I had high hopes for this little product but it just plain sucks. Its way too small for the price and the finish of it is just horrible. It settles into pores and looks kinda streaky. Im a makeup artist and I know how to blend foundation but this just wasn't working.

I'm an Avon/Mark rep, and I just ordered this and received it this week. I got it in the shade Natural, and it's a really great match. I have tried Benefit's Playstick, but I like this one better. Yes, it's small, and i'm not sure how long this would last if it was used everyday, but at only $10, I'm fine with the size. The coverage is great. It feels super light (Benefit's Playstick felt kind of heavy on my skin). This didn't irritate my sensitive skin. It's the perfect size to throw in your purse or beach bag for summer. I used a bit more of this to cover undereye circles. This lasts pretty much all day, and I really like it. I will be ordering this again.

edit: 6/9/11- I LOVE this. It applies so smoothly and doesn't cake up at all. Lasts all day. I set this with a mineral powder, and I love the results. This is the perfect size to through in your purse.

I love this concealer. It really covers up well so I like it. If I don't have eyeshadow primer with me, I use this, and it works really well! The only thing I dislike is that it feels a little heavy on my skin.

A great product. I use it every day under my foundation and apply with a foundation brush over problem areas and it works like a charm. I will continue to use it every day.
Update: okay this is now my 2nd favorite, Almay smart shade concealer is my HG! I can smooth it across my nose and cheeks and any problem areas, it turns to my exact skin shade, no orange color at all, and I apply my foundation over top and get incredible smooth flawless looking skin and get tons of compliments.

I love this! I am already on my 3rd tube. I use it as more of a concealer than a foundation. I have a lot of redness on my nose and cheeks and this covers all the redness perfectly! I make a line down my nose, and one on both cheeks, and I blend it in with a Laura Mercier large camouflage brush (I think that brush is intended for under eye, but it is absolutely perfect for applying a large amount of concealer!) I am NW20/25 and the shade BUFF matches my skin perfectly. The tube is rather small, but if you won't use a lot of it everyday this product should last you roughly a month. If you want to use this is a full foundation, you would probably go through at least two a month. Mark has raised the price on this item a dollar this year (along with many other products) but I love it so much that I am willing to pay for it. Mark doesn't test on animals, and the product works perfectly. What more could you ask for?!

I think the formulation was changed on this product. I got it when it first came out and it was very dry, but I just got a new one and it's very creamy. I was surprised because most stick foundations I've tried are pretty dry and chalky. This one glided one. I used the mark primer before applying this and then applied it and blended with the mark foundation brush. It blended perfectly, perhaps people having this issue should try using a primer first. The color was a good match (I'm nc43) I got honey.
I think I like this better than mac studio fix already, it's much creamier. The only downside is that this is tiny .14oz. Seems like since the formulation is so creamy that it will last a bit. Will repurchase

ok for the amount of product it is way to pricey for me! it seems like it would make life so much simpler but this is sooo greasy and hard to blend. not gonna lie i hate it. ok when i first got it in NUDE, i was using it as all over coverage, my skin is super dry this stuff just sits on top of my dry skin making it worse it doesnt blend at all. i have tried my fingers and several types of brushes. as a concealer this just settels into my fine lines and looks like crap. would not buy again.

I wear the Buff shade and the size is perfect for toting around in a small mu bag or purse. In a nutshell, this does what I need it to: spot conceal/cover or medium-coverage foundation when I want to use it that way. It's enough for me, but it's not a miracle product by any means. Used lightly and blended well it looks nice and lasts as long as I need it to, although it helps to use a setting powder because it is a cream and will transfer and/or migrate in warmer weather. I don't need much in the way of oil-control and I only use it sparingly so I can't speak for it as an every-day foundation but for my minimal needs, especially as a concealer and for touchups, I like it and have repurchased it.

this was the first mark product i ever tried, and its my absolute favorite!!!!!!!!!!! i use it on days when i dont really need alot of makeup, but i always have i little redness on my cheeks and nose. i put it on like so: 3 stripes, one on my nose, and two football player esque ones under my eyes on my cheeks. then just blend!!!!!! doesnt make me look orange (ALL foundations do), mattifies my VERY oily skin, blends wonderfully, GET THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)

I use in "Buff" this as a concealer under my eyes and on any spots that need hiding. It's creamy and blends perfectly with my NW20 skin. I wouldn't use it all over my face as foundation, just because I do find it a bit too creamy for that purpose. But as a spot concealer it works wonders.

The price can't be beat, either. $8, and since I use it lightly on small areas, I think it'll last quite a while.

It's not a miracle product, but it does the job, and is wallet friendly.

I currently have very dry skin due to Accutane. In the past, I've used Benefit Play Sticks (in Paper Dolls, $34 for 0.3 oz) and Clinique City Stick w/SPF 15 (in Vanilla, $22 for 0.31oz).

PROS: Cheaper than Benefit and Clinique's stick foundations (mark's is $8 for 0.14 oz, so it costs about $16 for the same total amount as Benefit or Clinique's version). Decent color selection--I managed to luck out and pick the perfect shade (Buff)! Medium coverage for a foundation, but buildable (comparable to Benefit and Clinique). Decent texture, a little softer than the other stick foundations I tried, but it's not a problem. Nice packaging. Very portable.

