I got this to help moisturize my skin during my first pregnancy because it was a nice scent that didn't upset my (...at the time) delicate stomach, lol. Didn't prevent stretch marks or anything that miraculous, but it did help with the dry skin and itchies you get while preggers. And as I already mentioned didn't make me more nauseous.

Knowing that I like fig scented products, my sister picked this up for me during the recent sale at BBW, and I'm glad she did! In addition to the nice scent (I find it very relaxing for some reason), this is quite moisturizing but not so heavy or greasy that it can't be used during summer. It just glides on the skin and gives in a nice sheen. The jar it comes in might not be the most hygienic way of packaging a product but it's okay. I still like Henri Bendel Wild Fig body cream a little more but this is a great alternative if you're on a budget. It's a little cheaper. Thumbs up!

I love this cream. It is absolutely the right texture and everything. The only problem I have with it, is that it does not smell like fig at all. It actually smells like pine trees to me. And thats fine, cause i like that smell. But its definitely not a fig smell. Oh well. Its perfect for winter.

I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THE PACKAGING....IT COMES IN A ROUND JAR, WHICH IS FINE WITH ME, YOU CAN SCRAPE OUT MORE THAT WAY! ;) ALTHOUGH IT DIDN'T SMELL LIKE FIG, IT DID REMIND ME OF CHRISTMAS OR THE HOLIDAY TIME...IT HAD A SLIGHT ODOR THAT REMINDS ME OF THIS CHRISTMAS WREATH CANDLE I HAVE, NOT TOO STRONG...VERY NICE ACTUALLY! MY SISTER COMPLIMENTED ME ON IT TODAY, SAID IT SOUNDED FRESH. I DIDN'T PAY FOR IT AS I GOT IT IN A SWAP, BUT I WOULD SWAP FOR IT AGAIN! ;)

Expensive and poor packaging. I also support the option of a pump bottle, please! A female friend of mine asked what smelled so good and borrowed some from my sample. However, a male co-worker in his 20's said, "Ewwww, somthin' smells like--pumpkins!" I read that guys liked pumpkins, along with licorice and vanilla, but anyway, I can't put this on without thinking of that moron. I can enjoy this no longer :( I am giving this a 3 because I did enjoy it immensely on myself, albiet for a very short time!

This cream is very rich & creamy. It also has a mild fragrance. Not real strong, which I like. It's 20.00, which is a little high, but it works very well. I use the Fig Body Scrub first then moisturize with the cream. I would purchase it again.

My mom got me the fig body balm for Valentine's Day. I had been wanting it since the girl at bath and body works smoothed it all over my hands. It has the yummiest smell. I put it on after my shower in the morning, and the smell stays all day. I love it!!! It's a little expensive $20 but definately worth it. It will last forever because you don't need much of the balm to moisturize your entire body. Go smell this!!!

I put this lovely cream on this morning, just on my calves, arms, and a little extra on my neck. It is 9 pm and the wonderful delicate fig scent still lingers. The texture of this cream is perfect. Love it, highly recommended!!

I love, love, love the scent of this lotion. It's a lot more grown-up than their usual fare. It's not a green fig scent, but more sweet - although not sweet like a fig newton. I use it to layer under my Diptyque Philosykos, and it gives it a sweet fig note that blends very nicely and extends the life of the fragrance. My only gripe? The packaging. This is definitely a product for a pump bottle, rather than in a jar where you have to scoop out the product.

This smells quite good, though I agree with one of the other reviewers, it's not a true fig scent. It's more of a sweet scent. It's on the thin side, having the consistancy of one of B&BW's everyday body lotions, not even the body cream. Because of this, I think putting it in a jar was silly, as it's not practical to scoop it out. A tube or bottle would have been a better choice. Good companion to the scrub (which I really like) but I probably wouldn't buy it again, as I don't love it.

UPDATE on 3/4/04: I have been using this a lot more lately, and I have fallen in love with it! It's the perfect consistency before work because it sinks in quickly, but leaves my skin so silky and I love the scent. It also seems to make my skin more luminous. I love it!

I really like this body cream, and I am picky. I like the smell, smells slightly sweet and fruity, but not sickeningly sweet. I like the way the cream sinks in almost immediately, but doesn't disappear like I find BBW's regular Body Creams to do. The tub is lovely, a light pinkish purple with a silver embossed lid (reminds me of T.LeClerc). The cream is a little thin to scoop out of the tub well, but if it was any thicker it wouldn't feel so good on the skin.
Unfortunately, it did not stop my legs from itching, so the search goes on, although I will still use this on the rest of my body.

This is one of the newer sents. I have a friend who works for BBW and she gave me a bag filled with *huge* samples of all the new scents and products. If you like the fragrance of figs, then this cream is for you. It's not too heavy and although it is sweet, it isn't overly so. It keeps my skin nice and soft without making it feel greasy or slimey. Rave from me! :o)
