I was so impressed after I applied this foundation! 106 natural beige was a perfect match for my nc 30 skin tone and was soo comparable to my Estée Lauder double wear coverage wise, but within 2hours this was a completely different story! It oxidised, emphasised my dry patches and overall just looked a mess!

I love this foundation! I have quite red cheeks but this covers it nicely and stays on all day. I've been using this for around 3 years now, I haven't changed foundation since. It stays matte all day, but doesn't make my skin appear dry. I would definitely recommend this.

did not like this one at all! very silicone-y an FULL of acne iritating ingredients and l'm talking about - stearic acid, dimethicone,Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate, talc!! Jesus so much clogging a skin can not take! Otherwise - very nice application, last on (dry) skin around 8 hrs, skin does look kinda airbrushed. l'd say it is a medium buildable coverage without looking cakey but paler skin shades such as 100 and 101 are very grayish! :S anyway if you have skin that is not sensitive to certain ingredients l'd say go for it but the rest of you - be warned my friends cause this will break you out like nothing ever has! overall 1/5

I usually wear this foundation when I go out as it does last a long time and leaves a matte finish. I prefer a semi-matte finish as I think it looks more natural on my skin.
On first application I was really impressed! It looked flawless and I felt confident. Only an hour or so later I looked into the mirror and it had oxidized!!! Not terribly. But it just looked horrible :(
But on the plus side it gave a lovely medium coverage and did last the whole night.
But I won;t be buying again...
Sorry Max Factor xox

I am impressed with this foundation. For being a drugstore brand it certainly works well. I bought this foundation in Natural Bronze 109 to mix with a lighter shade of foundation which is too Pink and light for my skin tone, this was the perfect shade to mix with that. I recommend applying this with a foundation brush to give that flawless smooth look. Also, much of the product gets absorbed into the brush, so that way it goes on with a natural finish.I would say that it doesn't have a completely matte finish, but it doesn't make your skin look oily, or shiny..to me it just puts that little shine in the right places. The coverage is build able, but just one application of this was enough for me. I haven't noticed anything I didn't really like about this, I would give this one a definite thumbs up. :)

Comparable to my estee lauder double wear! Not as goos coverage though and not as long lasting. Its transfer-resistant which nice applys well but does go a shade darker within the first hour you wear it so go for a shade lighter than your skintone. Suitable more for oily/combo skin but people with dry skin can use it they use a good moisturiser and a moisturising primer underneath. Not a great color selection.I do not use this because in australia they do not stock my shade which 100fair they start from 2 shades darker 102 pastel! So annoying the only good drugstore foundation that does not break me out!

I bought this product, hoping that it would be very good and finally i've found the foundation for me. However, i was very disappointed with this product, although i do like the packaging that is the only thing i like about this product. The foundation dries even before i have put it on my skin and it is very hard to smooth and blend it in. The colour also looks slightly odd and yellowish on my skin. But maybe i've bought it in the wrong shade but overall, i will not be repurchasing this products..

I wear this foundation for going out and very very rarely in the daytime, as I prefer a lighter coverage for daytime. I tend to use it with a primer but it is OK without as long as you are well moisturised as it has a tendancy to flake on dry spots on my nose. I find it dries pretty quick so you have to blend it in quickly and well, and also it darkens a bit within a few minutes of application so be sure to find some good lighting and check it's blended in well! It lasts all night and yeah would generally recommend it - I will certainly be repurchasing!

