This is my new HG toner/serum for mornings! I don't know why I had any doubt about liking this product considering I LOVE everything I have tried from the SHu Uemura line. THe quality of their products is jsut out of this world. I was very intrigued by this toner since not only is it a toner but is has age prevention benfits and ofcourse hwo can miss the neon green bottle haha. Anyhow I first tried using with with a cotton ball which jsut isnt worth it and wastes product. Do teh the amazing gel texture of teh water I can apply it with my fingertips and leaves my skin feeling amazing. At night I use the Shu Depsea Water spray followed my an antiaging hydroxy serum and my moisturizer( apply serums when my face is still damp from teh depsea spray really making a difference in everything soaking into deep layers of your skin). However I have never used serums in the morning since I feel like they are pretty potent and dont like adding to much to my morning skin routine so taht my skin isnt cloggged all day out in the sun (have combo oily prone skin). So now what I do is cleanse in morning and apply this B-G Toner to my skin as a toner and serum more than anything since it is so light and have so many great minerals and antioxidant benefits. Then I spray the Shu Depsea water followed my immdediately applying my Shiseido SPF 55 Face Lotion (the best liquid spf that never greases or clogs and is waterproof). That is it for my morning routine adn let me tell you ever since I have started using this toner as a serum and also the Shu Cleansing Oil and Depsea Water Spray to help absorb my misturizer OMG my skin has yet to look so good, flawless, glowing, and healthy. And most importantly I dont get oily since these products are such quality and never have random breakouts like I used to all the time from clogged pores.
I recommend everyone go try anything from the SHu Uemura line asap and you wont be sorry since I have tried every product under the sun from every liena dn have yet to have such good results and I do with Shu and this toner. Their products are worth the price and 1 instance where I can say you truly do get what you pay for in every way. Also love taht you can get a sample of pretty much anything from their counters to try before you commit to buy, dont hesitate!

I love this toner. It has a thick gel like consistency which doesn't strip your skin of its natural oils. Your skin feels clean without any dryness.

I actually tried the B-G serum and night cream before and i didn't really see a difference. The last time i went in to Shu, I was given a small travelling size of this cosmetic water and cream. So I put it aside since I didn't like using it before until now. The gel-like texture was interesting coz I was expecting a toner hence a liquid. Instead of using a cotton pad I just used my hands to put it on. I dunno if it's actually this product or using this with the serum and cream....my face now feels so moisturized and plumped!!! Feels amazing..I might go buy this in full size along with the rest of the products....but that will cost alot..i'll have to see.

i like this toner a lot. It takes off all my makeup and is a great prep for foundation. Unless I find anything better, this is my HG for now.

This is * awesome * as a light treatment serum! For my oily skin this is way too thick to use as a toner. After washing my face I use my Clinique toner (with witch hazel and salicylic acid) then I follow with an application by hand of the Shu Uemura B-G Reinforcing Cosmetics Water. I apply it just like a serum, and wait 1 minute for it to completely absorb. It absorbs very quickly and completely (leaves behind NO afterfeel). I then follow that with my daily spf moisturizer. The B-G Reinforcing Cosmetics Water contains primarily Depsea water (sea water pumped from deep seal level - 320 meters below surface level, where no light penetrates), which contains more than 60 deep sea minerals to nourish skin and provide antioxidant protection, as well as Beta Glucan from yeast to strengthen and help firm skin. My skin always feels so firm and smooth after applying this Cosmetic Water. It is so light it never clogs my pores or causes any break-outs (and I have oily skin, so that is saying something!). I see a definite difference in the firmness and smoothness of my skin since using this product. I don't know if it is a temporary effect or long term, but when I use this consistantly as a serum it really makes my skin look nice! 5 lippies! :)

I went for my Shu facial and was expecting to get Nanowater or Equiwater still I am still quite young and that seems to be the one recommended to me. However I am rather partial to the funky lime green bottle of the cosmetic water and I really like this as it is not as sticky as the Equiwater. I also prefer the gel texture which turns to liquid once you pat it to hydrate the skin....a thumbs up!

This is very different to what we would normally think of as a cosmetic water (Japanese for toner) as it is a liquid gel and does not soak into a cotton pad readily. It is a product that you really need to wait a few minutes before applying further layers of product and is a bit "heavy" for a toner, so really only suited for dry/sensitive/mature skins. That being said, for normal skin it would be useful in summer as the weight of it provides a decent moisture base (if you are someone who does not like wearig a lot of moisturizers etc. in summer) It is supposed to be used after your cleansing and before any Vit. C serum or other treatment. I felt that in warmer weather, this with my vit. C and the BG-serum is all that I needed to satisfy my moisture needs, especially with a sunscreen on top. I doubt I would actually purchase this product in full size though (I received 1/3 size as GWP)

I love this stuff! It's a water, but seems to have a bit of slip in it, kind of as if there is a tad bit of hyaluronic acid in it or whatnot. I adore the smell. I layer this over my vit. C serum in the mornings. It makes my face very supple and also makes my makeup apply better. My dear trusty MA at the Shu counter says it fills in fine lines and pores and is supposed to leave you with a very good canvas for makeup, in addition to protecting you from the environment.

B-G is a line designed for anti-ageing or more mature skin by Shu Uemura. This is a toner in shocking green bottle which is very stylish.
The toner does not have any scent or too minimal so I could hardly notice. It is very moisturising and gives my dad a lovely healthy glow! (He likes this very much and brings this along with him whenever he has a business trip. Maybe the package is not too girlish, so man can tolerate it?!). Personally, I like Regenerate Toner more since it is less greasy and more LIQUIDITY. Oh, did I mention this toner is in gel form? I do not like it too much for this reason. Also, I think Regenerate is better because it facilates / controls metabolism and prevents my dead cells accumulating plus it makes dry patches disappeared.
