I love this conditioner. I use it with the L'Oreal Vitamino Shampoo and it does wonders for my hair. I have thick, color treated hair which tends to feel dry. I have had trouble finding a conditioner that softens my hair, yet is safe for color-treated hair. The Vitamino conditioner does just that. It is expensive and the bottle is not big but it does such a great job that I will continue to purchase.

I wanted to love it, oh how I did. I've been using the cheap L'Oreal color protect conditioner for years and other than the smell, I spotted no difference. It does moisturize a little but that's it, a little.
So...
+ Smells nice
+ Conditions.. kinda
- Very expensive for what it is
- The cheaper version does the exact same thing
I guess it might be different for different hair but for me, no luck. I'm very sad about that, I've had years of misses with hair products, I did hope this will finally be the HG conditioner I've been searching for. But no dice.
Edit: some washes later I must take off some lippies. It's just awful. It leaves a gunky residue in my hair, no matter how much I rinse. Yuck! Can't wait to receive my next attempt at finding a good conditioner in the mail so I could throw this away.

I did not find this product amazing, yet it did not do anything offensive to my hair. I really like its texture and consistency because it's not heavy/thick so its suitable for my fine hair, but it's not that moisturizing either so I always feel that I need to use more than I should. This sucks because the bottle only has 150ml of product which is the smallest conditioner size I've come across so far (apart from travel size obvs.) I've managed to use this up in about a month or so, and I alternate my conditioners daily too. In terms of maintaining my hair colour, I'm not quite sure tbh because I usually wash my hair everyday so my colour is bound to lose its vibrancy and richness quickly regardless but I think this has helped compared to using other conditioners. I won't be repurchasing because it didn't wow me enough to keep me faithful and I'd rather just keep trying new things for now... however, in the future if I can't find a better colour conditioner, I wouldn't mind purchasing it again in the salon size as that's only around £14 so definitely is your money's worth.

So, I think this product is great but I don't think I will buy it again. And why? Because I prefer richer textures (it suits my hair best) but for those of you who like conditioners I would recommend this. This conditioner is great, smells really good and leaves your hair looking shiny and very soft to the touch. Unfortunatelly my hair only likes masks or richer conditioners, so I won't buy this again.

I am a big fan of the l'oreal professional series. Vitamino shampoo is like a miracle drug for my hair - the conditioner is good too but the outcome isn't so dramatic and it doesn't do an amazing job in terms of colour protection... at the end of the day it is a good, but expesive glorified conditioner. Don't get me wrong, its GREAT and I would buy it again if it was on sale but this isn't the conditioner I always use and its not one id buy if i wanted a colour preserving one- good thing too because it is exxyyy!! I actually buy this line for the detangling and shinyness it gives me!
It has a great smell and I love the pump packs, no way would I ever buy the smaller bottles - they're ridiculously expensive! It does keep my hair nice and soft, helps with tangles better than other brands but I need to use a lot of it each time and that makes it even more expensive. I give it 4 stars because it's great, but not for the reasons advertised.

I use this for my color treated hair and it seems to prevent fading/brassiness. It's more hydrating than the drugstore version, color vive, but I have to use quite a bit of it so I'm not sure how good the value is. It's a bit heavy for my oily hair but it leaves it soft. I prefer Kerastase to this (this line is one step below the Kerastase line, both manufactured by L'oreal) but it's much more affordable so I will continue to use it.

I can't even stress enough how amazing this product is! I love the Shampoo and the Conditioner. Recently I was at the Grocery Store and saw this(i know you're not supposed to buy these products expect for in professional salons but I did) and on a whim purchased it.
A little backround on my hair-- I have naturally light brown hair that I have been highlighting/dyeing blonde for the past 8 years. Every year at least once or twice I do a dramatic change to blackish.brown. So needless to say my hair gets a beating. A few months ago I had a DISASTER with someone other than my hair stylist doing my hair. It came out orange and was FALLING out. It broke when I even tried to touch it. So I went back to the brown. And am going to be hightlighting my hair again soon. Oh and my hair is naturally CURLY and I straighten it about 2-3 times a week.
Anyways the conditioner smells GREAT and it goes on really nice. Really you can tell the difference the second you apply it. I have found that it works better if I squeeze out all the excess moisture and then put this on, and leave it for about 5 minutes. After the first time I used this I blowdryed my hair and then began to straighten it. I COULDN'T believe how soft and shint my hair was. It literally looked like a commercial haha. This product is EXPENSIVE but it's THE best product I've EVER tried! More people should know about this!

I like this conditoner. It is a lightweight, raspberry/fruity scented condtioner which leaves my coloured treated hair in top-notch condition. It isn't drying and doesn't leave any residue. After using this, my hair is light, clean and very easy to straighten:-D
HG!!
*Update. Sigh. Won't be repurchasing. This seems to be drying my hair out

Been using this for about 3 years solid now. I have long, bleached and coloured brown hair, so gets dry in places.
Only need a small amount and instantly feels softer, more manageable, and no tangles.
Use shampoo as well, best thing I have found.
Is expensive, so buy from Ebay, costs me around AUS$90 for 1500ml shampoo and 500ml conditioner but only purchase once a year or so.

