I am not a fan of matte foundations but this one I really like. I love the coverage- totally wearable for even bad skin days yet with a lightweight feel. It looks natural on, not overly matte (the packaging describes it as a 'delicate matte finish')- your skin but better. For me, Sun Beige is a perfect match for my skin and it stays put for a full 8 hours or more.. it's very transfer-resistant. Haven't worn it for warm weather yet though, but I imagine it will be a perfect stay-put foundation for long summer days because of its oil free formula. It is also a matte foundation that goes with all types of powder blushes and bronzers, setting powders etc without making your face look too powdery or caked up which I like. And I really love the grown-up packaging. It's supposed to be for all skin types and is fragrance free, thumbs up.

It's a decent foundation but there are very few shades, I picked up the lightest one and it's too dark.

So Far I love this product. I bought it yesterday for about $10. I got my colour in natural ivory. They only have five shades, which isnt much. The Coverage Is Light to medium, Its Covers Just enough but not too much so it looks likes you arent wearing makeup, It covers my red Cheeks & Hides all my dark sports. I dont have to wear concealer with this either. I cant say if it makes me break out, But I wouldnt think so since my skin isnt acne prone so i dont tend to break out a lot. I think this foundation is awesome for everyday wear and is great to wear if you have a job. It lasts about 5 hours, so Re-applying would be needed. Leaves my skin feeling smooth & is very lightweight, Its Like a second skin. I Love The Packaging too, Hard to get foundation with the tube, A little goes a long way too, About the size of a pea covers most of my face.
Gonna buy this again.
EDIT: After wearing this foundation for a week straight, I have noticed that at the end of the week, My nose, cheek & mouth area were very flaky. I know its because of the foundation because my face is never that bad. I still wear it, just not as often since i dont want another dry face incident.
So for people with combination-dry(very dry) this might not work for your skin.

I'm really impressed with this product, I bought it about a week ago and have not broken out AT ALL from it! I did experience the initial burning feeling that other people talk about and I think that's the flower/leaf extracts in it. It doesn't exactly throw those ingredients in your face like a lot of other foundations that go one about how many "natural ingredients" it contains.
The packaging is clean, simple. I find the bottle makes it look darker than it is. In Nars Sheer Glow shades I am "Siberia" and the shade "Natural Ivory" matches PERFECT.
It is really an in-between yellow-beige shade, there isn't as much of a pink undertone as it looks on the bottle.
The only thing I think is quite sad is that this product is easily missed. I think it isn't the best-selling foundation around so it's usually located at the VERY bottom of the Annabelle display.
If you're ever out and see the display, LOOK DOWN!
There are usually testers for every shade, and the price is pretty fair (I believe it's $8.47 at Walmart), so I think everyone should give it a try. I personally think it's great for those with acne & scars. It's a medium coverage foundation that could probably be easily built up.
It is transfer resistant as it says on the bottle. I went out into the rain with it on, went inside and wiped my face off with a piece of paper towel and I didn't see any transfer.
I think it might actually blend into your skin tone (kind of like that almay smart shade foundation), but it isn't really advertised as that, although that could be what "Skintrue" means.
All in all, great foundation. I think I've found my drugstore HG foundation.

I love that this is a Canadian brand, and for its price is actually pretty good. It has nice beige undertones in it which counter my red quite nicely, goes on very smooth and is super easy to apply. A great dewy finish and I'd say it has medium coverage without feeling heavy at all. Only $6.00!
Unfortunately, after using this on and off for the last four years now it seems to break me out in cystic acne which is too bad because I really liked it.
I don't think you should try this is you have sensitive skin, but anyone else looking for a cheaper foundation that works, give this a try!

I bought this product while in a rush, and the price wasn't too bad, so I grabbed it without really thinking. HUGE MISTAKE. After coming home, I read some reviews, and got nervous about using this product, especially since most of the reviews mentioned that it made users break out. I tried it anyways, and woke up the next morning with a blotchy, ITCHY face. Luckily the return policy at my local drugstore is fantastic, so that wasn't too much of a hassle.
I was also disappointed with this product because, even though right after application it looked beautiful, an hour or so later my face looked extremely greasy. It felt heavy and slippery on my face. After wear, it accentuated red spots on my face, and didn't do anything for blemishes. The matte coverage is really nice, but only lasts for about an hour, then looks blotchy and unattractive. I will not be repurchasing.

Really wanted to love this foundation. I had gone to the mall that day to buy Rimmel Lasting Finish makeup which looked natural and had good reviews. I bought this on impulse instead because the packaging reminded me of Proactiv Spf moistruizer which I love, it made me think.simple and clean. Although I love the weightless feel, its light coverage, and decent lasting time, unfortunately, this made me break out in red hotness all over my face!! I have crazy sensitive skin, and instead of hiding redness, it produced more on my face! Up to my cheekbones where it never is!
So I wont be buying this again. But I dont give it a complete crap rating because I know someone will be able to use this that have less sensitive skin that's more thicker and stronger. I might have seen a bit of grey undertone but Im not sure. Either way, tied on this product overall.

