Great product especially in the Australian sun with it's high spf rating. I have normal/combo skin and I don't like thick heavy moisturizers etc but this product didn't feel overly thick, greasy or oily. The only downside is that for the price I would've expected a larger quantity. I would still however purchase this product again particularly how it is that sun damage is one of the major reasons for premature ageing (i'm comng up to my mid-20's).

I love it on my body, not on the face as it is oilier than what should be in the summer time. I mean afterall I want my makeup intact! The good thing is it DOESN'T sting the eyes... so I dare to put it on when I do not wear any makeup... non irritant at its best!

When I wear this product I don't burn or break out, which is pretty much all I expected from it. It's definitely not matte, but during summer in Australia nothing is - if I lightly powder over it & don't wear foundation, it looks ok.
Ella Bache sunscreens are pretty thick in texture so although this didn't give my acne-prone combo skin any problems, I can imagine that it would wreak havoc with makeup on hot days if your skin is even slightly oily.
My only big complaint is that the formula doesn't withstand heat very well - I left my tube in a bag on the beach on a 40 degree C day and it curdled. Admittedly that's very hot, but a suncreen should do better.

I find Ella Bache's products to be pretty oily, including this sunscreen. It does not give any matte finish, and will leave an oily slick. Paying AU$29 for the 50ml tube, I'm expecting this to be as good as Shiseido Sunblock Face Cream or Clinique Super City block. Unfortunately it disappoints me. On the other hand, it does look good to have SPF30 broadspectrum, only if it isn't so greasy :(
