Am glad they discontinued this. My powder moulded in a week or two.

While I haven't noticed any cooling effects, I do love the subtle youthful glow the highlighter (a light peachy-pink) lends to my cheeks (I lightly dust it on after I've applied my blush). It cost $1.99 at National Wholesale Liquidators: I'm going back to get a few more while they're still available.

I love the cooling sensation once it touches your skin. However, it contains 'micas' which in turns accentuate your pores. I like it over the blush.

I bought this at Big Lots and had no expectations for it whatsoever. Well I'm pleasantly surprised to say the least. Every time I put this on, I get compliments from almost everyone. It really perks up my complexion and it's very light with great staying power. The cooling sensation's nice, but I'm far more impressed with the way this stuff just livens up my skin without making it look like a shimmery mess (as with most highlighting powders). My only regret is that they're discontinuing this item.

I'm not liking this, but I'm not hating this. I'm sort of indifferent to this. I have both the Translucent and Highlighter colors (Highlighter is a pale, shimmery pink), both of which I got on sale at CVS for $2.50 each.

It goes on fabulously smoothly, and the cooling sensation is WONDERFUL...not long lasting, but that part does feel great for a while. It gives me a bit of a glow, without looking shiny and like I doused my face with baby oil. It isn't really that great for oil control, but I did use it without a foundation underneath and that could have made a difference. It might perform better with a foundation (if I could ever find one that WORKS RIGHT!!!). The puff that is included is adequate, but most of the time I use a fluffy brush. Just make sure you screw the lid down tight, to keep this from drying out.

One word you need to remember with this...MODERATION. Too much, and you look like you stuck your face in the glitterpot. Use a very light hand, and try a big fluffy brush instead of the enclosed spongy-puff thing.

I might get more usage out of this in the summer, when I'm sure I'll appreciate the "cooling sensation" more.

I bought this powder a few months ago out of curiosity - how can it contain 50% water? I loved the cool feeling upon application, but after that - yuck. Streaky & way too shimmery. I looked stupid. This went straight into the drawer (I never throw anything out). Then, horror of horrors: A week ago I got this out, opened it & noticed a musty odor. Looking closely, on the edge of the puff, was MILDEW!! Yes, black mildew like you see in a campground shower stall. Since I got it on sale for $6 I didn't pursue this w/ the company, but maybe I should have. Avoid this stuff!

I bought this powder based on the reviews and it was only 4.99 at CVS the local chain drugstore. It didn't do anything, no shine, no nothing. I'm glad you all like it. Just didn't work for me.

This is one of my staples. I found it at Big Lots, so I thought, why not give it a try? Now I can't live without it! The cooling effect is wonderful on the face. It gives me a dewy glow but without the shine.

This is a tad pricey for a drugstore product and the relatively small amount you get, but it does feel amazing when you apply it to your skin, more like a liquidy cream than a powder. Very refreshing.

I am a confirmed powderholic searching for that perfect one--not matte, not too frosty, just kind of glowing. Upon reading the reviews on MUA for this powder I bought it in translucent and was thrilled when it rang up for less than $6.00 when it was originally priced at more like $11.00. Well, once I put it on I thought this isn't going to work, it felt odd and didn't seem to cover. But once on, it just became part of my skin, it just kind of melted in instead of settling on top and I couldn't believe how good it made my skin look. I didn't even wear base, just powder and blush. It lasted the whole day without sliding off my face or turning dark--bad, bad, bad for my fair complexion--and I have actually gotten oilier with powders that are supposed to control shine. I took the advice of a review that said to just try it because I would probably be thrilled with the results, and I totally was!! I only hope the low price wasn't because it's being discontinued. . .next I'm going to try the cooling aqua blush stick and hope for similar results!

Love love and more love for this powder! I was so wanting PX's liquid magic powder, but didn't want to fork out the 30 some dollars! I got 2 of these powders (translucent and highlighter) for 3 dollars each, totally worth it! I will def. repurchase when I run out!!

I'm not really liking this too much. I bought it today. It feels good upon first contact, like water, very cold and nice. It's cakey though, doesn't blend and just sits there on your skin in spots. I don't like the shimmer either. This is such a cool concept but it doesn't work for me. I'm sorry I wasted $10 on it.

I just bought this as an alternative to Prescriptives Magic Powder. This is really nice. It does have a cool feel to it and it does not feel "powdery" after I put it on. In fact I don't feel anything. It has the slightest shimmer to it but just gives me a glow. You don't notice any actual shimmer at all. Love the effect. I would like to say I would buy this again, but because I'm shallow and prefer high end products, as soon as this is used up I'll probably get the Prescriptives powder. But if not for that, I would definitely buy this again.

Wow! I am really liking this loose powder! I bought it acouple of months ago and basically left it sitting at the bottom of my makeup box. Acouple of days ago I was looking for just a light powder to help with the oilies and rediscovered this under all my other powders. The cooling effect is amazing! It feels *just* like water going on. Very cooling and relaxing! I bought the translucent powder so it doesn't provide any color, but there is visable sparkles that make my skin glow. All I used was alittle bit of undereye concealer and the looser powder dusted on my face and my skin looked absolutely radiant! I was really suprised! Try this one out, you might love it just as much as I do!

This is a knockoff of the Prescriptives Magic Powder. I've used both and can't tell any difference. I would agree with the other reviewer that the price break isn't as great as you might think when you discover that the Physicians Formula version gives you only .3 oz of powder as opposed to about 1 oz in the Magic container. At 10 bucks a jar for the PF that's 1/3 of the Px product for 1/3 of the $32 Px cost, no price break at all, really. I do think this is a nice option for someone who's thinking about trying the Magic but discouraged by the $30 price tag. With this product you can try the concept with a much smaller investment. Also having a smaller amount of product may not be such a bad deal as the Magic powder tends to dry out after a period of time (there are various suggestions for rehabilitating it, but I've never gotten it to feel as cool and wet as it does when initially purchased). With this product at least you've used most of it when it starts to dry out and can just purchase a fresh jar.

As for the concept of water-based powders, both the PF and Magic powders are nice powders, but IMO really the only thing special about them is the cool, wet sensation you get when you apply them, which is really nice, especially first thing in the morning or on a hot day. However, if cost is an issue for you I'm not sure either powder is worth $30/oz just for the cool, wet effect. If you can find the PF powder I would definitely try it before shelling out $32 for the Px version.

I bought this product after reading that it was a knock-off of Prescriptives Magic Liquid Powder. First of all, this is not really a bargain. Compared to the Px Magic, you get 1/3 of the amount of product for 1/3 of the price, so it's really the same cost. I didn't want to fork over $30+ for a powder that I might not use, so this seemed like a good deal at the time. It feels cool and wet when you put it on (just like the Px Magic does). However, the particles that give the glow might be slightly larger in this than the Px Magic... but I only perceived this difference under natural outdoor light. They are nearly identical products. Between this and Magic, I would buy the Magic if $30 is not too much to lay out at once.

This is the absolute worst loose powder I've used. The cooling effect is awesome, which is a bummer because the product is so terrible. My face felt tight, itchy and uncomfortable very soon after application, and within a day I had broken out, which I hardly ever do. Surprising, since this is partially water based. Very disappointing.
