This opens with a wonderful real pear note, that's not too sweet, and then joined by a hint of peach. After that it becomes sweetly green, like newly unfurled leaves, with a hint of moss and musk to temper things in the base. A well constructed, un-childish fruity floral that makes for a great summer fragrance.

I also bought this at a discount store just because of the packaging and the Jean Patou name. How bad could it be? Answer: not bad. It's pleasant enough on me, a tart-fruity-floral. It's supposed to be a sheer floral based on a vine flower. I don't have any major criticism of PanAme - it's not a cheap, awful scent, it's actually rather nice - but it's nothing spectacular and easily forgettable. It doesn't have much "presence".

I was expecting a light and fruity scent, but it turned out to be too floral. I wouldn't say it's horrible, but it's not something I'd wear either. It has something mixed in there that I can't quite put my finger on. It's a powdery floral smell that fades to a soft powdery scent. I think the dry down is okay.

I was extremely unimpressed with this one. I have seen it at discount stores for cheap, so maybe (just maybe) it would be worth $9.99. Not sure even. A nondescript fruity floral, very bland.

This scent is marketed as a floral fruity musk. According to the package it contains linden blossoms, violet leaves, pear, peach, sadndalwood and musk. Upon application, the violet leaves and pear notes seem highly pronounced but after about 10 minutes or so, the musk scent rears it's musty head from who knows where. The musk totally ruins the fruity floral-ness of the scent by overpowering the pear and turning the violet into a very synthetic scent *blech*. I was really hoping to enjoy a fruity floral musky Patou scent, but I guess this is one desire that won't be fulfilled for quite awhile.