CONS: Mediocre length of wear. IME, needs setting w/powder to get a matte look. Price comparable Can't try shades on, like HE brands w/counters and testers. No SPF. Slight, odd smell. A little light to use as a concealer (but same w/the other stick foundations I've tried).

Overall, a decent product that I would consider repurchasing. However, Clinique's is still my favorite, despite their limited color selection.

I love this makeup! I didn't expect to like it so much because I have oily skin that is prone to breakouts and I thought that a stick might be too heavy and make my skin worse. I decided to order it anyways because I like the convenience and portability of a stick, plus it was listed as being oil free. I am so happy that I gave it a try. It has good coverage, but feels very light on my skin and I can just toss it in my purse and take it with me for touch-ups. My only complaint is that it is a little small for the price, but I like it so much that I will purchase it again.

This my second face product that I have purchased from mark and I got this in Natural. I love the consistency of this stuff. It's very creamy and feels velvety when applying with your fingers(I love to make it melt a little with the warmth of my hand). I really wanted to keep loving this product but sure enough it kept turning orange on me. I have oily skin but I'm dry underneath the eyes, which is where I used this. It kept settling on the one line I have under each eye and then throughout the day it just didn't want to stay!! NOT FAIR!! Plus when you actually look at how small the container is, I don't think it's really worth the 8 dollars.

I really don't understand why this product has a rating of 3.8. Its ridiculous. Speedway claims to be foundation, powder and concealer in a stick; and it doesn't do a good job on any of those categories. Its incredibly sheer, to the point you wonder what the hell the product does, you only know you have it on because your face looks a little more oily than usual and has a different (worst) texture. I bought this because I wanted to try Mark/avon out and because of the raves here, and I must say I am REALLY disappointed. If anything this could work like a tinted moisturizer...if it could moisturize. And does it work as a concealer? Oh please, any foundation would do better at concealing than this sheer, liquidy excuse for a makeup stick. Any low end/drugstore brand could do better than this. If anything, this could work on a teen with near perfect skin that wants a little color.

On the other hand, it is so cute it makes you want to buy it again, very small and portable. But that doesnt make up for anything.

edit **

This works on bare skin or if you use a matifying lotion prior to applying it instead of a moisterizer. Its a lot of fun trying to make it work :). Afterwards you HAVE to apply powder. If your skin is near perfect tone/color-wise you can give this a try. Its perfect for when you are in a rush because of its blendability.

I forgot why I purchased this. I am Mac NC 35 with yellow undertone, I find Natural is a good match although Buff is just a tad lighter which is OK in winter. The texture is good for my normal/dry skin. It makes the skin glow & looks natural, putting a little more or less doesn't affect the finish. Sometimes I just touch the stick on my cheek & slide, then blend. However, I will not use it in summer or on my T-zone though. Its small & cute, can't beat the price. For those with issues like acne scar & liver spots, this may not do the trick though.

I am reviewing the new Speedway shades that have a more yellow undertone to the. I am NC 35-40, and I use Mark. Honey (I use Natural the one shade down from Honey to adjust the color depending on season and sun exposure.)

This foundation is a cream-to-powder foundation that comes in a stick. A little goes a long way, defintely. I just swipe the sticks on my forehead, cheeks, undereyes, around nose and chin and spread. It is super easy to apply, incredible adjustable coverage, and lasts all day. I have oily skin, and it does okay, not great, at fielding the oilies (I still have to use powder to avoid an oil slick).

Anyway, I really enjoy wearing this foundation. It covers my old acne scars, it leaves my skin looking very even and luminous, and it matches my natural skintone perfectly. It does not settle into my pores, however, it does crease a little under my eyes, but once I remove the excess it is fine for the rest of the day. This really is a great product. It looks natural on my skin when I use my fingers, and it wears sheerly when I use Mark.'s foundation brush, which is awesome).

Nice Rave! definitely.

As a seasoned mark rep, even I was skeptical of this product for a long time before I gave it a try, and when I finally did it was about to be discontinued. And of course, once I tried it, I LOVED IT! :) I have oily skin, so I can't use this product for full coverage, but it works wonder as a prep before I put on my foundation. I use it under my eyes, and to cover blemishes. It's fantastic!! And, I am happy to say this product will be returning to the mark line in Magalog 8 later this year with a new line of shades and packaging, and I can't wait! :)

Perhaps I have been spoiled by Benefit's "Playsticks" but this porduct was terrible. After using the Playsticks for a year or so and going through about 3 of them, I was in search of another product because they were getting pricy at $30 a pop. When I saw these in a Magalog I was excited to try but never got around to it until they were discontinued. Eventually I saw them in a clearance Avon book and decided to give them a go. I must say, for the full price, these tubes are super small, about a 3rd of the size of the Playstick. I assumed these would act the same and smooth onto my skin into a velvety medium coverage finish- no- whenever I use this, it just kind of sits on my skin in a greasy finish, wherever there is dry skin it makes it look even worse!!! Was quite disapointed and glad I got this on sale, can see why discontinued. I purchased Skin 3 and 4. One is still unopened, the other in my purse for emergencies... For now I have been using Avon Dewey Souflee foundation all over and Benefit Playstick as a concealer.
