I bought this Shiseido S2 Sheer Gloss lipstick because I was at the Shiseido counter and a customer beside me was asking for like 3 S2 lipsticks and I was intrigued by how many she wanted. So I asked the SA to take a look and I finally ended up buying it because I thought I was missing out on something. But honestly, this orange colour was waaay to bright on me. It drew too much focus on my lips and not in a nice way. The good thing about it is the moisturizing formula. I had peeling lips and I used lip scrub and vaseline but neither worked well - and yes, I mentioned vaseline. Vaseline is like my go-to product when I have chapped lips, but for the longest time, my lips were just not smooth.

Anyways, if you plan to purchase this colour, make sure you try it on first. This colour may or may not work for you. It was too expensive and not worth it for me. =(

This is my first lipstick that my mum bought me back in my teenage like 14 or so. I like the perfect balance between orange and pink in this shade. But back then I still wasn't used to the idea of wearing lipstick. I kept buying new lipsticks and lipgloss and left this at the bottom of my drawer. Almost about a decade after, I picked it up and top it up with a sheer transparent lipgloss. I surprised myself that the shade and the finish actually beat all my other ones.

Although this lipgloss is a bit on the pricey side, I have bought at least 10 already and used them up very quickly. I love the feel, the smell and the color. The staying power is not there, but I really don't mind it because it just feels so good putting them on my lips.

I'm asian, light-skinned, with very pigmented lips. I bought this on the recommendation of a Shiseido SA when I was shopping at the DFS at Incheon Airport in Korea. She said this was the best MLBB shade for asian women, and I fell for it. I was seriously thinking of buying the berry sheer, but no.... the SA kept on convincing me that orange tint would not even show up on my lips. Well, she was dead wrong. It looks orangeish pink on me... I look funky as hell. I honestly don't know who I'd recommend this for. I DO like the purple casing though.

I can't thank this forum enough!!!! I truly LOOOOVE this lipstick! this is definitely my HG (holy grail - now I know). If the gloss wears out (but the color does not) I just put on a clear gloss - SUPER! Can't wait to try Berry Sheer!

What is the chance that you'd accidentally bump into a BRAND NEW lipstick in your Mom's drawer that she bought and never wore as she disliked the colour? Well, it just happened to me today. I was searching for some makeup to swap (hehe sorry Mom, but you have such immaculate collection) and decided I'd keep this one! It's exactly the colour that I've been trying to swap for in MAC Lipsticks all this time: a light peachy pink, awesomely fresh looking, sheer lipstick (no shimmer), but is extremely soft, moisturizing and I love it! Wonderful spring/summery colour, a perfect no-brainer. I'm NC30 with green eyes and brunette/golden blonde hair, but I see many different types of women wearing this. It does look good even on my Mom (NC20), but she continues to claim that she needs something darker (she doesn't). All peachy lovers, unite! ;)

I have been craving the *perfect* spring/summer lipstick, and I think this may be it! First of all, let me state that I have had great experiences with Shiseido products. My fave eyshadows, the hydropowders, are AMAZING quality and gorgeous in pigmentation. In addition, the powder foundation I use is fantastic. I think Shiseido is so underrated here! Props to Shiseido for quality products...the prices have actually been equal to the great quality.

Okay, onto the lipstick at hand. When I first applied this went on smoothly, but I felt like the color was not noticable enough! In th tube, it looks bright corally orange...On my pigmented lips, at first glance I thought the color was too sheer for me. However, upon rechecking my lips in my sunlit car, I noticed that they were a distinct coral shade, and looked fuller too! Lovely...sigh, love shiseido...

I took 1 point off because I felt like the lipstick was a *bit* drying; however, not as drying as MAC lipsticks.

I love this sheer lipstick range and have used Nuance Beige and Honey Tea in the past. I received Clear Orange in a swap and I'm enjoying it a lot although I managed to immediately break the stick because of the high summer heat :( . It's a light coral pink, sheer but still there. I think it could look a tad too bright if you're quite dark but for medium tone/tan skin it's really lovely. It has very good packaging, but the shape of the stick is annoyingly pointed. Still, a really good product and would love to try some other colours as well.

I always hated lipstick and never wanted to own any until I tried this! A beautiful sheer coral color that enhances my natural color perfectly inconspicuously, especially since it is almost exactly the color I normally have anyway. (Or maybe the fact that I think that is part of the magic of this thing!) The tube is an attractive bronze-brown rounded capsule that I'd be proud to carry around. Practically my perfect lipstick. I doubt I'll ever want to buy anything else (unless it's a variation on this.)

This lipstick is fantastic. It 's a gorgeous glossy peach with some coral and pink tones in it, but it is light and brightening at the same time. Great look for summer. Like the minimalist packaging too, although I dislike the shape of the lipstick itself (pointed with no flat surface). Ah well, very minor complaint.

I like all Shiseido The Makeup range packaging this included. The gloss is very sheer and adds only a tinge of colour, there is no plasticky smell.

I love this lipstick to death. It is not exactly orange, not exactly pink, but hovers in between, and the sheer formula allows the natural color of your lips to show through and make the color your own. This is the lipstick that never leaves my bag.

The name is misleading...this lipstick is more coral pink, than orange. This is one of the few lipsticks that I've ever had to re-purchase after completely using up my first one because it's just the perfect coral/pink for me that I've been unable to find in any other line! It's beautiful sheer color looks gorgeous worn with Shiseido's tangerine mandarine blush duo. Wonderful moisturizing formula too! I think this color looks beautiful worn on warm complexions.

This is expensive but such a lovely unique colour! It's a great orangey/coral/pink shade. It's bright but not over the top. It does does on fairly sheer but looks so nice on. It also mixes well with other shades. I'd buy this again, it's great! :)

Really more of a pink marmalade colour. Suits me very well (light/med warm).Smooth and glossy. Blots down for a pretty long-lasting stain which is more pink than orange.

My favorite lipstick for the last 3 years, and finally decided to add this review.
The name saids it all; gives a wash of color than can be intensified. Great formula. For those familiar with Mac See Sheer, less pink and coral, less opaque, but still there. Imo not just a summer color.
