I love this product and felt it really did create firmness, particularly around my jaw area. A few years back I used it consistently. However, I then found it impossible to find. Since many of these reviews are pretty recent I am hopeful that Neutrogena reintroduced the product.
I was also crazy about the body lotion.

I have the 2.25" jar with the copper screw-on top. The box says 'active copper' and 'new improved formula'. I purchased this in late 2010 so I'm not sure whether there is a difference in formula.
I use this almost every night after a shower on my face and neck. It has a very light scent and is not greasy. I use a small spatula to remove the amount I want so I don't need to dip a finger in.
I really like the blue color, scent, and the fact that it isn't greasy, yet moisturizing. I might purchase again, if I can locate it.

This is an underrated fantastic moisturizer. It contains copper peptide which is supposed to firm skin via collagen remodelling. I got it for that purpose but find that is is one of the best moisturizers ever. It does not need to be used just at night. I layer this all the time over other treatment products like retin-a. I don't detect fragrance in this. It is blue due to the copper ingredients. Neutrogena needs to make this line more widely available. There is serum also in line and it is great too. My skin stays moisturized for more than 24 hrs when I use this. It is luxurious and a wonderful cream. It is hard to find in stores but available on drugstore.com. I always come back to this.

Leaves my skin super soft. I wear it during the day too. Moisturizers with sunscreen tend to make my skin break out. So this one is perfect for day and night. It doesn't make me oily or break out. It also evens out my skin tone and texture. I've been using it for a little less than a week now. I will definitely buy it again. Although, I wish it came in a pump form, not a jar.

This product does what it claims. Within about 2 weeks you will see improvement on your skin's firmness, texture and elasticity. Leaves no oily or thick heavy sensation on your face...within a minute you will feel that you have nothing on...perfect for a great night of sleep!
PS: Dont forget to apply to neck too

I am usually skeptical about night creams that promise lifting, firming, etc.; but this one does deliver on those promises. While it is never going to make me look 35 again, I have noticed a difference in the firmness of my neck and face. I use this as a night cream over
Estee Lauder's Re-Nurtive serum and under my makeup, along with another product with sunscreen. I will buy this one again and again.

I don't know about the firming qualities of this cream but it is too heavily perfumed for a night cream. If you are sensitive to fragrances then steer clear of this one unless you want to wake up with a headache. UPDATE - I have used about half of this now. I have also been using the Visibly Firm day time lotion. I will definitely not buy this again. The texture of my skin looks awful since I started using this. I am very disappointed.

I don't know about the firming quality of this product, as I understand that it doesn't have enough copper in it to really make a difference, but I still like it a lot. It absorbs quickly into the skin, feels great, and definitely makes my skin look brighter and more hydrated. I hate feeling anything on my skin, but this product has never bothered me. I am not nuts about the jar (vs. a pump bottle), but I use a q-tip to get the cream out of the jar without contaminating it. The day lotion of this is good as well. My CVS has this at 50% off right now, so I'm guessing between writing this review and the big markdowns this product is doomed to be discontinued. Hopefully I'm wrong, but if not, stock up!

I bought this a while ago, used for a bit and then it found itself in the back on my cupboard. I have recently begun reaching for it again, and using it in conjunction with my Obagi Tretinoin, have begun seeing some visible results.
I have terrible skin, have had terrible skin all my life from the time I hit puberty at 10. Acne was followed quickly by pitted scarring, that not even laser surgery or excisions have been able to help. Oily skin also led to large pores and to top it all off, laser surgery made melasma and hyperpigmentation worse while helping the scarring very little.
I even tried the Obagi skin care system, but that didn't help too much and now I'm scared to use it because of the warnings about hydroquinone making melasma rebound and come back darker.
So, I've devised my own system and am finally seeing some results for my skin issues. By alternating this Neutrogena Visibly Firm Night Cream with Copper (2 nights) with the Tretinoin (1 night), I am finally seeing my melasma start to fade, my pitted scarring has become a tiny bit shallower and my crow's feet are not as deep and long under my eyes. I've only been doing this for 3 weeks, but since I'd just about given up on anything working, I'm very pleased with the results so far. My skin tone is much brighter and healthier as well.
I have ordered a more active form of copper night cream, but am convinced that the Neutrogena one has been very beneficial in getting my skin prepped for a more active copper. If you are looking for a drugstore copper night cream, this is definitely the one to try!