Age: 18 & Under   Skin: Very Oily, Fair   Hair: Brown   Eyes: Blue

I brought this to combine with another foundation in a dark shade to suit my skin tone over the course of my holiday. I got it for £6.50, but I know usually it's more expensive. I was expecting quite a lot, I trust Max Factor and I love the second skin foundation but wanted a bit more coverage. Unfortunately, this didn't work too well on my skin after the sun had sucked all the moisture from it. The finish was flakey, especially on the dryest patches, such as my nose. But, now that my skin is back to its oily self, this works pretty well. It doesn't oxidise (be sure to test the colour though, it's a lot paler than the bottle lets on, I got the soft beige colour). It is VERY pigmented, I blended this to a ratio of about 1:10 and this shade managed to mostly override the darker colour. I wouldn't wear this in the day, I am a bit worried the colour is a little too yellow, but that's my fault. The place where I bought it has this horrible woman who watches me like a hawk making sure I down steal so it's a bit like choose the product and get out of there asap XD But anyway, this gives good coverage, great for nights out. You can layer this as much as you like and like second skin, it is beautifully non-moisturising. I hate how much foundations tend to target the problem of dry skin, but Max Factor seems to help us oilies out =] It is not too long lasting however. It's kind of average in that department. I'll happily use the foundation I have left, but I won't be purchasing again.
+ Non-oily
+ Good coverage
+ Simple effective tube packaging
+ Matte finish
- Flakes on dry patches
- Not too long lasting
- Obvious that you're wearing foundation if viewed up close and/or in the sun.

I have been using this foundation for 9 years and will NEVER change to another. It's the only foundation that doesn't feel heavy on my skin or skip off my very oily face after an hour! I set this with a pressed powder and the result is fantastic. I think this gives full coverage without looking cakey and lasts all day. The price is great and when you no longer can squeeze any more product out, you can cut the top open and there's still LOADS of foundation still inside! :)

This is alright for a reasonably priced foundation. I wouldn't say it's one of the best foundations i've ever tried but it does work well as a cover up. It's not heavy, and it gives a good matte finish, I have fairly ivory skin which this seemed to match up to quite well. I found that in order for this to stay on throughout the day, you'd have to use quite a bit of it, which sort of defeats the object of it being a light weight foundation. I'm indifferent when it comes to this. It'll do until pay day :)

I love this foundation. I've been using it for about 9 years now and have tried more expensive brands thinking that they can top this but they never do. I have very fair skin and the 100 Fair shade is perfect for me. The foundation stays on my face most of the day and I have quite oily skin. I have acne prone skin but it has never broken me out. It gives good coverage and blends into your skin well.

My sister had some of this foundation and let me use it. She mixs her fair100 with other colours as she's a little bit darker then me but not too much. I'm very pale and even the lightest colours don't look right on me. However, I think this was a bit too pale so I added to darker powder and bronzer.

It has a good coverage, nothing amazing, but it covers some of my spots (i've only got mild acne) although some times you can still see them but I guess that's what concealer is for. However, it reduces redness.

The only problem is, I've notice two spots creep up on my face, but I'm not sure if it's due to this product or not, just thought i'd let you know. I'd say wear a primer or some moisturiser no matter how oily your skin is.

Overall, I would buy this again as it's an affordable price, you can get a tube on ebay for £7, and it also lasts for a long time.

Ok so I have very dry skin (especially in the winter) and I am also very fair. The girls that have very pale skin will agree with me on this, especially the ones who live in small countries - you can barely find a decent fondation for your skin tone. I`ve been using for a while now the L`oreal Accord Parfait in Ivory Rose. It was still a little too dark for me and had a very mat and dry finish, which didn`t agree with my skin type at all.
I`ve been looking for a good fondation in all the wrong places: I`ve even tried expensive brands but they still didn`t have my color. I even got ripped off with the Lancome Teint Miracle one which looked good at that counter, but when I got home, it was probably 3 shades darker then my skin.
A month ago I discovered this Max Factor one by accident - wow! For all you very pale skined girls, try it! The shade 100 fair... is pretty damn pale.
It`s perfect for dry skin. I saw a lot of comments that said that it`s good for oily skin and I find that weird. It does wonders for my dry skin, it keeps it very normal looking and my dry patches don`t show off at all. It looks perfectly moisturized. It has a very creamy and blendable texture.
It doesn`t have a heavy coverage so if you are looking for that, this might not be the perfect fondation for you. It`s kind of a medium coverage if you ask me...maybe a little bit less. One thing`s for sure: if you have blemishes (like I do), you will need a concealer.
I can`t tell if it`s sweat proof yet, but I will get back on that. So far so good.
In conclusion, if you have dry skin and you`re having a hard time finding a decent pale fondation, you should definitely try this one out!