Brilliant stuff. I have been using kerastase because of the reviews but personally it did nothing for my hair. A salon can tell you every brand of shampoo and conditioner is brilliant but i've learnt it all depends on your hair type. i have long waist length bleached hair which has been been bleached for 6 years now. i was about to dye it dark brown to try and help the condition
anyway this stuff is brilliant. However, i wonder if it just coats the hair and in the long run does damage.hope not. if not it's well worth the money.
UPDATE - I have been using this for about 6 weeks now and it's totally dried my hair out. I thought this was the best stuff i'd ever used at first but now i do not get the same results i first did. really sad about it as i thought i'd found my HG condish. sadly not! P.S The smell is enough to keep be buying. it's not a great product but it's not bad. i's good for everyday as long as i use a really moiturising condish once a week like paul mitchell instant daily moisture. hair is light, shiny and soft, just can get dry using this. shampoo is a lovely gentle, thick texture, like velvet also with that lovely rasberry smell

I have to say that this is one of the best conditioners I've ever used --- or may even be the best single one.
I used to use the All Soft line by Redken, and liked how it made my dry and slightly coarse hair nice and soft. After using Redken for years back then, I switched to Kerastase, which was amazing. Then I switched to Aveda, and tried all different lines. while Aveda may be HG for some people, it just didn't work for me. As a result, my hair became coarse and dull and easily tangled , and was either too oily or too dry depending on the particular product. There isn't anything that does the job "just right". So I decided to say bye bye to Aveda and bought the color protecting shampoo & conditioner by L'Oreal Professionnel.
Wow! The first time I used the products, I couldn't believe how smooth and soft and tangle-free my hair was. My hair hasn't felt like this for a year while using Aveda, and I almost forgot that it could feel this great. I have bleached/colored hair and is dry because it's damaged. The shampoo already made a difference --- I could really feel how it softened and detangled my hair. The conditioner has a really thin consistency, so at first I was skeptical about how moisturizing it could be. However, while applying it, I noticed that it instantly detangled and smoothed out my hair by a lot, like no other conditioners, thick or runny. And after rinsing it out, my hair looked shiny and healthy, was incredibly smooth and moisturized, but not weighed down at all. It's just fantastic. I'm amazed by how such a seemingly light conditioner can do such a good job at moisturizing without make me feel that I have lots of product left in the hair. Together, the shampoo and the conditioner keeps my hair well balanced: not too rich and moisturizing that my hair gets greasy fast, and not too light that my hair is dry and coarse. Perfection.
Overall I find this line to be very similar to Kerastase's color protecting line, but I think I like L'Oreal Professionnel even better.

I actually really like this conditioner. I haven't found my HG of conditioners, but this isn't bad. It smells great, is gentle, and gives me frizz-free hair. No WOW factor though. My only gripe is that you get so little product for the money. Overall, not the best, not the worst, but above average, IMO.

I disagree with reviews saying this is exactly like the cheaper Vive line. The Vive shampoos and conditioners make my skin break out in hives and this stuff doesn't. I've been using it every day for years. This is my favorite brand of conditioner to use on my fine color treated hair.

I don't mind spending extra money on a conditioner that actually works, but this conditioner is a marketing gimmick if I ever saw one. High price tag, and it did NOTHING for my hair. In fact, where is the moisture? I bought this due to the rec's, but it's definately all hype. Please do yourself a favor and skip this.

This is a great conditioner. I have long naturally curly hair that is highlighted and this has been the best conditioner for me. It is expensive, but it is worth the money. Does not take but just a little amount of conditioner to condition the hair, so the bottle does last a while. I will definitely be buying this conditioner again.

This has become my HG conditioner. Before, my color treated/highlighted hair was shedding in handfuls even with high end shampoos, conditioners and styling products. A stylist introduced me to this, and let me tell you, I'm on my second tub and hope that my hair never "gets used" to this and it loses its great effects. My hair is super soft, totally detangled, fallout has decreased about 95%, and my hair is not weighed down in the least. A miracle, since my fine, thin hair is usually flat after using just about any conditioner if I'm not careful to stay away from my roots.
The only complaints i have is that it comes in a tub (I hate tubs, I prefer pump bottles) and is really expensive...I think I paid about $17.00 for the small tub. But a little goes a long way. I'll repurchase again and again.

Save yourself a lot of dough, this is way over-hyped and overpriced L'oreal that gives me the same results as their Color-Vive line. It's lightweight and not moisturizing. If you have normal hair it would be fine, but it's definately not worthy of color treated hair.

This is a decent conditioner for coloured hair. Recently, I got copper and blonde highlights and this conditioner, combined with the shampoo, has quite nicely prevented the copper highlights from fading. The scent is lovely, not too strong. I wish it came in a pump dispenser like the shampoo.

This so far is the BEST conditioner I have ever used - hands down. I'm going to try the poo next. I love, love, love the smell, I love how it detangles my hair, especially now since I have some damage/breakage due to a chemical treatment. It's a shame this comes in such a small tube though, that's my only grievence..well that and the price. I've wasted so much money and time though searching for other products..I'm done. In my eyes this is well worth the $$. I'm sticking to this.
