My go-to perfume for about 10 years. It is summery without being sickly sweet and overly sugary (although I do like some of those perfumes too:) and has really good staying power on my skin. I guess one day I'll get sick of this perfume but right now, it's still my favourite ever. So light and fresh and just makes you feel happy putting it on.

I just had to review this product because I've been wearing it for over 7 years, and it's my husband's FAVORITE scent on me ever. (He calls it "ocean smell".) It's a nice light fragrance with great staying power. I was in the store the other day and I was wearing it, and a girl turned around to me and said "Wow, you smell really good!" haha.

I think my husband would be very sad if I ever stopped wearing this, so I will definitely be repurchasing.

Oh, I really detest this fragrance and ended up using it as a room spray but even then I could not stand the smell: Fake marine.

This is absolutely my favorite perfume. I think it has a sophisticated scent. I can't even describe it -- It doesn't REMIND me of the ocean, perse, but it almost makes me believe that the ocean could smell as beautiful as this. I know it doesn't. LOL I bought it without even testing it first because the only place I could get it was a hard-to-find fragance store and they didn't have a tester. So, I risked it and I'm glad I did!

I used to like this fragrance, but upon wearing it recently the oceanic notes are just too sharp and a little bit cheap smelling. Plus, this fragrance does not have very good staying power, though it does lose the sharpness and become sweeter, although more generic, in a couple of hours.

The bitter and watery notes of it do remind me of ocean... however, i find it too strong and sometimes the oceanic quality turns me sick. Although i disagree, some people commented that it smells like boiled sweet potatoes. im giving 3 for the price because u can get it quite cheap online.

A soft, lovely, clean 'blue' fragrance. It reminds me of freesia (which it has in it) because you would wear it in the same manner...when you want to smell fresh but don't want to use the good evening stuff. I prefer this over Davidoff's Cool Water anytime. Only thing is i wish it didn't wear off so quick.

I love this fragrance when it was first launched. Still love it, but sad that it is discontinued. Managed to get hold of a bottle again last year when I saw it at some discounted fragrance outlet.

The scent is fresh and reminds me of the ocean and beach. Perfect for a summer day out.

I tried this to exchange or update my usual summer fragrance which is Aqua di Gio, its a tad too sweet for me in hot weather, but for a breezy spring day it is good. I found it at the Elizabeth Arden warehouse here in San Francisco.

Soft but abundant to me. I can't handle most fragrances, but this one I like. Nice jeans and white t-shirt feeling like a woman scent.

I've loved Ocean Dream for years...it's a soft, light, dreamy scent that's not too heavy on the flowers or fruits. It really does remind me of a day at the beach. A good scent for everyday, casual wear.

BTW, I did see gift sets of Ocean Dream EDT and lotion for sale at JCPenney just a couple of days ago, so it may not be discontinued! (That is, unless the gift sets are left over from last year, or if this scent is only released at Christmas time.) At any rate, it is still easily obtainable. I bought a new, large 3 oz. bottle for a reasonable price from a seller on Ebay!

Edit: Ocean Dream is now distributed by Designer Parfums of England and is no longer affiliated with Giorgio.

i used to use this fragrance in High school. it smells absolutely terrific, has a soft sensual-yet-innocent scent.
i just found out its discountinued BUMMERS. i still have a bit left in one of the old bottles so im gonna have to start checking out perfumebay and such to see if i can buy it online. i cant believe they discontinued something that smells so beautiful. =*(

This scent is supposedly made entirely from flowers which grow in the ocean as well as something called Blue Sandalwood. It is a light marine/floral scent. It is my cousin's favorite, so I tried it out of curiosity.

Unfortunately, the marine note in this gave me an intense headache and I just couldn't wear it. While the scent seems clear and fresh on my cousin, it just smelled strong on me and it smelled like almost any other marine scent out there on the market. Just not my thing, I suppose.

I believe this scent has been discontinued. I know it's still sought after by its fans, though, and it is widely available online at scentagious.com, perfumebay.com and other places.

why is it that every scent i love ends up discontinued???

i normally never wear "real" perfume: i'm much more of a cocoa butter/essential oil/body spray kinda girl. but i was given this scent as a gift, and i save it for special occasions.

i love it. it's not so strong, cloying, or floral that i get a headache (like i do with most "real" perfumes).

it really DOES remind me of the ocean!

and the bottle is gorgeous.

This is my absolute favorite fragrance in the world. I'm so glad Perfumania still carries it. I bought a gift set with the body lotion and shower gel recently, omg, I'm in heaven. I hope Perfumania continues to carry this, because I don't know what I would do without it.
