I feel like this evened out my skin tone but didn't do that much for my breakouts. It only has .5% salicylic acid, compared to the average of 2% you will find in most over the counter acne washes. This could be good or bad depending on your skin. I have oily and non-sensitive skin and it didn't overly dry out my skin, but I can't speak for other skin types. Not for me, but does make your skin look nice (besides the acne), will not repurchase.

This is a pretty basic, gentle face wash for sensitive skin. If you have normal skin, this might be too gentle for you. I used to use this religiously for a good two years before I discovered Origins Checks & Balances.
I used this at night to cleanse my face when I was younger and I loved it. It was affordable and my skin needed something really gentle. Before I had my clarisonic mia2, I thought this wash lathered pretty well, but it doesn't seem to like my mia now that I've repurchased this after a few years of not using it. I have it in my cupboard and have only used it once or twice so far.
However, I do like having this as a back-up for when I finish my Origins wash. I'll be using this when my skin is being extra sensitive and when I don't use my Clarisonic mia.
I would recommend this to girls with sensitive skin with redness, blemishes, and all that good stuff because its super gentle yet it cleans your face well

I have extremely sensitive skin and so far this is one of the only face washes I have found that I am able to use!! This does tend to dry out your skin a little bit but if you use the corresponding daily face moisturizer with it afterwards you will totally be fine. My skin type is sensitive/combination!

There is one thing my face can't handle, and it's any kind of gel/soapy cleanser. The description of this described it as soap-free and gentle. When I went to use it the first time, it came out looking and smelling exactly like hand soap. I knew better, but went ahead and tried it out anyway. 2 weeks later and my skin is SUPER dry, red and broken out. I have bumps all over my skin.
It may work for some people, but I gave it a low rating because of what it did to my skin, and the fact that it says NOWHERE on the box "gel" or "lather" which I can't do. If it had, I wouldn't have bought it and saved myself the money and trouble.
Frankly, this is not the first Aveeno product that has not lived up to the hype, so it will be my last.

Don't get me wrong-- this cleanser is a FINE cleanser. it works and all, but it does not lather which bothers me, and i feel like it dries out my skin a little bit.

I was highly disappointed in this face wash. I love the moisturizer so I thought the cleanser would deliver equally amazing results. Wrong. Cystic acne, blackheads (which I never get), made my face more oily, and did not deliver a deep clean. Maybe for someone with extremely dry skin, but this is not for anyone with oily, combo, or acne prone skin.

This cleanser is beyond amazing! Im so happy to finally of found a product to get rid of my discoloration due to my acne. My second week of using this product morning and evening. My skin is finally even tone, and really radiant. I love that i can walk out the door without make up. And i have very sensitive skin and its helped me get rid of red spots on my cheeks. Also i havent had a break out yet and thats a surprise (: I would definetly recommend this product.

I use this in the shower before I use the matching moisturizer/sunscreen. Love the combo of the two. This is a nice refreshing, clean, smelling cleanser and doesn’t dry my face out, but doesn’t leave it oily either.

Love this cleanser. Best one I've used thus far.
I've tried: Clean & Clear Morning Burst, Cetaphil Cleanser, Neutrogena Deep Clean Scrub, Purpose Cleanser, Aveeno Ultra Calming (which I did like), Dr Lewinn Hydrabalance Foaming Cleanser, a couple from Clinique, and probably others I can't remember. This was my fave, by far. Actually made a difference in my skin tone, helped clear my acne, etc. Works into a nice lather, makes skin feel moisturized and clean.

I bought this facial cleanser hoping(praying) that it would help my uneven tone and the dullness that I had started to get. I used it for about 7 months, and I will say that it helped with the smoothness of my face, it made it really soft, but as far as the uneven tone and dullness.. Nothing.
I was extremely disappointed with the product. I don't have a problem with sensitive skin, and it didn't irritate it, but after a while it left my skin extremely oily, and I have normal skin, usually, not after this product though..
I just recently switched to Purpose Gentle Wash, can't say if it has helped or not, too early to tell. Crossing my fingers..

