This scent is definately pretty sweet. I smell coconut as the top note, and the dry down is a very sweet vanilla. I wish the coconut would last, since it doesn't why not spray yourself with Vanille Extreme or something? I guess I am going to have to layer this with Coco Extreme as I haven't tried it yet, but hopefully its just coconuts. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE vanillas, well good vanillas, but I was wanting a combination of the two since it is SUMMER! :)

I love this scent. Vanille Coco to me is a wonderful blend of heliotrope, coconuts, and vanilla. It smells soft, cozy, sweet, and slightly powdery. I have heliotrope plants in my yard and I love the slightly cherry, almond, vanilla scent. When I first apply this fragrnace I get a burst of heliotrope and coconuts. After it settles it has a vanilla cookie undertone. The only bad thing about this is it just does not last very long. After about three hours I can hardly smell it on my skin. It does stick to clothes nicley though. I sprayed some on my sweater and I can smell it the next day.
I am a huge vanilla fan, I can see myself using this a lot!

I really love this personally, but the comments I get from other people have put me off buying it again, I never get anyone saying ooh you smell good, it seems to just be people around me I can hear saying to whoever they are with " can you smell that, like fudge or sweets or something" and once when I was serving a customer in work she was saying to her daughter "those sweets over there smell so strong, its making me feel sick" And after that I stopped wearing it for a while, but as I love it so much myself I have started again. I got much better reactions when wearing vanille extreme.
For me the coconut scent just isn't there enough as I am a real lover of anything coconutty, which is why I bought this. Going to go for the full coco extreme next time

Im really surprised I havent reviewed this yet! Being an avid vanille abricot lover,I didnt think I could find a CSP I liked better..boy was I wrong! My love affair w/vanille coco came after Ive tried just about every other vanille csp.Intially I wasnt crazy about it,but when I revisited the scent,I fell madly in love.Ive been wearing it almost everyday for the last year, and gone through almost 2 bottles. Its a sweet, creamy vanilla scent with a touch of mellow coconut milk. Its not overpowering like some of the CSPs.I dont agree that it smells like pink sugar at all..that stuff is like cotton candy. This is a perfect marriage of creamy vanilla and light coconut.I love you Abricot, but I dont think im looking back!

One of my favourite scents especially during winter... I use this when I'm out on dates or seducing someone. LOL! Believe me it works, even strangers would ask me what I'm wearing.. so I'm a bit surprised when I saw that it wasn't highly rated in MUA. It's sweet and similar to Pink Sugar (another fave!) but what sets this apart is -not too many people know of it.
Too bad Sephora is removing the brand from its shelves. Then again, I never buy my bottles from there (75 usd?!!)... I get it cheaper online. I'm on my 3rd bottle and would definitely repurchase!
Oh, one downside for me is that this scent doesn't last as long.

This is my second favorite CSP fragrance after Vanille Amande. The coconut is so soft an subtle and mixes wonderfully with the vanilla. The very first time I wore this, as soon as I left my house and got into the elevator at work I got a compliment. It is a yummy, tropical, beachy sweet fragrance. Although I consider it a summer fragrance I can totally see wearing it in the winter when I want to forget the cold and think of South Pacific beaches. This is a great fragrance!

This is summer in a metal can! Seriously!! I grew up with a pool in my backyard and this takes me right back there. Not as sweet as Vanille Abricot. I love it. I wish I would have discovered CSP before Sephora pulled them.

I love the smell of coconut and the smell of vanilla, so I thought I would absolutely love this scent. I sprayed it on and it smelled so familiar and "foody" but I didn't really notice any vanilla or coconut. A few moments later I realized what it smelled like, kettle corn with a little extra butter. Not a bad smell, but not what I was expecting and nothing I would really ever want to smell like!

This is my second time around with Vanille Coco. When I first discovered CSP scents a few years back, Vanille Banane immediately became my favourite, followed by Vanille Abricot. Amour de Cacao was to orangy for me (I really don't like the combination of chocolate and oranges) and Vanille Coco had a very distinct floral note that I didn't care for. I really adore foody scents and this somehow didn't quite deliver.
I just had to give this another chance now, because I am on a m a j o r coconut spree at the moment and I just really, really like CSP. All of their perfumes, even the onles that haven't quite worked on me, just lack that artificial perfumy note that I get from ALL regular department store fragrances. I don't know if they have changed the formula slightly or if my skin chemistry has matured but this works a lot better on me this time around.
There is only a hint of hibiscus when I first spray this on and it is quite subtle, yet balancing the sugary sweetness nicely. Howerer, it disappears quickly. I can also detect a fruity, creamy note that reminds me of Vanille Banane, but without the cinnamon. This is purer, creamier. The coconut is very gentle and nicley balanced by the vanilla. It is sweet but not toothachingly so. Sadly, the coconut mellows down so much after about half an hour that I can no longer detect it and the scent morphs in to a pure vanilla on my skin. I like the vanilla, it's what I think of as old school CSP vanilla, but that's not why I bought the perfume. I wish the beachy mix of warm skin (vanilla) and coconuts would last longer. I am still going to wear it, because it is still a lovely fragrance in itself, but I wouldn't repurchase. I got the 3.3 oz. size, which is going to last me years anyway.
I am glad that I still have Coco Extreme for that fresh, pure, raw coconut scent and I will try to layer those two and see if I can get a creamier coconut combination. Incidently, my cat is really crazy about coconut scents and always tries to lick my arm when I wear coconut body cream, Coco Extreme or Caramel Sunset. But he is not interested in Vanille Coco! I take that as a sign that the coconut in this just fades too fast. ;-)
On the overall lasting front I find this to be quite decent, as I can still smell it on me 5 or 6 hours later. I have found that with almost all CSP scents, other people can smell them on me much, much longer than I can myself. I always receive lots of compliments from male and female co-workers when I wear CSP: "Oh, you always smell so good!" I guess the vanilla really makes for a comforting scent.

