It is very natural on white skin. Just a little pink makes me look much better.

Since I saw it on my gf's face four years ago, I fell in love with it and has been my one and only blusher ever since. It gives a reflective but natural sheen to my cheeks, hard to describe its effects. I have never like a shade this much. If it's ever ging to be discountinued, I may buy one whole crate of it at one shot to stock up!
I simply adore it but find it a bit too pricey, at S$38 a pop. Still, for a pc of makeup item u can't do without, I have no choice but to part my money each time. :)

I really wanted this to work for me. This is an elegant, slightly aloof, light shade of pink with pronounced lavender undertones. Not a cute or playful pink, nor an intensely direct pink like Nars Desire, and not even as deep and bright as Mata Hari, although this is not exactly a pale or weak shade either since it has medium intensity. Yet it works almost like a highlighter rather than a flush, and could give an ethereal effect on the right complexion. I am NC20-so I am fair- but the cool lavendar undertone fights with the medium warm golden tone of my pale skin, and the whole effect is lost. It just sits there on my cheeks like a foreign object, not blending in. It might be beautiful on a cool porcelain complexion by itself, or on darker skin as a highlighter or layered over another blush like P Purple 05B to create depth and luminosity.

The greatest blush for pale and pink skin. It looks incredibly natural (but better~!) when lightly applied. An extra layer adds intensity if you want a more flushed look. I would imagine this would also work well as a highlighter on darker skinned girls. As mentioned in other reviews, the color is pale pink, with a blue/purple undertone. Works great on my cool and pale skin (with pink/blue undertones). Slight sparkles add luminosity. The only thing I dislike is the packaging--cheapie looking clear plastic, no brush. However, refillable palettes are available to put shu blushes and eyeshadows in.

I love Shu blushes as they last a whole day on me and are finely milled and are pigmented. This is a very pretty cool- toned pink with subtle lavender sparkles. It's my current fav blush as it really perks me up.

This is a gorgeous cool lavendar pink shade. It says it's matte but I notice a bit of lavendar iridescence when I wear it. This is probably most flattering for cool-toned pale skins, but I think it would work on warm and medium skintones as well.

Interesting blush. It looks very lavender in the pan, but goes on pink with lavender highlights. Now, I'm not sure just how well that would go with my MMM NC 30 complexion, but is sure is a change from the usual colors. I'd probably use it more on my fair-skinned little sister, though :)
*Edited* I think I love this blush. The lavender doesn't show up at all anymore. I use this when I want an innocent little girl flush--very subtle and sweet. This is terrific!

This supposedly matte blush appears pink in some lights and lavendar in others, and regardless of its designated "matte" indicator, this actually contains very subtle microscopic iridescent lavendar sparkle. Of the Shu Uemura blushes that I own, this is definitely the lightest in terms of pigmentation and color. It is also the easiest to wear. I love how it imparts the slightest flush, truly as natural as possible. Beautiful but not very unique on my light/medium Asian complexion.
