out my waves with a curling iron gives me nice, natural bouncy waves and it holds it really well all day, with pretty much no frizz (depending on weather). My hair tends to have really curly parts then some areas just look flat and weird, so this great for days I don't straighten! My only complaint is the price. I'd typically hunt for something different, but I use a small amount and one tube has last me forever so at the moment, I am very content. :)

I am new to Fekkai products and have found some of them to be excellent. The Luscious Curls Cream however was disappointing. Yes it smells great as all FF products; is a nice consistency; good quality ingredients and nice packaging BUT for the high price, didn't do anything that any drugstore leave-in conditioner would do. I have naturally curly 2c/3a hair with some dryness on the top layers, and my hair soaked this up but it did not define the curl or act as a styling product. Just not worth the money, and if you want something to define the curl and hold the style you will need to try something else. As I said it doesn't work as a styling product, only a leave-in conditioner. My next purchase of FF products will be some more Salon Glaze and Glossing Cream - fantastic. I am also going to try the Summer Hair leave-in conditioner as I would like something with UV protection.

Just some background on my hair: My hair can be brushed somewhat (frizzy) straight, or with products can be defined into loose-ish spirally curls/waves. I am 100% Chinese, by the way.
When I first tried this product I was so disappointed! The smell is all right (many people like it, I personally am not a fan of it though), and the good thing about this cream is that it's lightweight and doesn't hold your your curls down. However, this cream also has NO holding power whatsoever, and I tried a bunch of different ways to get it to do what it's supposed to do: I scrunched, I twisted, everything, but all I was left with was a mess of non-defined curls.. although I must say that it made my hair quite shiny. I've found that the best way for me to make this work decently would be to wash my hair (shampoo, conditioner, etc.), and add a frizz-controlling/curl-defining mousse (Using Liese's Wave-Up foam in No. 2), and then when my hair is dry and then coat each individual lock of hair. It's extremely troublesome and tiring, but it does make the curls even more defined/less frizzy, shiny and all that. I'm not sure if I would repurchase. If the product wasn't so incredibly expensive, I probably would, but for its price, I expect it to at least be able to hold curl without having to use any other products.

This did nothing for my 3b hair. I would have to use an obscene amount to get any kind of hold or definition... but oh my, the SMELL. This is one of the best-scented hair products I have ever tried. And that is the only thing it has going for it, unfortunately.

The bottle lasts awhile, I'm on the line about whether I would repurchase. John Freida Dream Curls spray is almost identical, for a better price. There's a fine line about how much to use without making your hair crunchy. But overall I will use it when I'm in a pinch and I wanna let my naturally wavy hair down to enhance the texture without having to heat style.

This is my HG styling product for my wavy/curly hair. I have fine blonde hair (but a lot of it!) and nothing works better than this product. It smells great and the best part is it's not sticky. Unfortunately Sephora in Canada stopped carrying Fekkai so I've had more trouble finding it (finally found it at Holt Renfrew yesterday). I've tried a few other brands in the meantime including Pureology and AG and both were terrible, leaving my strands sticky. This Fekkai creme disappears into my hair, and doesn't leave my hair crunchy, sticky or frizzy.
It works best when I spread a small amount through one-inch sections of my hair, twist the strands and let it air-dry.
The only downside is it's expensive ($24 CDN) and you don't get a ton of product.

I picked up the sample size of this to try it out (it's pretty expensive) and I was very happy with the results. I have long, wavy asian hair that is stick straight in some places but almost curly in others. This product gave a nice effect to all of my hair - a beachy, defined wave. But it doesn't do much in the way of hold, so I have to follow up with a gel. It does dry crunchy, but if you scrunch when it's dry then it will soften up. I towel dry after showering, then scrunch in about a nickel-sized dollop. I apply a generic gel over that. I will not repurchase due to its price, but I was happy with what it did.

I got mine for free from a friend that works in a salon, but now that I know what this costs I doubt I'll purchase. It smells really wonderful and I like the packaging, but the results I'm seeing aren't anything too spectacular. My hair is naturally wavy, and when using this cream I notice a difference in definition, but not enough to spend that kind of money on. Meh.

I like that the cream gives soft waves and curls that can be reactivated with the spray, even looking better the next day! I have to initially start with damp hair to get the best results. And if I don't re-scrunch after the product has dried, it has a feel of hold...some describe as crunch. But it is not bad, and seems to add definition. I like the scent it has and the packaging. The price is a bit steep, and I have to use a bit more of the product to get the results I like. But, I like to keep it around for my "going natural" days, giving my hair a much needed break from heat styling. So yes, I will repurchase. Here is a pic with the cream and wave spray in my hair.

I forgot i even had this product and decided to use it the other day. After i got out of the shower i put about a quarter size amount in my towel dried hair, then i scrunched a little with sunsilk frizz ease - i never blow dry, so i just let it air dry, it did dry a little crunchy. When i woke up the next morning majority of the crunchiness was gone and my hair was super soft, barely frizzy and my curls were nice and defined. I'm going to start using it again, i wish i had never forgotten about it!

I've been wanting to try this product for a long time now, and I finally bought a tube...for $20! I think that is fairly expensive for the amount you get, but whatever, I already bought it. I'll start by saying that this by no means works miracles. My hair is very thick and wavy with out of control poof/frizz if i don't maintain it. As far as curling ability, this product works much better than others I've tried. It actually makes my hair look like I curled it with a curling iron. The smell is fantastic...to me anyways. The only downside of this product is the price. Since my hair is only shoulder length now, I don't need a ton of product. If my hair were longer, I'd need more cream and it would not be worth it. At this point, I'm saying I will repurchase...when I have an extra $20 hanging around.

I don't like this product, it doesn't even do that much for frizz, and it didn't help define my waves/curls at all.
I gave it one extra lippie just because it smells so good.

I ran out of my Arrojo Frizz Control, and bought this at Ricky's instead. It is merely adequate, especially when compared to the Arrojo product which is more effective and about $5 cheaper.

The only thing this does for me or my hair is make me smell like lemons. Used alone it did nothing and combined with other products (as curly stlying products are often ment to be) was pointless too. The point of the product escapes me...I won't repurchase.

It comes in a tube with pink color gloss cream, the scent is very plesant but seriously other than that this is not a styling product.
It holds no curl, very oily it weighs down my curls, would not buy again

Sephora SA recommended this to me, along with handing me a stack of samples for the hair mask. I took it along on a recent vacation, because it is travel sized, along with some of the samples. I learned that using this after my hair was conditioned with the mask resulted in soft ringlets that became frizzy after a short while. My hair felt amazing and wonderful, but got quite poofy towards the end of the day (humid, windy weather). Back when I lived in the desert, I would have loved a product like this, despite the price. Unlikely to buy this again -- unless I move back to New Mexico -- but I'm pretty keen on the mask.
