Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Black, Straight, Medium Eyes: Brown
lip color: Ginger - sheer dusty rose with subtle shimmer
lip color: Jewell - sheer milky chocolate with rosy undertones and subtle shimmer
lip color: Carmen - sheer coral
convertible color: Lillium - pinkish nude or muted dusty pink
convertible color: Rose - muted rosy red-brown
convertible color: Narcissus - melon
Nice way to try new shades and products.
Product - The lippies go on sheer but moist. The CCs are a little greasy and don't really soak into my skin; the colors are sheer but well pigmented. Not sure I would buy individual CCs but they're handy in a palette like this. Overall, the palette is best for warm, natural looks.
Packaging - Palette with six rectangular wells of product and full-length interior mirror. The compact exterior is metal but could be sturdier; I got mine in a swap and even though it was bubble-wrapped well it got bent in the mail. The product pans are the same size as the single pans in the Just My Luck (Lucky Peach, Lucky Plum) series but obviously this compact lacks the brush and brush well. Would prefer the CC pans to be bigger so I could use a foundation brush instead of my fingertips.
Overall - Great idea, handy palette; wish Stila would issue more lip/cheek palettes like this.

The metal packaging is really sturdy and beautiful. I love convertible colours and lipgloss so this is perfect for me. It's always in my bring out makeup pouch. The colours are all pretty but the lipglosses are kinda drying and not pigmented enough for me. However, it's so cute I think it's worth getting this. I like it so much I bought one for my friend's birthday too! And she loves it! =)

A fantastic way to try three fabulous convertible colours and three alright-but-not-so-pleasant-tasting lipglosses.
Ideally I would love to see a 'juice bar' of all of the cc's (like the Lancome Juicy Bar) or ALL of the CCs in the one palette or at least divided into two palettes with a pleasant tasting clear shimmery lipgloss to add some dimension when the CCs are used on the lips and cheeks (and even to use as a clear eye gel!) as I feel that one regular CC is way too big for my liking! Hope that the people at EL/Stila see that and send me some fabulous freebies for *my idea*!! *i wish*
BUT back to THIS product :)
Great idea, great colours which I can see will get me from day to night and through the seasons, also slim metal case means great portability though the case does get a little bunged up, but 100x better than the cardboard packaged palettes of the past
I had tried Lillium in person before in the store but I wasn't such a fan as the MA had applied it too sheerly. This palette has given me the opportunity to layer it a bit more for the decent and delightful pop of colour I was looking for and Narciscus is like my much-loved Gerbera CC but not as intense so it doesn't look as orange on my now PP skin (Gerbera looks great when I'm tanned but not when i'm pale!). Also I'm loving the Rose CC and can see that i'll be using it a lot in winter. I use Narcisscus and Lillium on my lips, cheeks and eyes, while Rose on cheeks and a dab on lips only. I find that the accompanying lipglosses have enough shimmer to add dimension when I layer them over my cheeks and dab in the middle of my lips for some pout- however they smell and taste HORRIBLE!!! So bad I've had to wipe it off at times because it's been so unbearable!
But I love the CCs to such an extent that I was thinking that I might let myself get sucked in and get the full-size versions but I'm really hankering for a CC palette so I'll hold out!
Just took this baby backpacking and it was perfect- 3 looks in the one compact- yay!

Love, love, love the lip colours in this! Especially Jewell and Carmen, Haven't really had a chance to use the CCs in it as it is summer here in Australia and CCs tend to melt on me in the heat. The packaging is cute and portable but the cover writing and patterns rub off when tumbling around in a bag :(

i got this for christmas and because of the bad reviews i put it up for swap right away. i wasn't even thinking about giving it a chance! but something kept bugging me...it was just so cute in it's package that i finally caved in and took it off my list. I'M SO GLAD I DID! i love it! my faves are lilium and rose. but all the colors are beautiful too. i use lilium on my eyelids...rose on my cheeks...or sometimes i just mix and match w/ the others depending on me mood...and a little eyeliner...and viola! a little drying on my lips but a little chapstick can fix that. but it's really beautiful on the cheeks. i mainly use it as a blush. mine wasn't oily or greasy at all. no break outs or anything. and no it didn't look clownish on me at all. actually my sister tried it cuz she liked it so much on me. first time she tried she looked clownish. so i helped her out and put it very lightly on her and she looked great. she loved it so much that she's now going to purchase one of her own. just give it a try and remember to go LIGHTLY. i'm a 10watt in stila if it helps.

I bought this pallette a couple of weeks ago, and tried to work with it, to no avail. The lip colors were hard, drying, and totally unblendable. The convertible colors were nice, but only Rose suited my complexion. So I basically had a pallette with one decent, usable color. This went back to Nordstrom today, and was exchanged for Camellia and GoLightly, which are beautiful and WAY better than that piece of crap. Save your money people, and splurge on a Stila item you've been hankering for.