From CSP website: "A gentle, warm and sweet breeze strokes paradisiacal islands and offers dream scents: vanilla from Tahiti, coco milk, heliotrope for a beautiful exotic escape."
This is definitely a straight-up coconut perfume. I got it on clearance, but if I had to pay full retail I would prefer BBW Exotic Coconut for a more subtle scent.

This is very, very sweet. Toothachingly sweet. The days I wear this, I cannot bear to have anything sugary (bonus).
This is a strong vanilla with a bit of coconut and lots of sugar. The overall effect is a heavy coconut cream.
Everyone says that this only lasted a half hour on them, but it's about 4 hours later for me and I'm still smelling it loud and clear. The trick is to spray it in your hair I think. Just two squirts is all you need.
Speaking of, if Ido more than 2 squirts, I get that gross plasticky effect. Keep it light and it's fine.
Overall: nice, but way too sweet. I'll not repurchase.

I kept telling myself that this was The Ultimate Coconut scent that I'd been searching for all these years... Everytime I smelled the odd plasticky scent upon first spritz that the CSP claims is heliotrope, I kept deceiving myself that it was quite a nice combo....and every two hours when I had to respray this because of the fly-away lasting power, I told myself it was all good because it smelled good. Three days of this and I've had enough. It is NOT, NOT, and NOT!
The coconut, which I admit, would be quite pleasant by itself, unfortunately mingles with the "heliotrope" plasticky note and on top of that lasts only for the first hour, sometimes not even. The remaining hour or two, only the vanilla remains. I love vanillas, yes, but it's deceiving, because I bought this just because of its acclaimed coconut note!
Three lippies only because the vanilla note is pleasing..
Oh, when will I find my "The Ultimate Coconut" smell??

I actually received this in a swap and thought by the reviews I would love it. I decided to wear it on a day my family and I were going to visit relatives in another state. About half an hour in the car ride my husband keeps saying his allergies are bothering him. He said he keeps smelling cigars. I offered up my wrist and said is it my new perfume and he smelled it and said eww yes. So we kept having to open the windows. So I won't be buying or wearing this one again. Anyways I am more into fruity floral perfumes. Also I think there bottles are very plain. I love pretty perfume bottles and their's are just blah.

I have been a CSP addict for several years now. For summer, I find this and Vanille Banane to be my favorite fragrances ever. I also sometimes use one spritz of this on top of Amour de Cacao during the winter--it adds something. This does have a very distinct coconut note, particularly at the outset; I do sometimes receive comments that I smell like I've been to the beach (i.e., faintly of Hawaiian Tropic or something). But it's not so coconut-y to me that it's weird or obtrusive--and several hours after application it's just vanilla lovely. I know that many reviewers prefer Vanille Abricot to my favorites (Vanille Banane, this and Amour de Cacao); that's the CSP I first started with, and while I like it, I really like this much better. As does everyone with whom I come into contact, particularly men: I don't know any men who actually love heavy, floral perfumes, but I sure get more men asking me to spell the name of my CSP fragrances and commenting how they're SO much better than the "typical" woman's perfume....

This smells very artificial to me. That dreaded plastic note climbed right up to the top and grinned at me, daring me to wash it off. And I did. So sad, because I really like Vanille abricot.

Okay, Ladies, this is hands down the best scent ever for the summer. I swear the day I whip out my little tin bottle and give it a spray I have people NON stop all day long saying " you smell DELICIOUS!" I was even in a store line up the other day and I had the ENTIRE line of people talking about it, they all thought it was something someone was buying ( in a Canadian Tire store ?!?!)
This is my go to scent for summer, sometimes i will pare it with a squirt of La Vanille and the outcome lasts alittle longer as I know Comptour has always had issues with scent lasting long enough. But I just buy the to go size from Sephora and throw it in my purse and away I go smelling like a little piece of Beachy heaven.

When I first spray this, I smell something initially like banana(?) It's a l bit artificial at first, then it dries down to a soft, sweet vanilla with a hit of coconut. I like to layer the CSP Coco Extreme over it - smells better than either of them do by themselves. Overall, I would not purchase again - for the $$ I would buy Lavanila's Vanilla Coconut, which is less artificial-smelling.

I like how this smells (coconut/vanilla/chocolate), but the scent doesn't last very long. And I had to put more on than I usually do with fragrance. For the price, I expected something richer and longer lasting.

I cannot really tell you about "top notes" and what-nots; when it comes to fragrances, it's totally instinctive to me whether I like it or not. And I LOVE this one. Yes, it IS sweet. Then again, I love sweet scents. And yes, it might seem like it's too much... for about five minutes. But then it just feels irresistible to me.
Perfumes smell different on each person, and what I can say is that this is one of the very few ones that practically everyone I meet will comment on (even several hours after I've put it on,) and so far it's always been something like, "Wow, what's this perfume you're wearing? It's amazing."