I used this for a few months and never saw a difference in my skin. It didn't improve it or worsen my acne. I recently switched a few weeks ago and then realized a few days ago that my face was noticeably darker than my neck and chest. It's probably because I stopped using this! It says it has brightening effects but I never realized it doing anything before. I never had a problem with uneven skin tone or really bad hyper pigmentation but you could tell my face is darker than my body now. I could be that I also switched my sunscreen at the same time but I'm going to try to incorporate both cleansers, the other being the st.ives green tea cleanser which I think does help my acne, something this one does nothing for except help brightening and maintaining my skin tone. I do like it but like missglamorazzi or ingrid (who is actually the reason I got this cleanser bc she raved about this line, but later said she didn't like this exact one) the lather is really poor, I feel like I'm just moving it around my face. Also, the pump is annoying, I don't like it being so small and close to the base if you know what I mean. I like the smell and it's effective at brightening, but I wouldn't repurchase this exact one. Maybe I'll try the foam one or the moisturizers in this line.

I love this product as a daily cleanser. I have dry/sensitive skin so many cleansers irritate my skin, but this has never irritated my skin. I use this one in the shower, and the Positively Radiant Daily Cleansing Pads when not in the shower (but I only use one or the other per day). I have been using in for about 3-4 months and am using the same bottle. It lasts a long time as you only have to use 1-2 pumps. I have noticed my skin tone evening out, and less blemishes. It washes so cleanly from my skin.
I give it 4 lipsticks rather than 5 because although I love it as a daily cleanser I feel like I need a little more when I do get the occasional breakout or pimple (such as a salicylic acid product). It also doesn't do much for blackheads (which is why I use a toner/astringent as well. I use Clinique). I recently went on a camping trip and broke out, I think this didn't quite do it for the layers or sunscreen (non-clogging, but still) and grime that was built up on my face.
My boyfriend has oily skin and he says he makes it feel more greasy, so it may not work for oily skin.

I really liked this cleanser! Okay, maybe I believed the hype on the bottle, but I do think my skin looked brighter when I was using this. It always made my face feel clean, but not tight or dry. And I didn't experience any breakouts with this. As soon as I stopped using this, I tried a different cleanser, because I can never stick with just one. I'm always trying new stuff. anyways as soon as I stopped using this, I started to massively breakout. So I would definitely go back and repurchase this.

I expected much better reviews for this product. I have sensitive skin prone to breakouts. I have tried so many cleansers, I used dermalogica special cleansing gel for a long time which i found was beginning to irritate my skin. On third bottle of this now, it hasn't irritated my skin and my skin has actually improved since using it.

Sadly this cleanser irritated my already acne-prone skin. I gave it the college try for about two months before calling it quits. Thankfully my drugstore accepted this with little hassle. *sigh* I wanted this cleanser work out for me.

The description 'Positively Radiant' scared me a little. In my mind it could be a nice way to say 'Positively Greasy'. The first 24 hours after I started using this definitely seemed to confirm my fear. Thankfully, my skin settled on the second day and seemed to get used to having the extra moisture. I really love how this doesn't make my skin feel taut and itchy afterwards like a lot of cleansers do. I need to double cleanse to properly wash off all of my makeup, but I don't mind since not much is needed and it leaves my skin soft and perfectly clean. Have I noticed any newfound radiance? No, not really...but it hasn't caused breakouts like a lot of products do to my skin so that's nice. I might buy this again. It's not a miracle product, but it does its job well for an affordable price. I wouldn't recommend for oily skin though.

I find that this product does not cleanse my face well! When I use this it just doesn't cleanse my face nicely and just sits there on my skin. The only thing I like about this product is that it doesn't break me out when I use it. Unfortunately, I won't be buying this product again :(

I've been having good experience with Aveeno products, so I gave this a try. It's pretty good as a daily cleanser - doesn't dry me out and rinses clean. Leaves my skin feeling smooth and refreshed. The bottle lasts a long while - I only need a couple pumps at a time. As the temperature is warming up, I feel like it's not getting my t-zone as clean as needed. But I liked it during the winter. It has little to no fragrance and feels gentle. The swirly iridescent color doesn't affect the texture or show up on your face. I take 'radiant' to mean clean and healthy looking - not that it helps with any hyperpigmentation or lightening - cause it hasn't done that at all. All in all - it's no miracle product, but it works.

I did not like this. After using this and the matching moisturiser it made my skin bumpy, red and oily, and that was only after using it for a couple of days. After I stopped using it, two days later, my skin was back to normal. I don't recommend this to anyone.

After only a week of using this and also the matching moisturiser my skin has started breaking out in small white lumps, flaking (especially around the T-zone area) and I have red patch under one of my eyes. Not sure which is the culprit this or the moisturiser - or maybe it's both combined, but I have had to stop using already. Have had good success with their body wash and lotions though and had no problems.
Will try the ultracalming one with high hopes that it will indeed calm my skin down (and fast!).