This foundation really covers all of my acne! and it last all day. I bought it in the wrong color (Pastelle 102) but I use it in the summer.
The only downside is that it is REALLY expensive.

I used to use very heavy foundations to cover my birthmark/acne breakouts but I found this left me with very cakey skin and dreaded tide marks! I am very fair skinned and the "fair" shade was absolutely perfect. Fair tones tend to be too pink/yellow but this one is a much creamier shade which is perfect as I find pink ones leave you looking like you're wearing cheap foundation and yellow just makes me look like I'm trying to look tanned! The foundation is lovely to blend, very smooth, and when I wear it over a heavier concealor it stops it from looking as though I have patches of heavier coverage. The bottle is great! Never spills into my makeup bag and much better than a pump as you get exactly what you need- also better than glass because it can't smash and when it runs out you can cut it open to use the last bit- perfect! I found mine very cheap in a little makeup store, about £4.

I've only just started using this product and I must say, it's a new fav of mine!
Lately, I've been loving foundations that don't feel too heavy on the skin; this is definitely one of them. It gives me good coverage (not too full though) that's enough for me as I don't have a lot of blemishes.
It also blends really nicely (I use this with the Everyday Minerals flat top kabuki brush and just stipple it on then buff it in.) It lasts pretty well on my combo skin. I also love the fact that it isn't completely matte on my skin as I do like a teeny bit of dewiness, especially around the top of my cheeks. I would say that this foundation has a satin finish.
My only problem with this is that it does transfer onto surfaces (especially on my phone! :[ ).
Also, I'm an NC30 and I found it slightly difficult finding a shade that matched my skintone perfectly but because blending is really easy with this product, it wasn't a major issue for me.

UPDATE: Well, I guess this foundation is only suited to when the weather is cool, as I have been using it in warmer weather and it melts off in about 10 minutes. Not impressed. Have changed my rating to 1 and wouldn't buy again as I don't like products that I have to put away for half the year, mainly because I then forget I have them!
............
I really like this foundation. I bought it in shade 100 Fair, which is a hair too pale for me so next time I will go for 109 Pastelle.
I have combination skin and have been using Revlon Colourstay for about 18 months. After a while though, I find my skin decides I need something different so I bought this. It is fab. The bottle is great as you can squeeze out just a little and use as much as you need. It glides over my skin and creates a smooth base. I don't even need to use primer with this as it has such a smooth texture. I was surprised to find that it is oil based to be honest, but that really doesn't matter.
It lasts all day on me, doesn't cake or crease and even though as I mentioned it's a bit light, it blends excellently and doesn't create a tide mark. It dries with just a little bit of dewiness as well so it doesn't make the dry parts of my face feel drier.
I would definitely buy this again. I'm not sure if it was on special offer, but at £9.99 this is a pretty good price.

I've used this foundation for ages, about 18 months, but I got a new bottle lately and when I put it on it was orange! I have it in Fair, which is the lightest available, but when I put more than a very light coating on it goes so dark and leaves big lines around my jaw line- which I hate. Also, on my nose it goes very clumpy and just won't go smooth. Don't know why this has started happening as I didn't have these troubles before.
Another problem is that when you apply it it takes ages to dry! If I use the phone even 10 minutes after applying, the phone is left with foundation all over it, and throughout the day this does wear off a lot and leaves marks everywhere. So I wouldn't say it is lasting coverage. I've also had breakouts lately and I am wondering if this is due to the silicone in the foundation. Considering this, I bought Bourjois healthy mix foundation yesterday and so far it's looking pretty good and matches my fair skin well.

I initially wrote a review about this saying how good it was, however it is not. it just does not stay on, not a good coverage and is patchy after a while i was powdering my face (as i have oily skin) Pastelle is actually VERY orange it seems to change to a more orange colour when it dries on your skin?
so definitely not recommended for people with very oily skin.
and the packaging is in a squeezey bottle so if you use too much it is a waste as you cant put it back into the packaging.
