I have shoulder lenght color treated hair and these actually don't dry out my hair and it is still easy to comb thru after the shower. The best part is that the fresh, slightly floral vanilla scent lasts the whole day.

Horrible stuff! Dried out my dry hair even more than before I used it. Smell was ok...not a true vanilla bean in my opinion. Wouldn't waste my time or money repurchasing.

I am a product snob, i very rarely try drugstore brands, I usually spend way too much on my hair products from a beauty supply store... but money is tight with the holidays almost here, so i thought i'd grab some shampoo and conditioner while i was grocery shopping yesterday.... Alberto Vo5 has a new formula and scent called 'fresh vanilla bean' so i took a snif and thought i'd give it a try, for $1.99 for a 22.5 oz bottle, i had little to lose! I have shoulder length, color/highlighted hair that i straight iron daily and wash daily... it is dry and damaged. I was so impressed with this shampoo and conditioner!! it smells great - and the scent lingers after i styled my hair, not overly strong. just little whifs of vanilla beans! mmmmmmm - and i had NO knots or dryness, it is really a great formula, and the price is outrageous! try this, i think you will be pleasantly surprised!!
