I bought this to try and replace my much beloved Remede Sweep since they both lines are under the supervision of Marcia Kilgore of Bliss Spas. While similiar to Sweep in texture - very very fine grit - I find that for some reason it is not quite as effective. Since the Bliss Spa version comes in 3 "weights" perhaps I will try the heavyweight version and see if that makes a difference. I do like that each "weight" has a different albeit slight citrus scent - I believe the middleweight one is grapefruit. In any case this is a good exfoliator that I would probably love if I had never tried Sweep. It is chalky and non-foaming - and it does not irritate my sensitive combo skin prone to breakouts. I tend to use this one a week but I think it is definitely something you could use everyday if you needed to. It's a decent sized tube that will set you back $30.

What is interesting to me is that Marcia's BlissLabs skincare line (as I have stated in my other reviews of their various products) is that all have qualities and similiarities to the upper Remede line. Knowing that Remede is now owned by Marcia, these two lines can have particular items compared. The Cleansing Lotion is the closest thing I found to replace my beloved Remede Milky Wash, the Middleweight Mositure Lotion is hands down an Alchemy cousin and now, with the addtion of their Exfoliator (well, I was kind of slow with this review, it's been out awhile now!) this is a sister to Remede's most coveted product, Sweep. Don't want to plunk down the $44 for Remede's luxe exfoliator? Move on over to Bliss, where it's $14 cheaper (but still expensive, therefore the 4 lipsticks!) which is virtually identical but has a nice smell to it (unlike Remede's memory inducing scent of chalkboards at school). I agree with the other reviewer that Baking Soda works just fine, but I rather like this one too. Effective exfoliating without the harshness.
