Great for that smokey eye look! I get compliments every time I wear it! I also pair it with Covergirl liquid eyeliner in grey. Gun Metal is my other favourite! Prior to these quads, I was never able to successfully pull off a smokey eye. It feels good having a cosmetics line that is available in Canada only and it rocks!

For a drugstore brand (Shoppers in Canada), Quo is not particularly cheap, coming in just a few bucks shy of MAC, really. However, I think the quality is just as good and the packaging is cute. If you can get it on sale, it's quite a bargain. Mystery is a shimmery smoky purple.

I managed to get this on sale for $4.99! I'm not sure that it's worth the full price, but I'm very happy with it. The colour is perfect for a purple smokey eye, and really compliments my brown eyes. It lasts well, and has lovely, subtle burgandy shimmer.

Quo eyeshadows are very nice, but actually for a drugstore they are very expensive ($14.00).

Mystery reminds me of a darker version of Trax, very nice for a smokey eye look.

I prefer Quo's textures over MAC and I will definately repurchase!

Well, I finally caved in and bought Quo singles. They were on sale for $7.49 (instead of $14.00), so I bought 2: Heather and Mystery.
Mystery black-based burgandy I would say, with some dark purple notes. When applied wet, the colour shift from dark burgandy to more of a fuschia kind of colour. It's not a bright fushia, but definitely brighter than the burgandy. I use it wet as a liner, and it looks just amazing! I also use it dry in the crease of the eye. I like the texture, very soft, and also very pigmented. I'm very happy with this. Tried it on yesterday to experiment with it a bit, and it stayed on all day, true to its colour - even the liner. Very nice.
UPDATE: I'm taking a lippie off because this shadow is starting to break into pieces! The tester at the store was also in pieces, but I thought this was because of misuse or something (it is a tester after all), but now mine is starting to do the same! And I keep my shadows in a little tray on my counter top, so nothing much to break them there! :'(

Oh, this is a great plum, purple, berry?! and i'm not even into purples. Mystery is a shimmery dark purple with black undertones, it's hard to see the black, but when applied sheerly u can see it. If u see this under different lights it flashes pink over the purple, very pretty. I use this alot for a smokey eye effect, and it looks great, you can even use this as a liner, mix it with some visine, and u've got your own liquid liner, another plus is that the shimmer intensifies when applied wet. The quality of the eyeshadow is amazing too, it's smooth and silky and wears well throughout the day. I'm really getting into quo eyeshadows these days, they're really great, check them out.
