Burned first time i used this--even though my skin is senstive this is a bad sign regardless of skintype. Was ok at removing makeup--the ingredients has lots of alcohol though! Dissappointed by nuxe line in general.
UPDATE: It turns out i actually used "Nuxe Micellar Cleansing Water with 3 Roses" which i thought was this. Here's the ingredients for that Aqua/water, Butylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Poloxamer 184, Sodium Chloride, Disodium Phosphate, Allantoin, Benzyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Bromide, Citric Acid, Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Bht, Rosa Alba Flower Extract, Rosa Hybrid Flower Extract, Citronellol [n0501/e].

I thought I loved Roc Cleansing Water but that was before I got this one as a GWP. It's very mild and yet cleans better than the other one. I wouldn't use it when I wear foundation because I find I would be using too much product. Love it especially in the morning. It's fast and I don't think that the light fragrance would cause any irritation on sensitive skin. I will definitaly repurshase. Great as an eye makeup remover.

Love this product. It does a great job cleaning, and is still very gentle and soothing. No irritation whatsoever! The smell is very pleasant. Not much to say about this product except that I feel right at home!

I used to use DHC Cleansing Oil to remove the sunblock and make-up everyday. But it irritated and dried my skin, and my face became very sensitive. This is so much gentler on my skin, easier to use, less messy. And most importantly, it cleans equally well. I use it everyday follow by Shiseido foamy cleanser.
Thank you MUA reviewers for recommending this product!

This is a wonderful eye make up remover, the best I have tried. It is gentle and quite effective. I like that I can use it even when I have my contact lenses in, without any irriation. It isn't oily either, and has a very soft and neutral scent. It isn't cheap, but when you think about the size, then it is definitely worth the price. It lasts a very long time, and I find that you don't need to use that much of the product to remove your make up compared to many other eye make up removers. My only problem with it is that it often doesn't get rid of all my eye make up (though I do wear quite a bit...) so I have some residue after washing my face. I fix this by applying a bit more of this on a q tip or else a bit of Vaseline. Overall, I highly recommend this product! I can't imagine anything much better out there.

Very easy to use (just a cotton pad and the cleanser) and it removes everything (though I have to do it twice to remove mascara) and I feel very clean. My sensitive, acne prone skin has responded well and I much prefer this over messy cleansers. A great find. Thanks girls for your reviews otherwise I would never have found this little gem!

Best makeup remover ever. I use it at night, and I have no trouble removing mascara and eyeliner. It doesn't sting, it smells good, it's not oily at all. Definite repurchase.

Excellent for removing make-up but I would avoid using this too close to the eyes. I accidentally got some in my eye and it stung really badly. However, this is a refreshing cleansing water that cleanses skin and removes make-up surprisingly well for a "water" cleanser. I use an oil cleanser afterwards because I feel paranoid if I do not clean my face twice at night.

I got a sample of this but will likely repurchase because it is easy to use and not too expensive.

It is a great product. I find it is very similar to Vichy Calming Cleansing Solution. And of course it smells really great like many NUXE products I guess. The only con I have – it does not remove waterproof mascara (i.e. Diorshow waterproof).

This is a great product and I have made repeat purchases. "Eau Demaquillante" ( Cleansing Water Face And Eyes) is so gentle and does not cause breakouts (non-oily). It is for all skin types, and is safe for contact lens wearers. It looks like water in the bottle.
Ingredients: Floral Waters (Rose, Cornflower, Lime-blossom) 32%, Green Tea Extract 1%.
I just use it to remove make-up and then I follow with a scrub cleanser for my oily skin.

I'm really impressed with this product. It does a wonderful job of cleansing the skin (I use two soaked large-size cotton pads, followed up with spraying Avene thermal water on my face, and a dry cotton pad to wipe this off), and doesn't burn or leave my skin feeling tight afterwards. It also takes off makeup like a dream- I sometimes use MAC paints as eyeshadow, and this takes it off with no problem. It also smells absolutely lovely. I have repurchased several times (and overall, I am extremely impressed by Nuxe products on the whole). I have never tried Avene Micellar cleanser, but would be curious as to how the two compare. **Edit: I have tried the Avene Micellar and the Nuxe is by far a superior product, IMO. The Nuxe takes off makeup gently, with no tugging or scrubbing necessary, which I didn't find to be the case with the Avene. In addition, the Nuxe easily takes off eyeshadow, etc, and I found the Avene did not. Also, the Nuxe product is cheaper (250 Ml for $20 CAD, as opposed to 200 ml for $25 for the Avene). I am thoroughly satisfied with this product, and highly recommend it.

