I was scared to try this, since frosty pinkish-purple colors look awful on me. But I was pleasantly surprised when I had it on. Instead of looking metallic-y it simply left a nice wearably pinkish tint on my lips with a bit of shimmer. The smell is yummy, and I like the consistency of the gloss. I don't find it overly sticky.

I wanted to love this color, because it smells so awesome! But next to my PPP complexion, the color was too fuschia. Plus, it leaked all over my handbag. Well...at least my bag smells nice now.

I have to admit that I have more or less, sentimental values attached to this shade. It was my first real lipgloss ever, and I loved the Fruit Loops-esque smell. The color was a perfect mid-pink on my lips, and the texture was just sticky enough to stay for a while. Since then, I've moved on to other shades and brands, but once in a while, I come back to this. :) My only peeve is that the tube isn't too durable -- my first tube cracked pretty badly.

Hotpants is a medium purpley pink that goes on very thick. It has a nice (at least on my opinion) tangerine smell and a wand applicator. The stickiness factor sort of bothers me. On a windy day, this is not the gloss to wear. The color goes well with my yellow undertones (MAC's C40), green eyes and black hair, and it carries itself alone or over l/s. The tube is very thin, yet there is enough product distribution. This is a good neutral pink for tan and darker skins.

When i bought hotpants, i thought that it was going to be lke the highlighter - which i loved. I don't appriciate the blue based - close to purple - pink shade. It does nothing for me at all. I think the scent is supposed to be tangerine. Thats okay. I don't mind the smell because some are quite strong.That was about all i liked about it!

This was an extra in a swap and I'm very glad it was included. The gloss is somewhat thick and sticky, more so than Revlon's Super Lustrous glosses but less so than MAC's Lipglasses (both of which I also love). I feel that gunks are more like liquid lipsticks than glosses, at least on my pale lips. This particular shade is a medium bright-ish (but still wearable) cool pink. It looks great on me with either bare-faced look (though it is too cool, IMO,to look like a 'natural' lip color) or when I'm wearing more makeup too. I love versatile products and I think that I will get a lot of wear out of this. Another yummy plus -it smells like Fruity Pebbles breakfast cereal to me, which happens to be a personal favorite. Mmm. I would recommend this gloss. I am a medium-to-dark brunette with hazel eyes and a medium neutral skin tone.

Just not my style. The color didn't really work for me; it looked more purple than pink on my super fair skin. It did have a yummy scent though, it reminded me of jellybeans. The gloss also wore really well, it was really shiny and made my lips look plump. I liked the gloss enough that I'm returning hot pants and trying again with another shade.

I think I might be addicted to Hotpants lip gunk. I can almost always be found carrying the full size in my purse *and* the mini in my pocket. This is the most perfect cool-toned pink, and the scent and taste are wonderful. I'm not usually into scented/flavored lip products, but this tangerine is so gooood! I have to try very hard not to eat it off my lips. I pray that UD never ever ever discontinues this color!

Love this! A goregous medium pink shade with shimmer. Yummy tangerine flavor. Lasts pretty well on me. Will definitely repurchase if I ever run out!

This is a nice gloss. Nice consistency and staying power with a fruity-tangerine smell. The color is too wild for me though. I'm not into fuschia lip color and wouldn't wear this everyday.

Beautiful blue-based pink shimmer. Great consistency, and much more wearable than one would consider a "hot pink" to be. Perfect for summer time!

Add me to the list of "HotPants" lovers. I am a medium/sallow skin tone w/ruddy cheeks. Most pinks are either a too bright, bubblegummy pink and/or they are too blue and clash with my skin tones or they are just insipid.
THIS color is totally perfect. A soft, color-saturated pink with subtle shimmer, it gives me the perfect "sweet,pretty mouth". My HG of pink lipgloss.

This is a gorgeous color! A pinkish slightly mauvey color that shimmers. A perfect pink, IMO. The scent and flavor are so good. Yum. I love UD lip gunks. My favorite was Buzzkill (it got dc'ed), but this is the best substitute I've found. A gorgeous medium pink.

For my lightly pigmented lips, this goes on as MLBB, as long as I apply it sheerly. It looks like a deep pink in the pan, but applied, it's somewhat sheer with a bit of finely milled sparkle. Love it for the "I'm not wearing much makeup" look.

i found this one on sale at a little boutique for 9 bucks. i picked it up because i just loved the bright pink color. turns out when i got home it smelled like oranges! my favorite! it's a great winter color i think . . much like chanel's jean rose glossimer. the only thing i found wrong with it is the metal cap, it gets all scratched up from being in my purse. my first urban decay lip gunk and i love it!

Pink...my favorite lipgloss color. Hotpants is, of course, pink. And not only that, it's a cool pink, and since my skin is neutral, but just a tiny bit on the cool side, this medium pink lipgloss looks just beautiful on me. It's sticky, which I adore in my lipglosses (they last much longer that way), and it smells fruity to me, somewhat like Fruity Pebbles cereal. It's a nice smell, but I'm much more partial to vanilla/foody smells, or basically just not fruity smells. But I love the color, I love the name, and I love the texture, so it's a winner and I'll wear it often, and buy it again if I ever need to do so.

ok, i would like to disagree with the rest of the crowd on one thing. this l/g smells like tea, like green tea, not fruity pebbles or whatever. haha. that aside, i love the smell. its something you dont mind to have around. as for the color-WOW! so unique and beautiful. in the tube its a pinky/light purple with purple shimmer (NOT glitter; shimmer) on my lips its a sheer hot pink (not really hot pink, but a vibrant, bright, purpley pink) the shine is amazing. very shiny and slighty sticky (although not at all compared to jt's or mac l/g) so thats good for you anti sticky gals. i love sticky l/g tho, but this doesnt bother me. this color is wonderful for summer. this year a lip trend was hot pinks, and this is great for ppp's and others who want a similar look but without the alarming side effects. this l/g does not need to be toned down. i find hotpants does better when it is the center of attention (haha) its one of those l/g that is perfect if all you have on is mascara and a little nude blush. hotpants brightens up my cheeks and doesnt compete with my green eyes (i find some pinks compete with my eyes and the two look odd on the same face) it is my first lip gunk, but not my last. i love the formula and the smell. wonderful l/g and shall be a staple for me.

This is the ONLY pink I can get a way with wearing now that I have red hair. Its big girl pink. I am 35 this isnt to girlish. Just a beautiful wearable shade.

I received Urban Decay Lip Gunk in Asphyxia in a mini lip gunk set as a gift which included Hotpants, Litter, Asphyxia, Tart and Paranoid. I love Hotpants!!! It gives the perfect "your lips but better look." Ahhhh!!! I cannot get over how beautiful this makes my lips look because the pinkish red color just gives the perfect amount of color and shine. Hotpants also has touches of silver and gold glitter along with the pink and purple glimmers and shimmers. I also love UD lip gunk because it lasts forever (seriously this is the longest lasting lipgloss I have ever found). I can't wait to buy the large tube!!!
