Fantastic! Bought tons over the years and turned it on to my friends. Love it. Haven't used it a while, not since I bought MAC spice but spice was always too orange/pinky in comparison (although I do like spice very well). I think I will try this again.

I am a nude lip product junkie. I use lipliner to help make my lips look fuller, help my lip color of the the day from fading, all while looking natural and enhancing my pigmented lips. This liner does all this for me. I have purchased Beech over and over again. It is my favorite lip liner! It is really creamy for a pencil and leaves a satin finish in a pinky brownie color, and is pigmented enough to add some depth and color to my lips without looking dark or murky. It looks really good paired w/ nude and coral lip glosses and lipsticks. I much prefer this to MAC spice lipliner as this is much less stark, and is a more natural tone. I can see this looking great on many skin tones.

I have used this product with so many different lipcolours and on its own and it is so versatile. I use it with Stila Natalie lipstick to tone down the pinkness and also on its own with some balm and it works great. Very soft and smudgey, good price and easy to apply. I would recommend.

Beautiful color, as someone else described it's a pink-brownish color. Other lip liners I've tried are usually too pink or red. But I usually have to fill in my lips with the pencil otherwise it has a pretty obvious outline and apply vaseline to blend it in.

I have been using this lip liner since high school, which is now almost some 20 years ago! As other reviewers have stated, it's the truly universal lip liner and looks great no matter what shade of lipstick or lip gloss you're wearing. The pencil is also sturdy and even stands up to summer heat and doesn't go all gooey inside of your purse. This is one of the only make-up products I have repeatedly purchased without hesitation and will continue to do so.

Such a pretty neutral colour. The lightest swipe gives my lips natural-looking creamy colour that makes my lips look fuller and rosier. I use it to line just outside my lip line then blend inwards and, when apllied lightly, it matches my lip colour so well. The lid is also the coolest lid i've seen on a makeup pencil, just randomly. I just like the perfect cylindrical shape and the sturdiness :D I see that people are comparing this pencil to MAC Spice lipliner. The first I heard of that lipliner was when I was 12 or 13 and reading a magazine and it said that one of Britney Spears' staple makeup items is MAC Spice liner. And I was like, OMG I want that! Lol. Even though I didn't even wear makeup much at that age, mainly because we weren't allowed to at intermediate school. Anyway, I give this a 4 out of 5 because lipliner is an occasional thing for me, although I really like the look it gives me when i apply it lightly.
UPDATE 07/07/08: I realised that Beech is a bit darker and browner than my natural lip colour, therefore forcing me to use it all over and not just in one area that I want to fill in. This means I can't use this and expect to have a no-makeup natural looking lip. Still use it though. Just not when I want to go au natural.

I have a dark olive colouring and my lips are just a tinge pinkish brown. This is a perfect color for my neutral shade lipsticks as it matches my lip colour perfectly. I think its better than MAC spice which has an orangy tinge. Will definitely repurchase!

I have a hard time finding good but not overpowering lip color. This liner is perfect. It's a good, neutral, wear with anything color.

Very versatile lip liner. It has the softest texture; it's matte, but never feels dry. A truly neutral pale brownish nude, which looks good with everything!

The best lipliner I've ever used and will repurchase again and again. The texture, tone and consistency is excellent. The colour is a pure neutral nude, creamy and long lasting. You can wear it on it's own with gloss or as a lipliner with any shade of lipstick. I've tried a milion other products and this lipliner is a definite "staple" product that everyone should at least try once.

I lost my MAC Creamola l/l and was sad.I went to TBS and bought this to console myself. It is the perfect nude for just about anyone, and best of all doesn't go all pinky on me as most are wont to do.
Reasonably priced under $10,and I can see myself reaching for this often.

I bought this liner when I was 16 and continue to wear it today (I'm 27). This is the liner I reach for most often (always if my skin is tanned). Its the perfect nude on me, you cant tell I'm even wearing it except that my lips look fuller. If they ever discontinue this I'll cry. edit: i took one lippy off because this only works for me if i have a tan. lately i've been using other liners. i love the dior glossy liners that sephora has for a totally natural my lips but better nude look.

A great staple make-up bag lipliner. This shade would go with almost any lipstick and would suit everyone.
It looks a browny nude on me (med olive skintone).

I bought this in the sales as it looked an ok colour. It is a brilliant colour and can be worn with my lippy or without. It seems to last well too even with all my cups of tea through the day. A perfect natural colour that goes with everything.

Another makeup bag staple! This pinky-brown shade is almost the same color as my lips. I think it is the same exact color as MAC's Spice liner, but a much nicer price. The formula is pretty standard for liners - not super creamy, but doesn't tug at the lips. Good staying power and blends with almost any lipgloss or lipstick on the market. I too used to work for the company and found that I could use this liner on almost any shade of woman who entered the store and find it flattering on her. I love shading the entire mouth with it and applying gloss - it's a hint of subtle yet elegant color and it lasts all day!

i bought this liner years ago and completely forgot i had it. it's a nice shade and goes with every lipstick and lip gloss i own. it's a bit too dark for my liking, so i wouldn't consider it my ultimate (or HG as everyone around here likes to call it) nude liner. but it's definitely a keeper nonetheless.

I used to work at TBS and I called this the Universal LipLiner because in a year and a half there wasn't a customer it didn't look good on. It's subtle, but can be used for drama, goes with just about any skin tone and gloss or lipstick. A brilliant color. Other Colourings products may be somewhat iffy, but honey, this is the real deal. I've stuck with this one through all the ups and down and changes in the Body Shop. THis and the cocoa butter body butter will always keep me coming back. True classics.

Great nude lipliner!!! Goes well most lipsticks and glosses! This is the only lip liner I use and have been using it for 10 years. The only slight grumble is that when I went to repurchase recently, I have noticed the price has shot up from when I last bought it. But hey! Its my HG liner so its worth it. Will definately buy it again.
