I use Citre Shine Mist, Anti-Frizz Spray Laminator almost every day. It really makes a difference in the appearance of my hair. You only need 2 or 3 sprays and it makes your hair look so shiny and gorgeous; like you just came from the salon! Because you only need to use a couple sprays each time, the bottle lasts for a long time. My bottle isn't even half empty after using it daily for 2 months. You get a quality product for a low price. This is the perfect product to finish off your hair routine. It's not greasy AT ALL (unless you spray it an inch away from your roots) and definitely adds that extra "oomph" to your hair.

I actually received this product years ago as a gift and received a single piece of valuable advice - use it sparingly or your hair will look greasy. Hence, I either use it on wet hair to distribute it through my hair, or use it on the lower half of dry hair. Either way, my hair looks noticeably more shiny. The spray pump distributes the product well, plus it smells quite nice. My only issue is that I would have no clue where to buy this in Australia, if it is available here, because this stuff is excellent!

Okay so I'm not sure if it made my hair shiny or glossy (I've used Fekkai Gloss and that one I noticed right away after I sprayed) at all but what it did for me was detangle detangle detangle which is not what the product is for but it's awesome at it. My hair gets tangles alot because it's really dry and ALWAYS gets tangle after a wash but everytime I use this right after I wash my hair it helps detangle very quickly that I'm able to brush my whole head through in 2 minutes.It also makes my hair very soft and healthier looking so it makes it not look dry and brittle but still, I don't think it makes it shiny. I spray very close to my head unlike what everyone else is doing. I do 10-15 sprits after I towel dry my hair for a couple of minutes. I love this and so glad I found it and thanks to all other MA reviewers. I got this for $2.76 (at first I thought it'd be impossible to find since many reviewers are having trouble but I found it at Wal-mart) which I can't believe how cheap the price is for basically a detangler and this will last a year or more with it's generous amount.

I really like this stuff! I used it in high school, and saw that it really made my hair healthier somehow. maybe it sealed the split ends or something.. Anyway, now I use it only on DAMP/WET hair, and I use it quite liberally.. the trick is to put it mainly on the lower half of my hair, and to use it very sparingly around the face.. I feel like putting it on wet hair makes it distribute better to avoid being greasy

This is an EXCELLENT de-tangler to throw into your tote when the family goes to the beach. Doesn't matter if it's too greasy/oily from over-application then: I only want something that'll keep delicate hair conditioned until we get to a real shower. Can't beat the price or smell for that, not to mention the spray bottle is outstanding. Maybe I'll start using it normally after this...

Love this shine mist and it smells so good. It works great on my hair/hair extensions. It adds a great amount of shine, keeps my frizzy ends under control and keeps my hair extensions from getting too dry and unmanageable.


The product is made by Schwarkopf; this company makes my favorite shampoo, conditioner and color treatment for the ends of my hair. The shine mist is reasonably priced and best of all it works. I will purchase this product again...

Luv this!!! I've been using this for sooooo many years...I luv how it makes my hair glossy without looking oily and it does not weigh my hair down.I have thick naturally curly hair that I straighten and 1 spritz of this works like a charm=)

I love this stuff! I got it a few days ago from Rite Aid cuz I was looking for a hair product with a UV protectant and this one just happened to be the one I found. I'd never heard of Citre Shine products before but after reading that it was alcohol-free, had UV protection, and tons of different fruit extracts, i just had to get it. The smell's great and left my hair shiny and soft! A lot of reviews said it left greasy if u put too much, but this morning i went crazy and sprayed a ton in, and my hair's not greasy at all! i think you just have to make sure u don't spray it on your hairline. overall, great product!:)

I love this! It's cheap & it adds shine without weighing hair down. Be careful, you have to spray a good six inches away, kinda like spraying a perfume into air & walking into it. Or else you'll end up with super greasy heavy hair. Love the scent. Before it was citrusy, but when Schwarzkopft bought Citre Shine, it's now more crisp, like an apple. It would be great if it's an aerosol, so you can evenly spray throughout the hair.

I really like this product. It does give my hair a very nice shine. I like the citrus scent and the spray packaging. This product can be too oily if you spray it directly into your hair. Instead, I would spray 2x into my hand, rub it between my palms and then run it through my hair.

Terrific product! Adds a nice glossy shine to my black hair and helps with frizz. This product can totally make your hair look greasy/dirty if you put in too much - I have a bob, and what I do is spritz my hand once, rub together and then run it through my hair (underneath first to get off excess) and then on top. Perfect!

This shine spray is amazing! It makes your hair so shiny whenever it is dull. You just need a little tiny bit to get the job done. If you have fine hair, i would recommend spraying some into your hands and then applying it to your hair. It can leave your hair oily if you use too much, so be careful w/ it. I will probably rebuy this for as long as they make this.

i dont think this is sold in canada anymore. i havent see it in years. i use to use it years ago and i loved it. it would give my hair a nice sheen and never made my hair oily.

i first used this product 18 yrs ago. i was in college and had never seen any products to add shine to hair, other than claims made by advertisements for various shampoos and conditioners. i wore my hair one length, long, and straight then, and though it was so healthy it shined naturally, this gave it that extra oomph. people stopped me on the street to ask about my hair.
i have worn my hair in many styles since and have tried so many shine sprays as this one is so hard to find. i am always disappointed in the others. they either look greasy, or literally do nothing. this is really great stuff, i wish i had some now, more searching to do!

i found a bottle at rite aide and am thrilled! i have only tried so many other looking for something that works, when i cannot find this, the bottle has a third more than usual which is great too. i have used 3 other brands in the last few mos and all are lacking in some way. too greasy, terrible smell, sat on hair surface and did nothing, and on and on. this just does the trick with no problems.

Love this stuff!

I have baby fine hair, so I don't want anything heavy that will weigh it down.

I just do a light misting by holding the bottle about 10 inches away and spraying lightly.

Definitely a "must miss" for me. No matter how CAREFULLY I used this product it always left my hair wayyy to greasy/oily looking. Light handed, EXTRA light handed, etc, it just didn't agree with my hair at all. Price tag is great though. I'll pass on repurchase.

I've been using this since high school. Occasionally when I can't find it, I will literally go on a scavenger hunt specifically to find it because it is THAT good. I tried the Fekkai Shine Mist for a while and it was alright, but considering the price, this stuff is far more effective, in general and cost-wise. I hope they never discontinue it because I really don't know what I would do.

I have probably gone through 30 bottles of this since I started using it, years ago. I use it as a flat iron spray. I don't like normal flat iron sprays because they typically contain a lot of sticky, hairspray-esque stuff that I really don't think is necessary, since I have very curly hair and do not require it to keep my hair straight. However, I do like to use something to protect my hair a bit, and this is perfect. I spray it on each section before ironing, and the result is straight, frizz-free, and shiny---- but NOT greasy, no matter how much I put on, I think the iron burns a lot of it off. Anyways, I haven't found anything I like better than this, and I have tried a lot of brands, expensive and otherwise.
