I like this product. It's very sparkly, **glittery**, and diva-like. It's a little too dramatic for an everyday thing (but I wore it everyday! :D). It's cute and girly. It gives off a hint of color, but for the most part it's sheer. Yet, I like how it's gives off the right amount of color to my lips. I get a ton of compliments-I got one from my teacher too! Basically, I like how it looks. I think it depends on the color you pick. A nude, peachy color can be everyday and a dramatic hot pink can be for night outs.
It tastes great too! It tastes kinda like a fruity-berry kind a thing. It just tastes so good on my lips. Which surprises me, because not all Rimmel glosses taste this good-most taste horrid!
Some say it's too thin, but I think it's the perfect consistency. It's not watery at all! The lasting power is not very long though. You would have to re-apply after about an hour-hour & 1/2. And of course you would have to re-apply after you eat and such.
Overall, I like this mostly because of the great look and delicious taste.

I got today the195-Born to Bling one(it has a gold shine) on a sale(50% off). I like the smell and taste.
It's shiny, it doesn't have so many sparkles, but a little bit sticky. I even ate and it was still on my lips, so compared more expensive lip glosses it's a pretty good deal.
I'm thinking of getting 2 more shades now I've seen how it is.

Seriously? I have no idea why I purchased this lipgloss. It's worthy of being described with expletives. The consistency is awful. It's a very thin formula that feels uncomfortable and sticky on and numbed my lips for whatever reason. It doesn't even have a pretty finish to make it worth wearing - just looks clear and boring, but with no redeeming qualities, such as being moisturizing. It smells like plastic. I am just revolted by this lipgloss, and even though it costs less than socks, I would rather have my money back if I could. This is probably my least favored lipgloss of any that I've tried. I've attempted to use it for other things (as a topcoat, etc.) but it fails in all categories.

Okay I don't know what colour my lipgloss is, as the writing has totally rubbed off the tube, but I can only best describe it as pretty close to my own lip colour, but a little more pink? Haha, I was looking for something natural but in a colour that would give my lips a punch. I really like this lip gloss, I find it is pretty moisturizing and I only reapply after eating, which is not bad. I like the citrus-y smell and the applicator, but my only complaint would be that the part where I screw the wand back in gets gross after a while (gloss kinda oozes out a bit). Oh and it's not SUPER sticky which I liked. I would buy this again, but I can't seem to find the shade anymore..I checked the Rimmel website and they seem to have updated with fewer colours.

I have it in Star Kissed- 180 (it took my several searches on Ebay to locate the name becaue most of the writting has rubbed off). It is a pretty peachy/orange pink with golden sparkles.
I like the tube; very compact and cute. When I bought sometime in 2006, the gloss used to be a lot more opaque and the color showed up better. It was my favorite lipgloss for a long time. I wish I could find another fresh tube. It wears very well (2-3 hours), and used to smell like orange cream (now its gotten a little gross). It does tend to run a little bit, but it is such a pretty color. I would definetly repurchase it!

Vinyl stars lip gloss is a heavy amount of ingredients to put on the lips. I feel it when I tried it on. It's rather sticky and is not something I would put in my purse. The colors do not absorb my attention because the lip gloss isn't stunning. The lip gloss is just like any other lip gloss which has a moderate level of shimmer. I think you can buy a better gloss with a better variety of colors.

I got this in a nice dark pink colour (194) and I love it. Not only the colour compliments my lips ans skin tone as it also lasts a long time and just doesn't fade away like most glosses. And it smells like pineapple or lemon, I can't tell but it's nice. And the price is excelent, no more highend lip products for me!

i got this in hot rock and liquid asset (red and hot pink) and i love it. i wanted an everyday cheap lipgloss as i bought the lancome colour fever and its too expensive to keep buying and i found this, and i have to admit it maybe even slightly better than the lancome. its so sparkly and shimmery and being a girly magpie myself find this amazing when im out and about day and evening. i have even swapped this for my lancome one as liquid asset is just a great hot pink. the only thing i would have to say about it, is that the yummy orange scent of this goes off after a little while and it smells funny, but then its cheap enough just to chuck it and get another one. great buy i hope rimmel bring out more colours as i am def a fan.

