This is my favourite palette in my stash! the colors really make my eyes stand out. Lippies are excellent quality - a bit dark for my taste but blotted down and worn with lipgloss, they are great. I love all in one palettes and it's nice to have everything coordinated, especially when in a rush. I'm seriously considering getting hold of a backup for this - something I've not seen the need for till now :)

Could this palette be any cuter and more functional? Every color is wonderful and usable. Charcoal is a great liner, Bone for all over and highlighting, and Stone on the lid. The Kir and Burnt Sugar are wonderful shimmery colors and Rum Raisin is beautifully rich and creamy. Blackberry is the exact sort of deep, sheer color I love. The brushes are great although I am seriously considering using the lip brush as an eye liner brush and vice versa, they just seem better suited for their respective tasks. Besides that, I'd happily buy this again. I got it for little money on Ebay.

Just to avoid confusion about what I'm reviewing here: BB's Deep Lip and Eye Palette has been launched (to my knowledge) in at least three different color combos: I personally own one from '03 with the e/s colors White, Woodrose and Mahogany. Last year, BB came out with a palette under the same name with Bone, Cement and Charcoal (has been reviewed by others before). This review is for the Deep Lip and Eye Palette from the holiday season '05. It contains Bone, Stone Shimmer Wash and Charcoal eye shadows and Kir Lip Shimmer, Burnt Sugar Shimmer Gloss Stick, Rum Raisin Lip Color and Blackberry SPF 15 Lip Shine. I got this palette as a replacement for my 3-year old Deep Lip Palette that has litereally traveled the world with me and has never let me down :-) So I got a lot of use out of that one, and I have started to like the new colors just as much. Great to have the Stone Shimmer in a palette, plus Bone as an allover base color and Charcoal for dry lining are very versatile for almost any look. The lip colors in this palette are also wonderful for mixing and matching: Kir is my fave Lip Shimmer, staying power is excellent and it's a deep brownish red with just enough shimmer. Burnt Sugar is a sheer, glossy brownish red, great on its own or on top of l/s. Rum Raisin is a classic BB lipcolor and the Blackberry is a deep sheer red, a nice casual color on its own or to add some oomph to Rum Raisin. Comes with two brushes, the double ended brush for lining and eyeshadow application, and a small lip brush. The brushes are very good quality too, as you would expect from Bobbi. The two tiered design of the palette makes it sturdy and very compact, a sleek black shiny case and only 2 x 4.5 inches and less than an inch thick. It has a nice full-length mirror in the lid. Price: $48. All the color options included in this palette: Priceless :-)) Will never be without it and will gladly repurchase as long as BB offers this gem.

Sometimes, when I use this palette, I feel a bit guilty about all the other eye/lip colors I have, because so often I end up overlooking everything else and using just the colors in this. A bit confusing, though, because the colors are not that "deep" and I find them highly wearable, even as a PPP. Of course, I'm sure that if you were heavy-handed enough, you could pile on the dark eyeshadow, but I only use that for liner--and a wonderful liner it is, esp. with bb little push brush that comes with it. Lovely stuff.

Love it! Black compact sliding compartment lip and eye cosmetic collection. The lip colors are gorgeous: cherry cognac shimmer gloss stick, cassis lip color, kir lip shimmer, and raisin lip color. The eyeshadows are: white, woodrose and mahogany, and the set comes with a mini eyeliner-eyeshadow brush combo and a mini lip brush. Really neat item!

This palette was one of my first Bobbi Brown purchases, and now I'm completely hooked! The lip colors may look dark in the palette, but on the lips, they are the perfect shade and to die for when topped with Bobbi Brown's crystal gloss! The eye colors allow you to complete the ideal smokey eye. I loved it so much I gave it to my sister knowing she could use it on her holiday vacation to Italy. Now I am mourning its loss, and I am anxiously waiting its return back to me so I can look oh so gorgeous once again.

Love this palette. Great colors, good design. High quality brushes. Lip colors are a bit drying, but they have great staying power. I just top them up with a lip gloss during the day. Will definitely be buying more Bobbi Brown in the future!

