Sweet purple floral, very nice lilac/violet blend in a misty sort of way that does suggest twilight, but it gets sweeter as it dries and in the end it's very sweet on me and more of a little-girl candy violet scent. Not very expensive, though, so doable as a day scent if your skin doesn't amplify sweeeettttt like mine does.

Pleasant, slightly powdery violet with a bit of anise on top. Not terrible, but nothing special, either.

Overall, this is a nice fragrance, but there's nothing standout about it. I too detect the violet notes, but also something slightly powdery. The staying pwer on this one is so-so compared to other CS fragrances.

A soft and powdery fragrance, Perfect Twilight opens with top notes of anise and Italian bergamot. Its full, feminine middle note is predominantely comprised of purple flowers -- African violet and spicy lilac -- and is accented with greener floral notes of honeysuckle and freesia. The fragrance burns down into a cool, dreamy base accord of subtle musk, vanilla, sandalwood and orris.
A nice simple soft powdery floral violet with what I thought was jasmine or something underneath but from the notes it must be the honeysuckle and freesia. It is rather nice so I don't understand why it is getting slammed here -- it's not that unique and perhaps that's it?

Boy am I glad that I haven't puchased any of this line. It's striking out big-time. This fragrance is boringly sweet, I do smell violets big time on the opening but it's not a "clean" violet smell like I usually cling to. On the dry down, it is pretty ho-hum, sweet, sort of cloying, an uneventful experience.

The scent is very powdery, kind of flowery but in a green way; if that makes any sense. Reminds me of the smell in the early morning when everything is fresh and dew has settled on the grass. The flowers are just beginning to open and the Sun's rays stretch out over the earth making all the scents rise.
*EDIT* I took off one lippie on each of the Creative Scentualizations because they dont have any staying power....

i'm not impressed much by any of the perfect scentualizations fragrances...they are definatly sarah horwitz's own interpetation of scents. twilight is i think, is oneof the more mainstream, purple flower scents. i however, have discovered that i must not like these kinds because i think it smells like soap! and they must not mix well with my body chemisty because the dry down is about the same.

A bit too sweet and floral for me. I can imagine this smelling good on my friend, who adores super feminine powdery scents, but not me. This is pretty if you are looking for a cleaner and lighter scent. Available at www.lacremebeauty.com.

I didn't like this at all. Similar to L'Heure Bleue and Apres L'Ondee, two scents I don't like. This scent is heavy on powder, violets, and anise. Horrible drydown.

This is a fragrance for those who like violets and lilac, lots of them, and those who like an unusual and sweet, slightly powdery drydown. When I say unusual I mean that it doesn't smell chemical or cheap, it has an interesting and sweet flavor. This is not unlike candy. I happen to love it. I also like AG Ce Soir Ou Jamais, Heure Exquise, and Creed Tubereuse Indiana, which are nothing like Twilight but hopefully give you a sense of where I'm coming from. And I like Helmut Lang. I really enjoy this fragrance and its very long-lasting. Sometimes I get a whiff off my clothes and I wonder, what is that--it smells so good! However, I can see how this would not be for everyone.

Definitely not me! Too loud and sweet. I'm not even waiting for the drydown because this is just a boring fragrance.

CS Perfect Twilight: Ordered the sample. So glad I didn't order the full bottle. I thought this one had a chance with me. Its Soft and powdery, which usally is a thumbs up for me. But I find it invasive and cloying. It gave me a headache. Taken off the WTF website the top note is Anise and Italian Bergamot. Middle note is made up predominantly of purple flowers--African Violet and Spicy Lilac--accented with greener floral scents of Honeysuckle and Freesia. Perfect Twilight burns down to a cool, dreamy base note of subtle Musk, Vanilla and Sandalwood with Orris notes. I have had it on for about 30 minutes without any "dreamy" dry down. I smell overly sweet. No luck here.