Everytime I walk by a Stila counter I try this stuff, convinced that I was mistaken the last time, and everytime I walk away from the countering wondering how such a cute little box with such lovely looking colors can look so dreadful on me. I'm a warm to neutral ppp and all of the convertable colors looked bright and garish on my cheeks and lips. I looked like a painted clown. The glosses were all too shiny and intense for me, like you could see my lips coming from a mile off.

I like stila, but this was CRAP. Lip colors were to sheer, cheek colors were too ugly and GREASY. It arrived at my house with a layer of OIL on top. I litterally used 3 Clean and Clear blotting sheets to try and get the oil off, so gross. My skin is already oily enough, thanks. This went back to sephora and good riddens to bad rubbish.

this is a great product. shades are mentioned as below. my fave is the lilium cc - love that rosy flush it gives me! the 3 lip colors were extremely disappointing. they're all almost clear on me, and my lips are NOT pigmented! it really does not take an erudite to know that this item is grossly overpriced.

I love, love, love this palette! I've been a big fan of Stila's CC in Forget Me Not for a while now so I was so intrigued when this little guy came out. I'd wanted to try other colors but hadn't made the leap. This palette retails for $36 and has 6 colors: 3 lip shades and three convertible colors, which can be used on cheeks and lips. It has a mirror in the lid and no lip brush, which isn't a problem for me since the colors can be applied with fingers, or I can just use my own lip brush.
My absolute favorite color is the Rose CC. It gives such a natural flush to my cheeks and lips. I find that topping this color with any of the lip shades makes a beautiful combo. The Lillium CC is a lovely, natural flush for my cheeks, but too light for my lips, since I have a deeper natural pigmentation there. But not to worry, I just use one of the other lip shades in combo with it. The Narcissus CC is so bright in the compact but gives a nice glow to both cheeks and lips. A very versatile palette.
With my FFF coloring, this compact is a real find. I love the small size, too, because it travels so easily in my purse. If you like palettes and like to carry them with you, this is a must-have.
Update 12/07/03: I've grown to like this palette more and more with each use. The lip colors, believe it or not, seem to go on with more pigment now, for some reason. I think it may be because as you go deeper into the pan it softens up making it easier to get more product on your brush or finger. I noticed the same thing with another Stila palette of mine that has two lip pans in it. Whatever the reason, it's great!

This is really cute there's no denying it. I love the metal mirrored compact, it's a nice change from the old cardboard! It contains 3 lip colours: ginger a sheer & shimmery pale pink; jewell a sheer, slightly shimmery pale chocolate, & carmen a pale peachy colour. These are a bit disappointing as they barely show up, I usually like a bit of colour. There are also 3 convertible colours: lillium, a fleshy pale colour, rose which is a stunning deep colour, gives cheeks a beautiful rosy flush & narcissus, a pale melon/peach shade that looks surprisingly natural. I like this but not enough to purchase again unless they bring out one with colours that show up more. The best thing about this is the rose CC and the compact itself.

It is tiny but it is very much worth it! You get three lipcolors and three great cheek colors. I love the new shade in Narcissus, a peachy pink shade! The palette is super cute too and a great deal For $36!

I'm really happy with this palette. I love the 3 convertible colors Lillium, Rose and Narcissus. Narcissus is a little lighter and peachier than Gerbera. They are all so wearable and I don't have to feel guilty about spending $28 for each individually. I gave this a 4 because the lip shades are so sheer but pretty. I think I need a backup of this. RAVE RAVE!!

Ah it's too cute! All the lip colors are very sheer and wearable, and lillium and rose are my favorite cc shades. Great to tote around and it looks adorable when you take it out of your purse for touchups. When it runs out, i'm going to follow the previous reviewer's idea to reuse this and melt my lippies into the palette. UPDATE: while I'm still happy with this overall, I'm a little dissatisfied with the lipstick colors. They're very sheer, and while i prefer sheer lippies, these hardly show up on my lips and don't have good staying power.

Firstly, I must say that the packaging for this and the other Confections items is so adorable! The palette is smaller (4 3/4" by 1 1/2") in person than it looks online (of course!), and the colors are not as neutral-brown toned as they look online either. If you're familiar with the lipstick shades and CC shades that are in this palette (except for Narcissus which is new, i believe) then you'll know what to expect in terms of shades. From L to R, there are 3 lipstick shades: ginger, jewell and carmen, then 3 convertible colors: lillium, rose and narcissus. I won't describe the shades since there are individual reviews have been posted for each already. Except Narcissus, which is probably somewhere between the CC's Gladiola and Orchid. It actually looks very similar to the Carmen l/s shade in the palette. The case is adorable, pink metal with a decorative trim on the cover and mirrored of course. Very portable! I will definately be re-using this compact to melt my own lipstick shades into it, that is if i ever do finish this one up!
