Quiet, unassuming color - no idea why I decided to buy this. But this is a real workhorse for me for workdays. Makes me look done without all "look at the eyeshadow!!" perfect for meetings.
Love, love, love Nars.

I bought Blondie from Sephora, along with Bali and Biarritz. Described as "taupe," I fully expected to love Blondie the most loved of my new trio, but unfortunately, it looked the worst. I could detect no grey in it, which would make it a taupe. On me, Blondie is a warm, medium-toned caramel brown, similar to Laura Mercier Cafe au Lait. I removed 2 lippies for color/description, but Blondie is typical of NARS eyeshadows: nicely pigmented, easy to layer for low to high impact, and it blends like a dream. I imagine Blondie would also make a great eyebrow powder, especially on warmer skin tones. For reference, I am fair cool-neutral NW15 with (naturally) light ash brown hair and blue-green-grey eyes.

I am a self proclaimed neutral fanatic. I ended up getting this, portobello duo and madrugue duo. While all 3 are very similar, they are different..ever so slightly. Blondie seems to have a lot of red undertones depending on what I pair it with but is still wearable on me. It looks like a creamy lighter than milk chocolate in the pan and goes on fairly true to color. The pigmentation is amazing and it's silky smooth and easy to blend. Overall fantastic!! It's definitely a staple in my piles of nudes. I find myself wearing this daily on my MAC NC30-35 skin tine.

I always keep a backup for this shadow.. it is one of my favourites and it goes with just about all shadows from browns, blacks to navy blues -- it is a great one to use over the contour color which might be dark and smooth out towards the temple. It works on the lid and also on the lower lid.. in short, it is an almost perfect skin color with chutzpah!
I took off a lippie because I HATE NARS packaging which gets gummy and messed up after awhile... it is ugly to the touch.

Beautiful texture. Well pigmented. Matt brown that should work beautifully in any skin tone. Normally I don't like matte brown on me cuz some how matte brown always appears wired/dirty on me. This one don't look wired on me. Not sure if I will repurchase it as its on pricey side as a single eyeshadow. Thinking palate probably is better choice and should save some money by doing so.

I like everything about it! The texture, application and effects. For light skinned people this makes for a great daytime, toned down, beige smokey eye. Good by itself to wash over the entire lid, good with whitish shades to create subtle depth/contouring and good as a base w/ darker shadows. After seeing tips here, I tried it on my brows and it is works there as well! A matte-nude, light light brown color. Not the most noticeable color, but can make a natural face noticeable.

I've recently become a fan of grown-up utilitarian eyeshadows, such as this one as opposed to the flashy club kid MAC + Urban Decay colors of my late teens and very early 20's. Blondie is a neutral matte fawn brown, completely absent of any weird muddy undertones. Having light hair, I use it as a brow powder primarily. I've heard that on some people it can go slightly pink but i haven't had this problem. I've also used it all over my lid with Nar's 'Edie' on my brow-bone and slightly washed over the whole lid to give it a slightly dewy, daytime look. This eyeshadow, like everything else Nars is a bit pricey ($21) but I find it justified considering that I use it nearly everyday. Top notch in packaging, color, product consistancy. tres bien, francois!

I got this after reading "What You Wear Can Change Your Life" by Trinny and Susannah. It's a great light brown/beige matte. I wear it under All About Eve or just by itself. As with all Nars, fabulous packaging, great pigmentation and exorbitant price.

Light, matte sandy beige with a slightly gray undertone. Not super exciting but it makes a good crease color, and I always appreciate a workable beige. It's an unsung staple sort of thing--a workhorse but it'll never gets the credit it deserves. Anyway, NARS' own Cairo is a lighter, sheerer version of this with a faintly satiny sheen and works well on the lid with Blondie in the crease. I might repurchase this, might not.

Great neutral brown/beige color, more on the cool side. Can be worn day to night and layered for increased intensity. Long-lasting and doesn't crease up. Slightly pricey, but it has become an everyday staple, will definitely rebuy.

Another good Nars staple. I like to use light browns as a wash or combined with bright shimmery shadows. Love the fact that it's matte and cool/neutral--no funky, muddy undertones. Hope they come out with trasparent covers someday.

I can see why this doesn't have many reviews as it's not a very exciting looking color, but this is a really great staple to have in your collection. It's a nice matte brown that's maybe a bit lighter than what I would call medium brown. Very neutral and I think would pair well with most colors. I like it as a crease color. I often have trouble with browns looking orangey once they're on my skin but no problem with this one. Blends well too. I also have many, many Mac shadows and in my opinion there isn't a Mac dupe of this. On the pricey side but I think it's worth it.
I'm NC20 at my palest, NC30 at my darkest, brown hair, golden brown eyes.

Blondie is a good inner eye shadow for me. Makes my eyes look closer together and evens out my face.

I love NARS Blondie!! This is a very natural light honey brown. Gives you a very natural contour in your crease without looking like obvious eyeshadow. This is a matte color, also. I wear this almost everyday...of course I'd buy it again! Oh, and it just makes my blue eyes POP!!

A nice neutral fawn color, pretty in the crease and as a liner for day. Very natural, and matte. Good everyday shadow, wouldn't quite cut it for evening though!