I adore this palette. Just beautiful. There are three eyeshadows in the lower tier and 4 lipstick/lip shimmers in the upper tier. It came with two brushes. One is a nice little lip brush and the other is an eyeshadow brush. I love Woodrose (pink)eyeshadow and would love it more if it had a tiny bit of shimmer. The bone (white) shadow is very nice as a wash. Mahogany makes a nice liner when used wet. I haven't used all the lipstick's yet, but my favourite is the Kir shimmer. Not a huge fan of BB's lipstick textures, but I will wear this simply for the colours. I prefer to add gloss on top. I've nearly used up all the shadows, except for the Mahogany since it has only been used as a liner. I've lost interest in the lipsticks at the moment but perhaps I'll play with it again.

I absolutely adore this!
In one compact and portable palette you get the following product:
Tray 1: Lip options: Blackberry SPF 15 Lip Shine, Burnt Sugar Shimmer Gloss Stick, Kir Lip Shimmer, and Rum Raisin Lip
Tray 2: Bone Eye Shadow, Stone Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow, and Charcoal Eye Shadow
I was concerned that the Stone Shimmer would wash out against my PPP skin but it actually compliments my green eyes and makes 'em stand out! Bone is a great base and Charcoal is a nice deep black liner. Every lip color suits my PPP complexion and the colors are deep but not garish--perfect for fall!

The best part about this compact (other than the colors) is that it fits perfectly in my purse. I have so many options to work with and I can dig it out whenever and wherever! Check this out--the neutral is pretty too!

I've resisted trying BB for a while now and after getting this palette and black plum eyeshadow regret waiting so long (now I know why BB gets so many raves, I will be buying more BB products). The colors are great cool neutral tones (most neutrals are too warm for my skin and look muddy). I love how the compact is laid out, a lot of product but still easy to carry, this will be going with me on business trips. The brushes are the best I have ever seen in a compact, very high quality. UPDATE: This was the only ES/Lip colors I took on vacation recently and it worked out perfectly, my grandmother and stepmom raved about how good I looked!

This palette really wowed me. I was hesitant to try some of the deeper shades Bobbi Brown has to offer because I have always been faithful to her neutrals. But I don't regret spending the 45 dollars on this little number. I love all the colors. They work so well with my Latina complexion and the woodrose shadow is pure heaven. The only thing I could do without in this palette is the white shadow. It doesn't really show up. I highly recommend this palette for night or day. With Bobbi Brown colors there are never any restrictions. Too bad it's limited edition because I would definately buy it again.

I wanted to like this palette but...the eye shadows were just not pigmented enough and one is bright white but still doesn't show up well on me. The lip colors are in the red,mauvey,brown shades and are okay. I found them to be too drying and needed to be reapplied often. Love the packaging though with the sliding drawers.

I am fast becoming a Bobbi palette whore!

I LOVE that I can carry this, plus foundation blusher and mascara when I travel... and that's ALL the make up I need.

I LOVE that Woodrose is in here as it's my favourite eye shadow.

I LOVE that this is a solid weighty compact that doesn't feel fragile (COs I actually USE my makeup!)

I LOVE that I have Mahogany and White in my collection now.

I LOVE how small variations in Bobbis universal shades can make such a difference.

I LOVE How good Bobbi Browns Shadows make me look.

I LOVE that Kir Lip shimmer is in here because I would never have thought to try it independently and it's fab on me.

This is HG for me guys...!

one of my all time favorite palettes. gives me daytime and nighttime look all tucked into one little palette. just add foundation and mascara and you're good to go. all the lipcolors are very wearable and pretty...e/s's are neutral mattes. a must have palette but certainly not for the shimmery and crazy color kinda gals. this kit might be too boring for you.

I believe this was a limited edition so whether i would buy this again is definately a no. lip colours are very stunning plum and berry shades great for an evening look. my favourite is Kir. Slide the lip colours to the right and below reveals 3 nude eyeshadows. Very good for a no makeup look as colours are very natural. this palette comes with a mini eyeshadow brush which on its other end has an eyeliner brush. another lip brush is also provided =) so u really get your money worth by getting this palette. 4 lip colours, 3 eyeshadows, and 3 different kinds of brushes!
