I have an oily scalp and dry roots. I heard good reviews about this product, so i wanted to try it out . This shampoo really helped me to control my oily scalp. The scent of it is okay. I don't like it or dislike it. After I showered my hair used to get oily again throughout the day, now I wash my hair every second day without looking greasy. However since it is a very strong product it can make your hair dry, so I only use it on my scalp.

Smells amazing. Like a fruit salad on your head. I use this if I haven't been able to take a shower for a couple days and I have oily hair. I wouldn't use this everyday or even every other day unless you normally have oily hair.

This shampoo is great as a once a week deep cleanse build up removal shampoo. I think if I used this daily my hair would be really dry. I found it stripped my colour quicker than normal too, but I am trying to grow it out anyway.
This smells great and leaves your hair so clean it squeeks!

I have very oily hair and before this i was using jumping juniper which was pretty good, when i went into lush to repurchase the SA suggested I love juicy, I decided to try it cz i loved the smell and i have never been dissapointed with lush products.. well my hair gets oily very soon after i wash it and i feel like it looks limp and very very thin i wont buy this again ill go back to jj as soon as possible

While I love the smell and cleaning power of I Love Juicy, it is waaaaaay too powerful for normal or dry hair!! This is meant for folks who have very oily hair -- think Severus Snape! I used this over about 2 weeks, and it dried my hair out. My hair had never been so dry and brittle before in my life.

I'm giving this a 3 because it didn't work for my hair. However, if you have oily hair, you should consider this.

My hair has never felt so clean and light! And the smell is wonderful. The ultimate inter-generational shampoo -- my teen daughter uses it, as does my mother! It gives us all a two-day clean, even with workouts...!

I love this clarifying shampoo. I use this about once a week with a conditioner for the ends. My hair feels so clean and shiny! I also use this to wash out my Nutiva coconut oil that I use as a deep conditioner. Perfect! Fortunately, you only need a fairly small amount for a lot of lather. This is important because this stuff isn't cheap!

I love this product! I have very thin hair which tends to sit flat and look dry and damaged because I can't put in conditioner. But this product makes it shine! I don't know what it is about the Lush hair stuff but it has really, really helped my hair. I mix the I Love Juicy shampoo with the Big shampoo and the Big shampoo gives it body and the Juicy shampoo makes it shiny. Overall this product is amazing, it gives you just the right amount of shine without making my fine hair look oily and I don't even need to wash my hair everyday. On the down side I wasn't really fond of the packaging. When I first purchased the product it was hard to get out of the bottle, I think they should change the packaging. This product is not very expensive for what you are getting either; I use this shampoo everyday and I've had the same bottle from 3 months and I am only about half way through it! This shampoo is totally worth the cost.

The SA recommended this as a clarifying shampoo to use once a week, but this is just too drying for my specific hair.
I feel like my hair is just too dry and I get flakes when I use this, which I dont when I use my normal shampoos below.
I love curly wurly and trichomania and they make my hair look great, just to give you an idea of what does work for me.
It did smell really nice though, very fruity, and it also lathers well and has a thin consistency making it easy to use.
EDIT: My DH used what I had of this and he loves it! He has very fine hair (but a lot of it) that gets weighed down and oily if he doesnt wash it every single day and he wanted something that would clean his hair really well and not weigh it down so he'd have some volume.

This shampoo is my favorite cleansing shampoo. I have tried many and I can't stand the dry, squeaky feeling. Juicy cleanses and gets rid of buildup without completely stripping my hair. I have an oily scalp and this shampoo helps control that. I still have to wash my hair every other day but this makes 2nd day more manageable. It's important to know that how you wash your hair is vital. Don't lather and pile your hair on top of your hair and scrunch it all together. You will just tangle your hair. Instead, comb your hair before you get in the shower, then get your hair wet. Take a quarter size amount and rub your hands together. Then, slide your hands through your hair, kinda like how you would apply mousse. Then gently massage the scalp and use the remaining suds for the lengths but do not concentrate on them. This will make conditioning easier and combing after the shower easier.

it did not solve my problem of oily hair
and it dried out ends - SA gave me a conditioner to prevent this but after i finished the conditioner i had this problem..
smells great - fruity..

This is the only lush product, that has disappointed me. My hair is very fine and oily, so I thought I'd give this a go. Nothing. My hair was never limper, and I don't like the scent. I appreciate the ingredients, and love lush, but this was a no for me.

I've tried this shampoo after BIG and Rehab and was a little disappointed by it.. The fruity smell is amazing but it didn't left my hair 'clean'. My hair felt still a bit greasy after using it, which I never had with BIG and Rehab. I'm sticking with those.
3 lippies for the amazing smell & packaging though.

When I first used this product I was unimpressed. I liked the strong, fruity scent, but after I used it I didn't see much difference in the amount of oiliness in my hair. Actually, sometimes my hair turned out even greasier than before. But that depended on whether I used it in the morning or at night.

Anyway, about a week ago I used Neutrogena's anti-residue clarifying shampoo because my hair felt really weighed down. A day or two later I used I Love Juicy and was stunned at the results...my hair feels softer and lighter than ever before and there are no traces of grease. I guess I needed to clarify before this shampoo could work effectively! But I absolutely love it.

It only gets 4 because a) it requires me to use it in conjunction with a different product for best results and b) it's pricier than most shampoos. I would definitely buy again.

I have very oily scalp and dry hairends and I wash my hair twice a day due to that. Yes, it does remove oil effectively and my scalp stayed fresh for the next 8 hrs. However, the formula is so strong that frequent usage (such as twice daily) dry up my scalp and white spots started appearing. Already dry and damaged hair became more brittle than usual. I pair this shampoo with a normal daily use shampoo and only use this shampoo like twice a week.

I've recently gotten into LUSH products and wash excited to try this. The SA told me that if I have oily hair, this would be good with Veganese conditioner. It did not disappoint.
I normally have to shampoo daily because of how oily my hair gets---after using this, my 'day after' hair still looked clean and shiny without a hint of dirtiness to it. The price is a little offsetting, but with results like this, I'd certainly buy it again.

I love this shampoo! It smells soooooo good and fruity :) I use it only once or twice a week as a clarifying shampoo or when im rinsing out hair color, since it can be drying and stripping of color. But hair is squeaky clean, works amazing especially if your hair gets oily.