I got this from Shoppers today, since it was on sale. I got it in 178 Love Bug and 195 Born to Bling. and i got to say, this is one of the best lip gloss ive ever used. its super shiny and non sticky. the sparkles in these glosses are just right not too much and not too big. and i like the packaging, the little crown design on top of the ward is just too cute. the only thing i would like it to change is the Cranberry smell, it doesnt bother me too much, but i would prefer without it.

It's official, I'm addicted to buying lip gloss. I have more of them than I could ever use, and I keep buying more. I think I might need therapy.
This is a good basic gloss; inexpensive, glossy, and with no particularly obvious flavor or scent. It's nothing amazing, but for the $5 I paid, I didn't expect a miracle. I just expected lip gloss that didn't dry out my lips, taste disgusting, or make me look like a clown, and that's precisely what I got. What a pleasant surprise.

Seems that this lip gloss is made of water and few sparkles...I had it in Movie Star. Its formula is very thin and low pigmented though it looks bright and sheer red in the tube. Needless to say that it doesn`t give my lips volume . Won`t repurchase.

I have this in shimmer- the light pink one which goes on clear. It has pretty little particles of subtle glitter in it which beautifully reflects the light. I love it coz it's shiny and quite thick but it's tastes like plastic, especially if you keep applying it. It doesn't last very long for me coz i like my lipgloss to be thick and shiny all the time so i have to keep reapplying it quite often. But overall i love the shine.

I got the bronze one (can't remember the name) for free from a promotion thingy. Let me just say...I CAN'T STAND THE SMELL OF IT. It's so disgusting that I was tempted to just throw it in the trash. I really like the color though. It's kind of a brassy/bronze color that's really not thick or gloppy. Still cannot get over the terrible smell, though.

This gloss is the poo! The Be A Star colour is SOO flattering. I have super pale skin but had a awesome fake tan this summer and it looks great with both skin tons. If this stuff ever gets discontinued there will be a injustice to the world. HOW is this stuff so cheap? It kicks butt on any other gloss I've ever owned.

This is a perfect alternative to pricey glosses. It's got that nice shine/shimmer, but lacks tremendous staying power...but you're paying less than half what you would for something w/more staying power -- so it kinda evens out. The colors can't be beat. They look more solid in the tube but apply a little more sheer, making them more adaptable to different lip colors. My gf's and I all use the same color, but we're not all the same complexion.

I got this lip gloss in star dust, a brown shade. don't be scared off by how brown it looks. when I put it on my natually slightly reddish lips, it looks very natural and summery since the coverage is not as good as the original vinyl lips. However, the vinyl stars line has glitters that's so shimmery and pretty, I say it's better than vinyl lips. This shade actually makes your lips look bigger. but it is very sticky plus it wears off super fast.

Yay! Just found this fave of mine (colour: Be A Star)on sale at the drugstore today. Rimmel's been a great recent addition to Canadian drugstore makeup inventories, and this gloss is a perfect example of why. It's a great sort of neutral rosy pink, w. a subtle shimmer (+ appropriate for late 30s), and a yummy taste that reminds me of Creamsicles. ;) The price is reasonable too. I only wish I didn't have to reapply it so often, but I'm sure I couldn't get the nice sheer look I love with something heavier.

I am loving this new line of glosses! I was shopping for other things when these caught my eye and I couldn't leave the store without Hot Sparks (glittery red) because it looked so pretty in the tube. I usually don't like red tinted lips, but this is subtle enough to blend with my natural lip color and still look pretty. The texture is thinner than regular Lip Vinyls, but still has good staying power and a nice smell/taste. I can't wait to try more!