I tried this foundation out for the past 2 weeks and I am surpised but I reallllllly likr it. I bought it on a whim ( you know because I just HAD to add to my foundation collection) and it matches my skin PERFECTLY. Wow. I think the biggest problem I have had with foundation has been colour match. Even though the finish/longevity has been great on some foundations the colour has never been perfect. This one works wonders for me. I am true beige in the summer and natural ivory in winter. For the price I cant complain. I also bought the sun tan colour when I want killer contouring.
The finish is great. I look luminous but not greasy and yet still a nice medium+ coverage ( if I use a brush). A sponge gives me so coverage at all.

I really like this foundation it's is a great in between matte and dewey finish that I really like.It has a medium coverage but it really does need to be set with a powder other wise it will really start fading. It has a squeeze tube keeping the tube from getting really mess.It also comes with 40ml rather than the stantard 39 mls from most drugstore brands
You can get this in Walmart for almost 3 dollars cheaper than in the pharmaprix so just keep that in mind

This product costs $10 and the shade selection isn't the best.
It's light coverage and lasts for 6 hours at most. It will do nothing for dark circles.
I bought this because it is non-comodogenic but there are definitely non-comodogenic foundations with better coverage out there like (check out Almay)! Also, it emphasizes my dry spots A LOT. Even when I moisturized and applied sunscreen, my skin would show flaky, dry patches with this. It does provide a matte finish which would suit oily skin types (but powder is probably necessary to make it last longer). I will not repurchase.

I bought this product as my because I was trying to find something cheap, that didn't do anything terrible to my skin. I found much more than that. This makeup is super good for acne. It doesn't make it worse at all, and covers it well. It provides decent coverage, but isn't too thick or cakey or anything like that. I bought it in true beige, and it matches perfectly, there isn't much else to say about this product. It works, and at the price it's at, there's nothing more I can ask for.

I love this!
i don't wear foundation but i have bad bad dark circles. i use this to go on top of my concealer so they look a little more natural with a little more coverage. I have this in True Beige and it matches my NC20 skin perfectly. many said that it turns out grey-ish but that didn't bother me at all, i couldn't even see it with my skintone. i have tried to use it all over my face when i played around with makeup in the washroom and it looked pretty natural.
one thing i realized is that it doesn't last all day or maybe it is cause i don't use powder to set it... i never wear anything on my face other than concealer and mascara... soo yeah... but still i love this product!

Overall: I really like this product. I've been using it [in Medium Beige] for about two years now. I have some acne scarring and get mild break outs every so often. This is the only product that has given me really great consistent coverage.
**To note though: When used alone, it didn't last long and I have only moderately oily skin. I have to put on a loose powder to set everything and stop it from running.
Price: Usually pretty good - I can usually check at Wal-Mart or the drug store, and one is bound to have it on sale for $7.99 or so. Regular it's $12.99.
Packaging: Nothing fancy.

I purchased this product a month or so back in the shade Natural Ivory. The color seemed to match my skin pretty well, however I think it is the case of my new bumpy little friends on my jawline. Hello PIMPLES.
Actually, I am sure it's the cause of my acne because I gave my skin a "vacation" from makeup and they calmed down, put the makeup back on and BLAM the Cascade Mountains where back on my face.
I was happy with the coverage but I think I need to stop being so stingy with my makeup and invest in some higher end products.. or at least higher quality.

Great matte finish. It's a great alternative to Mary Kays medium-coverage foundation. My only beef is that it doesnt last that long as the mary kay foundation.

I bought this product after seeing that my cousin uses it and it seems to work well on her. I definately DONT recommend it... at all... i was really rooting for it too because it's a Canadian brand. Unfortunately, the coverage was horrible, the colour didn't match well at all (not enough colours to choose from) and it didn't control oil at all. At the end of the day I looked worse because the makeup looked more melted than anything. Also my skin got really itchy and irritated from it. I will possibly keep it and try it in the summer mixed with lotion as a tinted moisturizer type thing. Or give it to my cousin.

I've been using it for a week, and so far, I am happy to have found a good match for my light medium olive skin tone in an inexpensive foundation (Medium Beige). Coverage is light, but enough to even my skin tone and tone down redness, and I like that it sets into a matte, soft, almost powdery finish. I have skin that tends to oily, and so far, it has remained reasonably oil free for most of the day.

I thought this product worked really well for the first week or so, but then I began developing little bumps in my skin. I don't normally get these and I wondered what was causing them, so I stopped using this foundation and went back to my regular foundation. After a few weeks of not using the annabelle foundation the bumps went away. It's really unfortunate because I didn't mind it coverage wise, and it was cheap; but unfortunately I seem to be allergic to it.