Is this product for real? How can floral water remove make-up and other facial impurities so effectively? And how can it leave the skin so soft?I almost feel bad for having exposed my poor skin to all the harsh-foaming-sodium-lauryl-sulfate-packed cleansers when all it wanted is for me to buy Nuxe Eau Demaquillante.Update:Just found out a whole list of ingredients in this water.Such overwhelming amount of parabens concerns me.Although the bottle says "No need to rinse off",from now on I definitely will. Here we go,the ingredients:water, butylene glycol poloxamer 184,polysorbate 20,centaurea cyanus flower water, tilia cordata flower water, rosa gallica flower water, sodium chloride, disodium phosphate, chlorhexidine digluconate, allantoin, tetrasodium EDTA,phenoxyethanol, chlorphenesin, citric acid,PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, propylene glycol, camelia synensis leaf extract, methylparaben, butylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, isobutylparaben.

I love this cleansing water. Feels so fresh and does not leave any residue on my skin. It takes off my long wearing foundation and soothes my cheek redness. I would love to have this product available with a pump (like eau de bienfait from Lancome) as it would be that much more convenient to use. Perfect for when I am feeling lazy and don't want to do the full routine at night.

I can't say enough about this product! It removes EVERYTHING, gently, without oiliness and without drying. I use it at night for removing eye makeup and when I'm too lazy to wash, I use it all over my face. It's my HG eye makeup remover - similar to the Klorane (which I love) but works better and smells nicer.

I use this product to remove eye makeup and in the morning to quickly refresh skin. It works very well for both purposes. It removes eye makeup (mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow) surprisingly well and is very gentle. I wear contacts and the area around my eyes is very sensitive but this product doesn’t irritate my eyes or my skin. I find the price reasonable given the good quality ingredients, especially compared to eye makeup removers usually sold in much smaller bottles for a similar or higher price. I’m happy with this product and see no reason to change. I will repurchase.

I am liking this much better than Klorane Cornflower (burned my eyes) and even the Vichy Purete Thermale water cleanser. It is cheaper than the Clarins Water Comfort and seems equally effective without the 'tacky' residue that Clarins leaves on my skin. Contains soothing, rose, linden flower and cornflower extracts, plus green tea. Pairing this with my Nuxe Reve de Miel face wash leaves my skin clean and velvety-soft. I use Retin-A, and other retinaldehyde products and appreciate the gentleness of Nuxe cleansers.

I'm very impressed with this product. I received a cute little travel-size bottle in a Nuxe GWP earlier this week, tried it that evening, and ran back to the shop the next day to buy a full-sized bottle. I have always used Lancome's Bi-Facil to remove my eye make-up (as I use waterproof mascara nearly every day), but I am now switching to this. It works just as well for me but is not the least bit oily (the Bi-Facil is sooo oily) and the mild scent is absolutely delicious. The best part is that I received a second GWP when I bought it, so now I have *two* little bottles for travel and a big one for home! EDITED I have noticed that if I use two coats of waterproof mascara (or touch it up during the day), this remover can't deal with it. I have to break out the Bi-Facil for that. Good thing I didn't throw it away!

edit 18.Juli/2006: smells very beautiful, love it so much, it is very mild I love all Nuxe I've tried. They are good products for skin they help my skin very much, they heal, beautifiye, help with my skintone and skin glow and health, smell, look and wellness. Nuxe Eau Dimaquillante gives a very fresh sensation of mild beauty care to my skin and makes my skin much more beautiful caring very good for it's thin texture and it makes my pores smaller and my whole face appear very good cared for. maybe I look happy too with Nuxe products.

NUXE's Eau Demaquillante is a dream come true. For years I have been seeking a really gentle, non-lotion/cream formula cleanser and I've now found it! This product is mild yet its super cleansing properties does also remove stubborn mascara (not sure if it will remove waterproof mascara though). It's a habit of mine to use a wash-off cleanser after cleaning off my makeup, and so I use this before washing with the NUXE Honey Cleanser for the Face. Lightly scented and pleasant to use, in a size that should last me for ages. Fans of NUXE will know that their products do not come in fancy packaging, but I'm glad that they've concentrated on making quality products rather than on the packaging.

I'm really impressed with Nuxe, the products i've tried so far have been really great quality and value for money. I can't wait to try more now that they have a concession near me. As a previous review says I love their honey Mild Cleansing Gel, Phytochoc was good and the cleansing water is no less brilliant. This is a flower water based cleansing water for face and eyes. It has rose, lime blossom and cornflower waters plus green tea. It is brilliant at removing makeup, removes mascara, foundation and liners effortlessly which is surprising for such a natural based product. I've been searching for a really good eye makeup remover for ages, one that doesn't need lots of product, cotton pads and rubbing to work and then leave a residue. I thought Lancome's Bi-Facil, supposedly the best, was rubbish and many others haven't performed as i've wanted them too. This does. All makeup is gone in one swipe leaving nothing behind, and its really moisturising and gentle at the same time. Not at all acidy, greasy or harsh. It actually leaves my skin not only clean but soft, hydrated and refreshed. Absolutely great, what more could you want?