I haven't been the biggest believer in night creams in the past - I'm an oily skinned gal and the last thing I need is things that make me oilier in the night or break me out, which typically is what has happened. Or, worse, something in them irritates my eyes and I wake up red and puffy around the eyes. I've tried this with Estee Lauder Resilience Lift, Arbonne, Jojoba Oil - they all were too greasy and left me greasier or broken out, and the Arbonne and EL left my eyes puffy. Not a good thing. So, I tried this with a very skeptical attitude but the cream, *works*. I am oily, not a lot of lines yet thanks to the oiliness of my skin, but I'm in my late 30s now and anti-aging is a concern. I want to improve the texture of my skin and correct some areas that have hyperpigmentation and to keep my skin's elasticity. I really notice a change after using this for a few weeks. My neck especially seems firmer, so does the skin under my eye orbital area where the cheekbones connect. My hyperpigmentation right there (light freckling) is softenened. I didn't have really many wrinkles, some fine lines under my eyes and a few tiny ones on the forehead; honestly ,those seem about the same- but the overall appearance of my skin is firmer, smoother and clearer. This does not break me out, make me oilier, or irritate my skin. The jar's mouth is huge and I wish this were in a pump, but other than that, it's a great product. The smell is a bit sun-tannish and a little acidic, but I don't mind it. My cream has a weird light bluish cast, but it always did- and it is not noticeable on your skin. Expense for a drugstore product, around $18 to $20, but worth it. Department store brands would charge twice to three times as much and I doubt they would work as well.

I love this product. I know people think I'm a little too young to start with the skin firming products, but when my mom was my age she got really bad bags under her eyes and had to have surgery to remove them. When I started to notice dark circles under my eyes I have to admit I was a bit worried, so I went through all her old products and found this one. Within a week they were gone. Even after a long night of studying or hanging out with friends you can never tell I look exhausted, all you see is glowing (zit free!) healthy looking skin. And a plus, people always compliment my skin.✌

Here's another product that I wanted to love but alas, it just didn't work out for me. First, I have to say that I love the texture and the scent of it. Just heavenly! And it was only $20, too. It made my skin feel soft and smooth, but after a few days I began to break out. I gave it to my mom who loves it. I have oily skin; she has dry. I think I will try the serum version.

I use this at night over my EL Advanced Night Repair. I love the texture, and it soaks right into my skin without leaving it greasy. It's improved my skin's texture, that's for sure. The pot that it comes in is a little too small and deep--hard to get the cream out with a lot of it ending up under my nails. I love the smell.

I had read good reports on this product but i didnt feel it really made much difference for me. I agree with the previous review. In the past because of my breakouts i have been reluctant to wear a moisturiser anyways... but now being in my 30s i want my skins texture and overall appearance to be more dewey and help control the winter dryness.... this product is only ok at moisturising and i think as far as the other claims of firming or helping control fine lines i think it falls short. I dont see myself purchasing this product again. Instead im going to keep on with my search. ill report if i do find anything good.

This was my first ever night cream. I received this as a hand-me-down from my mother, who didn't find it moisturizing enough for her mature skin. Anyways, while this was good introductory skincare product for my then 19 or 20 year old skin, I would not repurchase and would not recommend it to anyone seeking to prevent wrinkles, sagging, or age spots. It hydrates, but doesn't do much more. Right now, I prefer using either EL visible difference, Borghese/Kirkland night cream or L'occitane Immortelle Precious Cream.

I LOVE Neutrogena Visibly Firm Night Cream with Copper! This stuff works for me like no other drugstore face cream that I've ever used.
To be sure, I wanted to wait a while to write this reveiw and now I can because I have been using this cream almost every night for a month (my jar is practically gone.) The best thing I can say is that it really brightens your skin from the first application. I hate that it's in a jar because the cream's surface is exposed. I feel so much safer using a tube to apply creams and such because I know that the product is staying as sanitary as possible. Anyway, aside from that, IT WORKS. I feel a slight soothing sensation when I put it on and it absorbs cleanly and quickly. No breakouts from it either. I had one fine line inbetween my eyebrows that is now gone after using this cream for three weeks so I really am a big fan. Will DEFINATELY repurchase at $17 a jar!

First, let me say that I hate products that come in jars. Talk about disgusting. Other than that, this cream is perfection. I know that people get testy when they see the under-30s reviewing anti-aging creams, but I love this stuff. After having 2 babies in the last 2 years, I never, ever get any sleep. My skin was looking dull, tired and showing some early lines around my eyes. This cream really has worked wonders. I wake up with super-smooth skin, and I love how the tone and texture has improved. I can't say if it helps with deep lines, but I'm really happy with what I've seen so far.

Love this stuff! I wake up to firmer and smoother skin every time I use it! Does what it says. This will always be a tried and true standby for me!

I love Love LOVE this product!!!! My skin is extremely smooth and radiant after using this product. I love how soothing this cream is, also. I have definitely noticed some firming action along my jawline and around my mouth, but it did take a while to start seeing any results -- maybe 4 or 5 weeks. I am now applying it to my eyelids to see if I can get that area to firm up a little. I have just purchased my second jar and plan to continue purchasing this as long as Neutrogena keeps making it. My one complaint is that this is supposed to be stored out of direct sunlight but is packaged in a clear jar. I do wish they would change the packaging to something more protective of the product.
