This particular color really didn't do that much for me. It was way too light. I have a peachy skin tone,so my lips disappeared into my face. I do like this color paired with a warm brown lip liner. I would probably buy toasted almond instead.

I really like the colour, a great 'nude' on me as proper nude shades look bad on me, wash me out and give me that 'concealer lip' look. This however, works perfectly for my medium skintone. It has more of a pinky brown undertone that is a bit lighter than my natural lip colour, but is nice enough to wear everyday without looking too 'made up'. One of the colours I reach for most often when wearing darker eye makeup. I don't like the smell of this lipstick like alot of the other reviewers have mentioned. I do like that they are moisturising, and don't dry out my lips, but I still wear a thin layer of lipbalm underneath. Would buy again, but I think this has been discontinued?

I mainly wear nude-type lipsticks and this shade looks more nude in the tube than on my lips, where it's kind of peachy. Not a bad summer shade, though. Main complaint is that while it goes on creamy, it dries quickly and I need to put clear lip balm or gloss over it to prevent dry lips. Given the dryness and the peachiness (peachy just doesn't look that great on my skin), I won't repurchase but will instead look for another nude (possibly a cooler-toned one).

This is one of those nice, neutral, brownish-tawny pinks that I have about 15 of in my c collection. Although I like the color a lot and the formulation is fairly moisturizing, the smell of this bothers my husband so much that he refuses to come within 10 feet of me when I'm wearing it. For that reason, i wouldn't repurchase.

I like the color but I don't think it flattered me that well. What I do is dot it on and put a little bit of clear lip gloss. I really like how this has a little bit of a sheen to it and it is a universal color. However I went to Walgreens to buy and it cost $11! I don't know why I spent that much on a drugstore lip color and I can say it is not worth 11 dollars.

Great darker nude colour for my skin tone. (NC25) Just slightly darker than my natural lip colour. It can get a little drying and it tends to settle into the lines on my lips. The price makes up for that though.

It does look brown in the tube but it is really nice nude beige lipstick with glaze finish. It goes on smooth, creamy and moisturizing. If you love nude lipsticks like me, my favs are MAC Hue, Myth, Blankety, Freckletone, NARS Belle de Jour, L'Oreal Fairest Nude, you might like this.

Love. Finally found the shade of lipstick that would flatter any one of my eyeshadow looks- from neutral looks to dramatic smokey ones. This is definitely MLBB when lightly applied.
In the tube I was expecting it to come off as a regular brown toned lippie, but I was so wrong. It's just a beautiful nude with peach almost pink undertones that really warms it up. It's a warm nude for sure, not a ghastly concealer nude.
Application is smooth and it feels great on the lips and it's not the least bit drying on my chronically dried lips. Yes, it does smell like roses. It reminds me of the smell of my grandma's lipsticks when I would play with her makeup when I was a kid. It doesn't bother me too much since it doesn't linger, but is a very strong scent.
I got this for 75% off at CVS tonight. I don't think it's going to be repackaged since this was one of the few shades in the line that was on clearance. I am so sad to think that this shade is going to be discontinued. Ah, just my luck!

I've been avoiding L'oreal lipsticks because of the scent. I don't like the rosy scent, but now that I actually tried the product on my lips I think I can get past it. It's so smooth, so pigmented and what a great color on my lips. Most importantly, I can't believe how great it feels on my lips, much better than Revlon's super lustrous lipsticks. I am convert. Will buy more shades in the future. CVS is having a BOGO on L'oreal lipsticks. Original price would have been $8.99 which is pretty pricey for a drugstore brand.

Tried this on a whim and i cant put it down. Perhaps comparable to Hug Me in terms of a nice everyday go to color. They are not exactly the same, but provide similar moisturization. I luvvv it!

You cannot go wrong with this color! It's beautiful all by itself, but you can also put it over another color to "tone" it down a bit and create a lovely shade of your very own. It's very creamy, and I love it! I will definitely repurchase!!

I freaking love this color so much that I didn't even take one point off for the smell/taste. Most tawny's are too brown for my taste but this one is a nice beige with pink undertones very pretty on my lips. It gives me a very wearable nude lip. However I do have a dark complexion and really deep raspberry pigmented lips so I don't know if it will give the same nude effect on someone with a lighter complexion then me.

After reading Royaljosieness post, I had to laugh. I bought this at Walmart over the weekend for $5. I was in search of a nude lipstick for work. I tried a few and some of them made me look like a corpse. Not a good look to be sporting at work. I put this on this morning at work and I started to smell something and I thought my co-worker next to me was spraying a cologne or something. I didn't like it. As I read Royaljosieness, I thought to myself, the lipstick has a smell...nah...she's kidding. So, I took out the lipstick and smelled it and sure enough, it was that smell that I was complaining about! Duh! I don't think L'Oreal has ever changed the smell...it must be a signature scent. Anyway, with that aside, I do love it and will repurchase. I love the way it looks on me. Gave it only 4 lippies because of the scent but I can live with it. I am old..well, I feel old anyway. If you can get over the scent and you are looking for nude that would not make you look like the bride of frankenstein, give this one a try...after all $5.00 is not so bad. You can always give it to your younger sister or niece.

Although the smell of this lipstick reminds me of an old lady, I love the nude/pink color. This is a great dupe for MAC's Honeylove matte lipstick. The consistency is very creamy and it lasts for a long time. I have NC30 skintone and this is the perfect nude lipstick for me. The price is okay. Not super cheap but not expensive. It is kind of expensive for a d/s lipstick but I got it for BOGO free at CVS so it was a good deal!

This is the perfect nude that I have been searching for for a long time! It's got just the right amount of pink so that it looks natural. The smell is too rosy and old-womanly for me but that's ok. I love this and I find myself reaching for it very often!

Like most of us, I have been searching for my HG nude lippie and I've tried so many great shades, ranging from MAC to Cover Girl to Joey New York and back again. I really thought that MAC's Freckletone would do it for me but sadly, it was just too orange for my PPP skin. I know that MAC makes a wide variety of nude shades for all skin tones but I can't afford to try them all. I received this lippie in a swap sight unseen and kind of assumed that it just wouldn't work, so I was really surprised when it did. I've had a lot of luck with the Colour Riche peach shades and this has a peach base, so it's not too different from what worked for me. I really enjoy corals and peaches in the fall and winter so this seems to be natural and lighter progression color-wise for the spring and summer. I'd love to try Guerlain's Envie de Beige, but I'll hang onto this one since its such a steal. I'm very happy to recommend it.

Another beautiful nude color! I would describe it as a brown-pink nude color with a moisturized matte texture. I have mixed feelings about this one. While it is beautiful, it tends to be a little too dark and too brown for my NC15 complexion. Plus, I hate the rosy smell of L'Oreal and Lancome lipsticks. Other than that, it's pretty nice.

Definitely give this lipstick a try, I LOVE IT. The color is so rich and creamy, so smooth and PERFECT. It's a tie between this and Covergirl's Peach Shine. The Covergirl is a bit more sheer because it is so moisturizing, but Tawny is more pigmented and love the packaging!

This was my very first lipstick years and years ago. I put it on a shelf for a while and have brought it out again. This color is so flattering on me (nc25, auburn hair, hazel eyes) and even at ~10 years, its still creamy. It's a perfect pinky brown nude with decent lasting power and because, its a Lancome brand, smells nice too. I am almost out, but will definately repurchase.
