I purchased this twice just for the pink shade. It's a neutral taupe/pink/gold shade that looks wonderful and stays put. I couldn't color match the shade in any other brand. I've learned to love the champagne color which is much less gold than it was in my prior trio. The brown is a bit dark for my fair skin, but this product is amazing.

I honestly just bought this for the brown shade- I was having a hard time finding the right shade of chocolatey matte brown with a nice texture and just grabbed the trio because I was tired of looking. It kind of reminds me why I don't usually buy pre-selected palettes, as I rarely find that I want or need all of the included shades. The pink and gold shades are not particularly impressive, they seem like something I could get more easily and cheaply in a drugstore line. They're not terrible, just nothing special. I do like the brown, it's dark enough to use as a liner as well as a shadow. The trio wasn't incredibly expensive but I would probably be better off trying to find the right colour in a single next time. The pot is a sort of matted plastic similar to Nars packaing, so it gets kind of dirty and icky looking quite quickly... not a fan of that choice.

I love the color combination on this trio eyeshadow! I can create a nice, fresh everyday look :) I love the rubbery packaging too! very stylish!

Bought the "Panorama" trio - purplish, taupe, and white. The colors are really pretty but they don't show up much. Wanted a good white highlight color but it doesn't quite show in pictures either... Probably will go back to mac eye shadows.

This is a fairly recent color trio for Smashbox called "Shutterspeed". The palette includes a bone shade, a medium neutral and a dark shadow. The lightest shade works well on my skin which is medium-pale with some redness on the eyelids. It has a bit of pale pink/apricot undertone which I was concerned about but it is actually very neutral on and does a very good job of covering up redness. The medium shade which is an ecru doesn't really show up much at all and I think is a little too sheer. The dark shadow is a medium charcoal, leaning towards pewter. All of the colors look a bit sparkly in the pot but they are quite matte when on your skin. Although I reallly like the bone shade, I think I would only repurchase it separately as the other two colors don't really do much for my blue eyes.

It's pretty pointless to purchase this product: the "pink" shows up sheer gold, and what is suppose to be "gold" shows up yellowish. Waste of $6.99.

I really like this trio. It consists of a light pink, yellowish gold, and a dark brown. The pink and yellow have very slight shimmer to it. I like these colors because I think they create a great neutral eye, but the colors and combination is different and interesting enough to not be boring. I'm surprised how much I liked the yellow gold color as a highlight.

the publisher shade looks fine but it doesn't do anything extra.. i'll buy it again but maybe a different shade.

I expected a heavier pigment for the price. The colors aren't that noticeable whether it was head shot or panorama.

This was the first Smashbox product I've tried and I must say I am hooked. I love pinks and browns but tend to stay away from Golds. I must say I was pleasantly surprised because I really love it. The pigment is excellent and it blends so well. I wore this to a MAC pro store last week and the MA actually asked me if I was an artist myself and was loving my eyes. Pure heaven to my ears, thanks Smashbox!!!

I love these colors. The pink color is a little too light for my taste but the other colors with it are fantastic. The brown is dark enough for the crease and the gold color is really nice for the brow bone. It really accents the eyes. Beautiful.

I love the colors from the eyeshadow and it lasts very long. I like the packaging also, a bit MAC- like. Simple and chique.

the pink barely shows up. the ''gold'' is really pale and looks chalky on me. the brown is nice for a brown shadow. it's just sooo....plain...
would not repurchase.

If you're looking for an eyeshadow that will go with anything you wear or any make-up combo, this is it!! No matter what I pull out of my closet this shade works. It applies softly for day and can be smoken' hot for night. The highlighter shade is a soft gold, I like this under my browbone. I put the peachy pink shade on my lid, and the deep chocolate in my crease. And if you own Smashboxs' Soft lights in Luminance, it's a match made in heaven! Along with NARS' Babe lipgloss, HOT!!!

I was really excited to try this product, I got this as part of a set from Smashbox called All Access VIP Beauty Must Haves. I usually use browns and pinks on my eyes and so I figured this would work well. The pink barely shows up on my fair skin. The brown is HIGHLY pigmented and almost looks black. I try using the pink as a base and the brown in the crease but I have to blend blend blend in order to not look like a clown. I feel like I will try to use this for a smokey evening look, but its too much for daytime.

The texture of these shadows is beautiful. They never crumble. I'm not too fond of the gold shadow, because with my yellow undertones it just is altogether too much! The pink is shimmery and pretty, and looks beautiful as a brow highlighter and all over base shadow. The rich chocolate brown is great in the crease for a smokey eye-you just have to blend it well. All in all, this is a gorgeous trio. I use it at night for a smoky eye, and just the pink in the daytime for a more subtle yet shimmery look.

The colors in this trio are very pretty; a golden color, a light pink color, and a chocolate brown. The brown is highly pigmented and goes on nicely, but the golden and pink shades don't seem to have as much pigment. The golden shade is very flattering on my brown eyes, but I have to apply quite a bit of it to get any color to show up, and I gave up on the pink shade altogether.
I'm disappointed, as this would have been a very nice color trio otherwise.

I Love Smashbox! I use these eyeshadows everyday. There are nice neutral colors for everday use and they also have bright vibrant colors for the days I want something different. The eyeshadows are lightweight and feel good on the skin.

I, too, wasn't impressed with this trio. I have light/medium skin, and the golden shade looks horrible on me for some reason--it looks too orange or brassy on my skintone. The deep chocolate is smooth and silky, but I find the dusty shimmery pink quite bland and ordinary.

This is the newest trio from Smashbox's Digital Color Collection (fall 2003). It contains three colors in a shimmery golden champagne, a shimmery pale pink, and a rich matte chocolate shade. Overall I was not too impressed by this trio. The chocolate shade is like every other dark brown matte shade (in like three Stila trios). The soft beigey champagne shade is also standard. The best color is the pale pink. It looks stunning on with a nice amount of pigment. But even that isnt an extraordinary shade. I like this trio and how smashbox shadows last all day. But others may want to skip it if they already have these shades!
