Since there are so many brands that aren't carried in Canada I'm glad that there are some brands exclusive to igloo country! I have tried several Annabelle eyeshadows including some trios, and singles. I definitely reccomend these, they are almost as pigmented as Wet n Wild, but with much less fall out. There is a good selection of neutrals, although they could have a bigger selection of brighter colors. My favorite of all, however is suedine, a nice medium taupe shade, a little bit warmer than MAC's satin taupe, with soft gold shimmer. Its gorgeous as an all over eyeshadow color with a vanilla highlight, and some dark brown liner and mascara.

i have been using these shadows for over 20 years and for the price, you can find no better, especially on sale (if SDM is too expensive for you, try Wal Mart)...there is some fallout with shimmery dark colours but nothing too extreme

I love these eye shadows! I think they are the best you can get at a drug store (in Canada anyway). The colours stay on and don't fade away (they don't blend out into nothing like a lot of eye shadows) and they are very pigmented. They aren't very powdery so there isn't a large amount of fall out. They are just great. I will repurchase many different colours, I'm sure!

For the price of these babies, i totally think they''re worth it! I noticed a lot of people improperly use eyeshadows and complain about the brand...one tip: with the right primer underneath using annabelle eye shadow, it can last almost the whole day!! They also have great, brilliant colors!! A lot of my friends thought i always wore mac for my eyes but when I told them that it was annabelle, they were shocked and now i got them buying it too =) totally repurchase them <3

I feel like such a fool! Always passing Annabelle at Shoppers for all these years mainly because the brand looked so cheap! I think the whole rebranding of their packaging look has really helped the customer come around. These eyeshadows are lovely! I bought the deal at Shoppers with the 4 eyeshadows....very impressed. Great to play around with colours because they are so inexpensive.

I recently got the loose powder shadow in "Myth" -- a shimmery taupe colour. Can't compare it to MAC pigments, as I haven't used those. The snap-on plastic lid is a pain to use, as others have noted, but it's easy enough to just unscrew the whole lid. I usually end up wetting a small eyeshadow brush or my finger, and putting a tiny amount on either. The shadow is great on the lids itself and would look even better foiled. It's just as nice as a MUFE Star Powder (which costs three times as much), but there aren't a lot of shades available.

I love annabelle cream eyeshadow and kohl pencil liner but I hate their powder shadows. The colours go on sheer and a lot duller than they seem in the pan. I bought a golden coloured single eyeshadow that looked *very* different on me than it did in the pan, the colours are not highly pigmented and don't go on true. They are better for highlighting and contouring than as shadows. Ultimately I threw it away.

I purchased this is "bleu nuit". It looked like a royal blue, so I bought it to match my graduation dress. Turns out, it is not royal blue but a navy blue with shimmer. It doesn't blend easily. I don't really like this.

Love these eyeshadows. Never purchased one I wasn't impressed with. Usually on sale at SDM for $2.99.
Great pigmentation, great blend-ability, not chalky or cheap, smooth texture.
No complaints, the price can't be beat. I like these more than any mac eyeshadows I have purchased.
I'm a big fan of these, and for the price what have you got to lose.

I have two of these mono eyeshadows; a light lavender shade called Extra Violet, and a shimmery light blue called Blue Haze. My favourite of the two is the blue, because the colour pay-off was much stronger than the lilac colour, which is why it lost a lippie or two. The lilac shadow does not show much pigment when applied to the lid with an eyeshadow brush. However, both shadows stayed on and did not flake or fall under my eyes throughout the day.
I bought both for about $3 at Walmart.

I love these shadows! I've been using them for years. With the exception of a few colors - I bought one purple shade that didn't go on well at all - they go on smoothly and blend easily. And for a great price! I don't have any complaints about these at all.

I LOVE Annabelle eyeshadows!
There are so many colours to choose from and they are inexpensive. I find that the powder applies smoothly and stays on for most of the day. I add a base before applying the shadows of choice, and I love the colour impact!
I am so happy that we have something comparable to MAC for more than half the price!
The fact that it is a Canadian company is even more satisfying...though so is MAC...
These shadows are great for beginners and even makeup experts. I will be repurchasing these shadows for some time to come!

SO i tried out the annabelle single shadow that you depot into the holder. 3 bucks canadian. i tried b-ray as i wanted something like mac contrast. this fits the bill pretty well. it isn't identical but i get the same overall effect. a deep navy blue with a touch of royal in it. b-ray is matte. the pigmentation on these shadows are fantastic and are a snap to blend. i can't believe they are only 3 bucks. will be buying the vanilla one today. so excited.
EDIT: i had to write about vanilla-chilla. wonderful! kinda reminds me of macs blanctype. so silky, no shimmer and lasts pretty good. perfect for all over my lids. will def repurchase

I got these on sale for $2.99 CAD each! and i'm telling you they should be worth a lot more than that! I got: gleam (pearly iridescent cream/gold), matte white, carbon (matte black), purple, blue, and aura (light pearly purple). All have really good pigmentation and go on my lids really smoothly with the exception of the light purple called aura. It was a bit hard to get the color to show on my skin but it looks so pretty in the pan :(
I also got 2 e/s trios when they had the buy one get one free. I got Haute Chocolate and Creme Caramel. Creme Caramel is really satiny and i use it for my everyday makeup. Haute chocolate has 2 matte shadows i believe and that one creates really nice smokey dark brown look.
I love the quality and price of Annabelle cosmetics! i'm so glad to have these babies in Canada!!!!

I bought three of these at once - dark brown, bronze and white. The brown and bronze were very nice, very pigmented and a nice texture. The white, however, was fairly chalky. I think these are a good quality for the price, but honestly NYX is the same price and is a much better quality.
these are decent, but not the best for their price range. Some are better than others, for sure.

Overall, Annabelle has some great quality shadows and should not be ignored. I have a couple trios as well as a single from Annabelle, and I'm pleased to say that all of them have great pigmentation and staying power. They are quite soft, silky, and blendable. Now of course, like all brands, there will be the odd shadow that's a dud, so I think it's necessary to try out more than one shadow before knocking the entire brand. Additionally, most stores that supply Annabelle products have testers out, so it's so easy to swatch the colors and see their pigmentation before you buy it. That way you know which ones are pigmented and which ones aren't. Anyways, I'm quite satisfied with my Annabelle shadows. They're the best drugstore shadows I've tried, and I'll definitely pick up more in the future.

Not sure what the hype is on Annabelle eyeshadows, but I'm definitely not a fan and won't repurchase any colours anytime soon. I threw out the only colour I bought. It was a light purple (don't remember the name). The colour is pretty, but that's it. Pigmentation is terrible and I had to reapply numerous times to actually see the colour on my eyelid and it didn't last at all. I don't know about you ladies, but I'm sticking with MAC.

I bought my first eyeshadow from AnnaBelle about a week ago. I'm deffantly collecting things from this brand from now on. The pigmentation is great, great colours, and a great price. On top of all that CANADIAN: amazing.
