Love this blush! Great colour payoff, lasts for yonks. Maybe I'm a bit biased because I love matte shades but the texture is awesome, it lasts all day. Definitely will repurchase although I won't need to because I haven't hit pan x

I remember when I first purchased this blush. I ran home and applied it like I did all of my drugstore blushes and was HORRIFIED. It looked like I was a kid who had just come in the house from playing in the dirt and I accidentally touched my face. I was so disappointed that I threw it into my makeup drawer and didn't touch it for probably a few months. I'm so glad that I picked it up again. With a light hand, this gives the perfect berry color to my cheeks that's easily blended. I've tried applying it in different ways and I've found that applying it like a stripe going backward towards my ear (obviously make sure it's blended, we're not going for the 80's look) works better than just applying it to the apples of my cheeks because it offers a contour look without having to use a different color. This is my go to everyday blush but when going out apply just a bit more and it looks great in pictures. I've gotten quite a few compliments on my blush before and it's always this one lol. Also, on those days where you wake up late and can barely manage to take a shower but you still need a bit of makeup on before you run out the door, I take a MAC 109 (or any other fluffy blush brush) and apply just a bit to both of my eyelids. No method needed really just dab and swipe it onto the lid and it gives a beautiful, easy awake look to your eyes with perfect contour (it works with your natural browbone) as well as perfect coloration to the lid and under the brow. DO NOT PUT ALOT, just one dab into the blush and then on the eyelid it should go lol. This blush definitely warms up my complexion especially since (if you're read my review on MAC Studio Fix Powder you know this) I have issues with my foundation. Desireesbeautyblog.Blogspot.com

I am an NC 30-35 and as a blush Raizin must be worn very lightly to avoid a bruised look. I am a blush junkie and have far too much. As a result I've found many blushes to work well as eyeshadow! When swatched side-by-side on my skin, Raizin blush looks almost identical to MAC's Brown Script (one of my all-time favorites). They both have the same brown-reddish color. Raizin is just ok as a blush for me, but works great as a crease color on my eyes when doing a brown smokey eye. For medium skintones, don't overlook this simply because you think it is too dark. I love finding multi-uses for my makeup. Hope this helps!

This is a show stopping color! My skin is medium brown and it comes across as red, but a very wearable red if applied correctly. It is extremely pigmented and applies smoothly. The color is buildable for a fancier look. I will say, as a recovering blush-a-holic, that less is definately more. Start with a little and add gently. A few swipes and its red cheeks! This is my go-to whenever I need something dramatically pretty to brighten up my face. It also looks gorgeous without a lot of makeup on. As one of my first "high end" makeup purchases I was hooked and still reach for it often.

I love this blush. I initially discovered this while watching a YouTube tutorial, I tried it on ever so briefly in the Selfridges chaos and instantly loved the effect. I'm an NW45 in MAC so this lovely brown red blush suited me well. It brings out my skin after I've applied my foundation so well and gives me a lovely winter glow. I only need a bit for when I'm doing everyday stuff, but for nights out applying a little more never hurts with this product. MAC at its best, definitely worth every penny for making my skin look banging. I reccomend this highly.

For my wedding in 2009 I went to the Mac counter and had my make up did. This is still going strong since then. True I have others, my favourite is an old Mac eyeshadow that I use as pick me up when I am looking washed out. Anyhooo the photo's of me wearing this I was really shocked at how pretty it was without looking tooo made-up.
I am able to build up the colour for night time, or play it down for the day.

I have no clue as to my mac colour is as I use BM warm deep.

This shade works well with women of color. It is an intense reddish brown color so you have to use a light hand but does complement darker skintones. It can also be used as a bronzer.

My major complaint is with the packaging. Within days of purchasing this product, the clear plastic disk that is inserted in the cover of the compact came out and I have been unable to put it back in. This leaves the product exposed to contaminants unless place in in another container. I have had to put mine in a plastic bag to keep dirt out and keep it from breaking up and spilling into my makeup drawer. This is the 2nd MAC blusher that I have had where the top came off. With the first, I thought it was a fluke, but it now looks like a design flaw.

Why can't MAC make a more durable compact on the order of Nars? It's ridiculous. I will finish this product but I will not repurchase unless MAC can improve their packaging.

I'm not too sure why I decided to start wearing blush but I really wanted to try something new. I went to the Mac counter and tried this color on and it was so gorgeous on me. I was a touch of color that made my skin glow instantly without having the "clown look". It is so beautiful on my skin. I am an NW45 for reference.

If you have a warm complexion and don't own this, you've never been to a MAC counter for blush... Good rich deep color thats amazing for contouring. I will always use both this and Sweet as Cocoa!

I used to wear this as a teen, fell out of love with it, and just recently bought a new one. And now I remember why I used to love it. It looks oh-so-pretty on my NC50 skin.
It's an everyday color blush- it's a brick red color. If you're a WOC, get this blush. It just looks so pretty on darker skin.

I'm afraid to say that I've worn this blush almost everyday for, like, a year. When my Sweet as Cocoa broke when it fell on the floor, I had no choice but to go with this. I found it in my mom's bathroom, tucked away...I'm 100% positive she didn't even know she had it. So I took it and put it to use!

For reference MAC thinks I'm a NW43 (I say this because MAC always matches me wrong, so I don't wear their foundation), and this looks so nice on me. I bring it all the way up through my cheek bones to my temples and in that way it acts as a bronzer too. People have told me it makes me look like I have a nice, sculpted face.

I'm not even near hitting pan on this despite my religious use of it. Also, it was voted BEST BLUSH FOR DARK SKIN in InStyle mag and I think they're right.

This blush is great!
It's a staple in the colder seasons and I've had it for a year now and is one of my favorites. It's highly pigmented so you don't need to use a lot of it all the time.
I've had it for a year now and it hasn't even dented, the color is so versatile and I've even used it as a base as an eye shadow as well.

This was my fourth blush purchase from MAC and so far my favourite. Applied subtly on my NC50/NW45 complexion, it gives a natural and warm look. Would definitely recommend it.

I won a contest & I had the choice to take what I wanted so I decided to take the raizin blush! Several people said a lot of good things about this color. So I tried it. WOW love love love this color on my NW45! I'll buy it when it will end (probably in 6 years lol). It really gives a natural look. :) xx

My intro to blush was MAC's Ambering Rose, a shimmery soft pinkish plum. Raizin is the plain jane older sister of Ambering Rose. It's the exact same color with a matte finish. I love to use it to really put focus AND color on my cheeks. It's more expensive than a drugstore blush, but the quality is insane! As a brown girl (MAC NW50) who loves blush, Raizin is a dream. :-)

Yes Raizin looks great on me, I'm NC45. I bought it not for me though but for my Mom who's NW47 or NW55 (?) I forgot what she is because she usually uses other brands of foundation besides MAC. Anyway she loves Raizin too, and it looks great on her. I prefer my blushes to be more orange-y though. But this is more of a 'safe bet' blush for me, when there's absolutely nothing.

I thought this would be a beautiful blush on my nc43-44 skintone - but it makes my cheeks look a bit muddy and I felt like it went on a bit unevenly. I've used matte blushes before... so I have NO idea why it applied a bit splotchy.

This was the first blush I purchased from MAC... my first MAC product in fact. I am NC50 / NW45 and all the MUA would recommand this blush to women of colour. I think it's a nice option for those who are newbies in makeup... Gives a subtle natural effect without being to overwhelming. Nice for fall and winter. I got it maybe 3 years ago and now I know makeup a little more, I think this blush is ok but not my fave among all my blushes.
