I wanted to like this masque, I was really excited to have it, as it has some great ingredients, but it just didn't work. My hair is still as frizzy as before, and I don't notice any additional moisture. It also doesn't detangle at all - I had to apply conditioner afterwards to get that slip (which I need with curly hair). I've tried leaving in on overnight and using it with heat. Anyway I try it doesn't work. I agree with another review in that it feels like it just coats the hair - even with heat, it doesn't seem to penetrate, and it definitely does NOT make your hair more pliable - it's like it doesn't bend right afterwards, if that makes any sense. I think it works just like shea butter, so save your money! I also used this a week after I used my Ojon to compare - well, no comparison, Ojon works wayyyyy better. Sad I didn't check MUA before buying. Sigh.

Cannot recommend and don't know what I'm going to do with the tub now :(

Just not worth the money, there are cheaper alternatives with better results. Although i wouldn't say that this product is bad per se - my hair is softer, but not shinier. I find that it gives better results if you leave it in for more than 20 minutes and let hair dry naturally. If you've bought it and are disappointed (like I am) then maybe this will work for you too and the money will not be totally wasted.

I found the smell nice but subtle - not at all like orchids though and closer to the "cake" another reviewer mentioned.
I have longer than shoulder length straight hair, fine but thick, and was hoping this would help with the frizz I get at the nape of my neck where it gets mildly wavy.
I didn't care for the direction to apply strand by strand and comb through after applying, I stopped after several hairs broke - don't they know you're not supposed to comb wet hair? It would've worked if it was more of a slippery mask but it isn't.
Left it on for 20 minutes, afterwards my hair was a bit tangled in places, hard to run both my fingers and a comb through it after I'd blowdried it, which isn't typical. Looked good but no more shiny or soft than any other day.
I got this for free so I can't complain, but I would not purchase it.

After all these horrible reviews I was disappointed to get Masque as a gift. But I am glad to say that it worked really well on my hair.
I took one star off for the price but I dont really see why other reviewers had to give it a bad review just based on the price. This Masque does everything it promises to do: my hair is not frizzy, it is manageable, shiny and has added volume. I loved using it together with Huile de Palme or alone. My hair is thin, weak and long- this mask was very easy to put on, had a lovely scent (if you are sensitive to scents dont buy it) and produced lovely results!
If you have extra money to indulge into a luxurious product that makes your hair look shiny, silky and voluminous- I would recommend it.

A few years ago, a long overseas assignment left me with hair that was overworked and overprocessed. My hair felt coarse, had no shine, etc. A stylist friend suggested this product. Oh god I hated it. It's thick and almost gummy. Once in my hair, it was difficult to get out and left my hair feeling coated. The odor is cloying and gave me a headache. Maybe this works for some - it sure as hell didn't work for me. I rarely trash an item, but I chucked this stuff happily.

I hated this stuff. I have exactly the type of hair that it's reccomended for- coarse and frizzy, but this wasn't anything special at all. I've had better results from drugstore conditioners. I left it on for 20 or so minutes, but it wasn't any more effective. This might work for someone with thinner, finer hair, but if your's is thick and curly PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save your money. Don't be fooled by the gorgeous packaging. NOT WORTH IT.

I WANTED to love this product. I didn't. In fact, I hated it. I admit that my hair didn't need such an intensive treatment, but that doesn't make up for the awful feel of this stuff. I also know what orchids smell like and THIS just ain't it. Bleck.

My hairstylist recommended this and so I purchased without trying. It is very average and I did not get any better results than with my John Frieda mask or Louise Galvin mask. Very average product. My hair is soft but no outstanding results, in fact after rinsing it out I noticed that my hair was not as soft as usual!

Very disappointed in this product. Had been wanting to try it for awhile & finally splurged. It was just average, maybe even below average given the high cost, and not nearly as good as, say, Fekkai's Protein Rx conditioner.

I had to try this after reading about it in a Lucky magazine blurb. Eh, it's not that great in my opinion. I didn't find it to leave my hair silky either.

so-so mask in my opinion. The smell and texture are just fine...however, the performance leaves something to be desired on my long, wavy, with damaged ends hair. It simply doesn't moisturise enough for me, especially for a mask. It reminds me a bit of FF Shea butter mask, but less hydrating. On the positive side, it won't weigh your hair down and the smell is nice.

Smells more like cake rather than an orchid or something floral. Texture is creamy and thick - not runny. I can use this everyday, but it's pretty expensive, so I like having it as a weekly deep conditioning treatment. I leave it anywhere from 10-20 minutes after shampooing depending on how dry my hair feels. I don't know how effective this would be for really damaged or frizzy hair...it's not as emollient as other hair masks/treatments that I have tried.
Don't know if I will repurchase on account of the high price tag. Don't care much for the packaging either....it's hard not to get any water into the jar while I'm using this in the shower.

I've been using the Orchid Mask on my hair for about 9 months now -- and I still adore it. The smell is absolutely incredible -- and the effects are equally beautiful. My dry overprocessed frizz is tamed and shiny, not weighed down. I definitely have repurchased & will continued to do so.

THIS smells amazing, much better than the Honey & Roses shampoo! I honestly wanted to eat it, it was scented like a tasty confection! It also worked wonders on my hair, making it sleek yet retaining the volume. I am thinking of purchasing this when I run out of my Fekkai Protein Rx hair mask because it has strengthening properties as well.

Another terrrific product from LG. Fantastic for hair that needs tons of TLC. Can't say enough good things about it.After I apply it I put on a plastic cap, that makes it penetrate even better. And it smells Divine.
